With all these thoughts Ashu entered the room and as both of them saw him, Nidhi introduced him to her cousin Siddharth. She told him about himand that he had been in the US since many years and that's why he wasn't available at the time of their wedding. Siddharth asked her to prepare dinner for all of them as it was long that he tasted anything prepared by her and that he wanted to share some good time with his Jiju. Ashu too expressed his desire to do the same and took Siddharth to the garden outside. Nidhi served tea for him as well and then went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Ashu: Nidhi ne aaj se pehle tumhara zikr nahi kiya...

Siddharth: haan Jiju wo kya hai na humari families ke beech mein thodi misunderstandings ki wajah se bahut time se humare bade logon mein interactions nahi hai...so maybe that's why she didn't...but ab main aa gaya hu na...sab theek kar dunga...dekhna aap...

Ashu: hmm I hope so...tumhe dekh ke lagta hai ki Nidhi tumse bahut close hai...

Siddharth: Nidhi...wo to hum sab ki nanhi pari hai...sab cousin brothers ki ek hi behen...aur wo bhi sabse chhoti...bahut laad pyar mein rakha hai ise hum sab ne...

Ashu: to kuch batao na...wo bachpan mein kaisi thi? Main zyada nahi jaanta uske bachpan ke baare mein...

Siddharth: bachpan mein na...wo ek udti titli jaisi thi...kabhi idhar to kabhi udhar...sab uske aage peeche dauda karte the...aur mujhse wo specially bahut zyada attached thi...kisi se bhi jhagda hota tha...to unki shikayat mujhse kiya karti thi...use pata tha...ki main uska hi saath dunga...ahahah...ekdum pagli thi wo...hum use chidaya karte the...ki badi hoke hum uski shaadi ek daaku se saath kar denge...to rone lagti thi...bahut pyar tha hum sab bhai behno ke beech...but ab bade hokar...jaane wo sab kho gaya hai jaise...wo bhi kya din the...

Ashu: bachpan to hota hi aisa hai...masoom...Nidhi ki hobbies kyat hi...

Siddharth: uski hobbies...hmmm...painting...writing poetry...dancing...jaante hain...usne apni sabse pehli poetry mere liye likhi thi...sunaau...

On Ashu's signal he recollected her poetry and it was like...(I have taken my own poetry here which I wrote for Bawa Bro...)

How do I explain in words, what you mean to me

Whenever I close my eyes, I find you close to me.

In this lonely and dark world, you are a bright and shining star

You have a special place in my heart,

My brother...my best friend, so special you are.

You hold my hand; you help me find my way

I know you are with me, no matter come what may

You laugh with me when I'm happy and elated

You have tears in your eyes when I'm sad and depressed

I look up to you whenever I need an advice

I find you ready with one always...ever so wise.

You listen to me when I speak

You come to know even when I don't...

I need your help in all my decisions

I find you with me; without me saying.

The many things you've done; all the times you were there.

Even though I might not say; I appreciate all that you do

Where were you all these years; I missed you in all my smiles and tears

You make me feel at rest; to have you as my brother...I feel blessed

I feel very close to you though we are miles apart

You'll always be my brother; we are connected within our hearts.

Ashu was so impressed to hear this as now Nidhi had not written any poetry since the time he knew her...he felt sad to realise that she wasn't the same anymore...she had changed herself so much for him...he told Siddharth that he wanted to do something for her and would like to make this Diwali special for her. Siddharth told him that he had an awesome plan to do that... just the Nidhi came to invite them for dinner and they all went inside. Nidhi had prepared Sid's favourite dish...guess what...rajma rice...and all of them relished the delicious meals and their childhood memories. After dinner they all had coffee together and in the meantime when Nidhi was making coffee, Siddharth told him about his plan and Ashu agreed to that. He greeted them and went back home and promised to be with them the next day.

Next morning, Nidhi woke up early as every year she made rangoli on Diwali. So this year also she did the same and arranged colours and flowers for rangoli...to her surprise she saw Ashu too coming there and offering her help in making that. She was happily amazed to know that he wanted to do that and after that both of them made a beautiful rangoli...Nidhi was very happy today...not only because he helped her in rangoli...but mainly because today he tried to do something he had never done before.

After rangoli making they both had breakfast together and then told her that he would be going with Siddharth for some shopping as he didn't know much about the good shops now in Lucknow. Siddharth had asked him for his help as he wanted to buy something for his family. So Ashu went to meet him at their decided meeting point. The rest of her day passed off in decoration and arrangements for Diwali Pooja. It was evening when she called Ashu that he shall be home on time so that Pooja could be carried out on time and he told her that he would be there in some time.

Nidhi got ready for the Pooja and was waiting for him to come home. The door bell rang and as she opened the door...was astonished to see Ashu, Siddharth and her Baba with them...how come all of them together and that too with Baba...she thought. All of them came inside and Nidhi hugged Baba and asked Siddharth how did all this happen? Ashu told her that it was Siddharth who owes the credit for all this. He only took Ashu to meet Baba and helped them clear all their misunderstandings and differences and finally he had accepted their relation as he was happy to know that she was happy with her chosen life partner.

Baba: kabhi kabhi bade bhi galti karte hain...maine bhi ki thi jo tum dono ke pyar ko samajh nahi paya...par Siddharth ne mujhe uska ehsaas karaya aur maine apni galti ko sudharne ki koshish ki...mujhe maaf kar do tum dono...

Both of them touched his feet together and received his blessings and after this they all carried out the Diwali Pooja together ... ...Nidhi was very happy today and this was evident from her smile which was making her look all the more beautiful. Ashu and Nidhi lit the candles and diyas together and the entire house was full of light and happiness all around. After having dinner, Siddharth told her that one more surprise is waiting for her outside and she shall go and see it for herself. She ran outside and saw Ashu standing with crackers waiting for her...she was astonished and wondered how many more surprises are awaiting for her today...Ashu told her to join him in burning these crackers as he alone is very scared to do this. She went to him and helped him do this and gradually he became comfortable with the crackers.

All of them had a blast this Diwali and actually it became the most memorable Diwali of her life when she got her brother, her father and a changed Ashu and that too...just for her. She thanked her cousin Siddharth for coming back and doing all that he did for her and he promised her that in future, he won't let any misunderstanding creep up between them. Ashu too promised her that he would try to become a person that she wants him to be but she told him that she loved him as he is and he didn't need to change himself...he is the best and will remain the love of her life forever...
