Yes YES YES one of my fave writers is back...m I glad or m I mighty pleased
So happy to see you back Uma.. glad to know your project was completed successfully.,
A BIG BIG thank you for coming back with a new story.. looking forward to another masterpiece from your pen.
A story set in the 70s - cool! I can so relate to that eras thinking coz I m so backward for todas age π
Coming to ur chapter 1, I absolutely love the way u write.
It is such a beautiful and realistic portrayal of the (mental n psychological) class divide, esp. the way middle class family regarded high class families with a kind of spite n dint want to mix with them n considered their kids 'a bad influence' on their own children... everything is so relatable. I still remember i was in highschool in mid nineties, and there was this supposedly 'high class' gal in my class. After school, mothers who came up their kids wud whisper to each other, "Look there she goes.. you know she attends those kinda parties.. she wears those shoulder-less gowns and all..", "I know, my daughter wants to be friends with her but i told herr sternly to stay away from her.." etc.. etc.. Me n my mom laugh so much at such overheard barbs.."
sorry to bore you with my school memories but i mean what u have written is so realistic n relatable.
Haaye Uma, why did u make mallika ashu's sis in this?? why this kolavari Umaji? i love mallika as the other woman. but i guess a lot of readers wud be happy with this. But loved her snobbish characterization.
I loved rohan being nidhis bro though. he is too cute to be the 'other man' so to say.
so Ashu n his parents are a typical broadminded family.. loving all their characterizations so far..n they said yes already! cool.!!
really really looking fwd to this story..
will u give frequent updates like last time?
