Ashu was out of town to Mumbai to attend a neurosurgery conference for 3 days. Nidhi was alone at home. It had started to rain in Lucknow and Nidhi was feeling his absence a lot. She remembered the day when she and Ashu were stuck up in heavy rains. All those memories were making her all the more lonely. While sitting she heard some sounds coming from the balcony outside. Who can be here at this time?...she thought. Initially she ignored the sounds but when they constantly coming, she went out to see what was the matter?
She went outside and saw a small cute white puppy hiding behind the plants in the balcony...seeing that puppy, she immediately had a sweet smile on her face. How cute that puppy was...so small, so scared...he had got totally wet due to rains. As she went closer to the puppy, he started getting further scared seeing her. She lifted him in her arms and moved her hands lovingly on his back. She took him inside and dried him up. After this, she gave him warm milk to drink.
In sometime itself, they both developed a strong and sweet bond. Nidhi decided to keep the puppy with them in their house only as she found a sweet companion for her when Ashu wasn't around. With that puppy she forgot that Ashu was not with her for these days. After 3 days, Ashu came home from Mumbai and when he entered inside, he saw the puppy in the house.
Ashu: Nidhi yeh kahan se aaya?
Nidhi: yeh jab aap gaye the to baarish mein bheegkar humare ghar ki balcony mein aakar baitha tha. Fir ise main andar le aayi thi...dekhiye na kitna pyara hai...
Ashu: tumhe pata hai na mujhe dogs pasand nahi hain...fir bhi...
Nidhi: haan mujhe pata hai lekin yeh dog nahi ek chhota sa puppy hai...just see yeh kitna pyara hai...
The puppy saw him and started wagging his tail on meeting him. Ashu didn't feel like touching him and went inside the room. Nidhi knew he was upset to see the puppy as he wasn't very fond of the pets. But she decided that she would do anything to make both of them friends with each other. while Ashu was having tea in his room, the puppy came there inside (actually Nidhi had left him there).
He went close to him and started licking his feet. Ashu tried to shoo him away but he kept on staring at him and trying to come close to him. Ashu called Nidhi but she didn't listen to him as she wanted him to come close to the new member in their family. Finally Ashu picked him up and somehow for the first time felt the touch of a puppy in his arms. Instantly he developed a soft corner for him with his soft touch and warmth of the love in his eyes.
He had a smile on his face and took him to Nidhi with the puppy in his arms. Nidhi was very happy to see them together. Finally Ashu had accepted him and they both cuddled him up in their arms together. Ashu asked her to have a name for him...and Nidhi instantly spoke up...I have thought of a name for him...Caesar. Ashu loved this name and they started a new phase with Caesar in their life.
