NIDHI & ASHUTOSH IN DJ'S CABIN:
DJ: Congratualtions Dr. Mathur!! I got to know from Nidhi, y'day, that, you've confessed your love to her...
Ashutosh smiled brightly in reply...
A: 'Dr. Jen, we've come up here to seek your advice... Actually, Nidhi's Grandmom is asking us to return to India... Maybe, for we can have a talk over the decisions for future... We want the departure to be as soon as possible... But, with Nidhi's ongoing treatment, we are not sure, if we can leave... We wanted your opinion...
DJ: Look Dr. Ashutosh, As a doctor, & You yourself being one, understand the fact, that, the patient should complete the course of treatment..
But, because there is a genuine reason behind, I suggest, you can leave for India, But, her treatment should be resumed back there, with some psychotherapist... Ask him/her to have a word with me... They'll understand, where to resume from...
A: Ok Doc!! Thats great then, we shall plan our return to India ... Till then, she'll be continuing her therapy...
Both Ashutosh & Nidhi were on their way back home, when Ashutosh got a text message from DJ, asking him to meet her privately, after dropping Nidhi...

DJ: Dr.Ashutosh, I'm sorry for your inconvenience... But, what I wanted to talk to you, wouldn't have been able to do infront of Nidhi... That's kind of a private talk...
A: Doesn't matter Doc, you need not be sorry.. Please continue... DJ: Look Dr. Ashutosh, although, we are observing a tremendous amount of recovery in Nidhi, that never means, she has totally recovered... There are still few things & areas, where she still needs to recover...
Hurted hearts are always vulnerable to breakdown... She is one of them.. It's a really good sign from her side, that she confessed her deep buried love to you.. It's also lucky on her part to be loved back by you... But, mind it, if this relation is broken, I'm sorry to say, she may deteriorate further, than she ever was...
So, keep it in mind Doc, you are bound to a life long commitment... A relation,that you HAVE to sustain, whether you like it or not... Whether, anybody approves it or not... The person she'll need the most is you & only you... Somebody to make her believe, that no matter what, he loves her, & will love forever...
A: Doc, that thing is more than obvious for me... I understand the pros & cons of this confession & will abide by it, till my last breath... As for the approval, my parents have already done... As far as her parents are concerned, I don't think, more than Nidhi's happiness, there can be anything more for them... Although, they have no idea, about her sufferings till we came here... I don't know, how will they react...
DJ: I understand that... But, please, Its my sincere request, even if their is any problem as to your relation to be approved, do not leave her side, you should become her strongest support, her strength... Basically, to make the long story short, you are the one most responsible for this relationship...

But, Dr. Ashutosh, this is no normal marriage...

There are many aspects that make this a very different marriage...
Talking about something very basic; Nidhi is 27 years old & you must be... around...38 ? (Ashu nodded in a yes) Right? To some extent 10-11 years gap...
Normally, people prefer to marry in a lesser gap... you are different here...
Although, I don't want to look an orthodox, I clearly see, there needs to be understanding, love & care, & any r'ship can work then..
So, you just need to build those virtues in your relation, & everything can be perfect...
Secondly, What makes your relation a different one is, her past... Dr. Ashutosh, physical & emotional abuse at one side, & sexual abuse at the other... When, specially a female, has suffered, a sexual assault, or a rape by the spouse, it leaves, deep scars in her mind, for a very-very long time... It's a tremendously tough job, for her to again start with a new r'ship... You were lucky here, you both loved each other, from the beginning, so, that did not take much efforts...
For, such a female, even, if she agrees for a remarriage; however loving, caring & understanding her husband be, she WOULD BE, scared of physicality...
Her previous experiences, with her ex-spouse, will resurface again & again, where physical relation would concern...
And let me remind you, those scars won't go overnight...
Dr. Ashutosh, this is where, you have, your marriage very-very different from the normal ones... Patience & understanding is to be the key to make her come somewhere to normal... you have to make this, very-very sure, you maintain comfortable distances with her, Don't be far off, but don't come that near too, to scare her off... Don't expect her to be intimate right after your wedding, or after a few days.. Let her make herself comfortable around you... Let her digest the fact, that she's your wife, & you are her husband... Let herself make assured, that you won't hurt her, neither mentally, nor physically... Give her, her sweet time to believe the fact, that physicality is a bliss, with a loving partner like you & is not a torture, that she had felt previously, with her ex-spouse..
Become her best friend, try to talk to her about her feelings, make her feel, you would wait for her forever, whenever SHE feels to be, comfortable, then only you would progress further... Let her initiate to hint you, till then, please-please-please!!! Don't let her even feel guilty, that she isn't giving you, that you must be wanting from this relationship...

Dr. Ashutosh, don't lose your interest in your partner... She will try to do, the best she can, to make her r'ship with you PERFECT!!!! But, over a span of time...
You can talk to her, how much you love her, how do you love her, why do you love her, have heart-to-heart talks... Bare her heart... And you see, she'll try to heal quickly...

A WEEK LATER- AT THE DELHI AIRPORT
Nidhi was nervously sitting, waiting for the announcement to be done, for the flight to Lucknow... She was sitting anxiously, fidgeting with her fingers.. Mumbling something under her breath...
Ashutosh came & sat next to her seat & said- " Kya hua? Aur ye mooh-hi-mooh mein kya bole ja rahi ho?"
In her nervousness, she said, " Hanumaan Chalisaa padh rahi hoon... DB kehti thi, jab koi vipatti, koi musibat aaye, Kabhi darr lage, toh raksha ke liye, Hanumaan Chaalisaa padhna chahiye.."
Ashutosh chuckled at her cuteness- " Aur tum par kaun si vipatti, musibat aa gayi hai, jisse tumhe darr lag raha hai?"
N: Arrey!!! Meri vipatti, musibat, darr, sab kuch meri DB hi hain...
Jaise loha, lohey ko kaat ta hai, waise hi, DB ki prolb.. problem ko DB ke hi solution se khatam karne ki koshish kar rahi hoon...
A: Nidhi, mere kuch samajh nahi aa raha hai... Kya problem hai tumhe?
N: Dr. Ashutosh, 1 hour... Just 1 hour left... And we are going to be in Lucknow... Baba aur DB ko sab kuch sach bataana hai... Pata nahi, wo log kaise react karenge... Main unhe kaise bataaungi, ke pichle itne mahino se main unse baat kyu nahi kar rahi thi... Mere saath kya-kya hua... Aur phir upar se, humara relation... Wo log approve karenge ke nahi...
A: Nidhi... Nidhi... Nidhi... Relax! Hum sab hain na... More over MAIN HOON NA!!! It's a promise, main jaan laga doonga, unhe manaane ke liye... Par ab tum relax karo...!

After Ashni, Baba, & Maa came into the house, all went in to freshen up, & Ashutosh excused himself for an important phone call...
A: ( Over the phone) Hello, Yograj Uncle? Ji main Ashutosh bol raha hoon... Ji... Ji hum sab abhi Lucknow pohche hain... No uncle Jagan nahi aaya... Nidhi bohot zyaada thaki hui hai, abhi main usey stressed up nahi karna chah raha... Hum log kal subah aayenge... Lekin abhi, mujhe aapse milna hai... Ji asap... Ok! Then meet you at CCD, in half an hour? ... Alright!
Ashutosh hung up the phone, took a quick bath & changed to meet Col. Verma...
The whole family was in the living room, When Ashutosh announced, he has some important work... And so not to wait for him over the dinner...

A: Uncle, main aapko pichle kayi saalon se jaanta hoon... Aur mera yaqeen kijiye, mere liye aap sirf Nidhi ke Baba nahin hain, Balki mere apne Baba ke samaan hain... Maine humesha aapse, apne dil ki baat rakhi hai... Sach kaha hai... Yahan tak ki, Jagan mera real brother nahi hai, ye sab bhi shadi se pehle hi aapko maaloom tha... A: Shaadi ke baad, maa-baba jab bhi Jagan ko call karte, wo Nidhi ke bare mein sab kuch achha bataata tha... Lekin, Nidhi se kabhi baat nahin karaata tha... Har baar koi na koi bahaana kar deta... Unn logo ne bhi zyada interfere nahi kiya, ye sochkar ke, nayi-nayi shaadi hui hai, kyu unki privacy ko disturb karna...
Lekin ek din, Jagan ke neighbours, Mr. & Mrs. Louis ka call aaya mere paas... Mr. Louis se meri kaafi jaan-pehchaan thi... Isliye, unke paas mera contact no.tha... Unhone mujhe bataaya, ke shayad, Jagan Nidhi ko maarta- peetta hai... Hum teeno, jaldi mein wahan pohche... ( Ashutosh started telling everything in detail, from Nidhi's condition, her miscarriage, her wounds, psychological distressness.. Her recovery & finally, their new love confession...)
CV Was devoid of any emotion...
A: Uncle aap shayad ye soch rahe honge, ke ye sab humari ghalti hai... Shaayad aap sahi hain, Humein hi iska dhyaan rakhna chahiye tha... Lekin uncle, main har mumkin koshish kar raha hoon, aur karta rahoonga, uski zindagi behtar banaane ke liye...
Main abhi aapse aapka faisla nahi pooch raha, ke aap mere aur Nidhi ke iss rishte ko accept karenge ya nahin... Aapka job hi faisla hoga, mere sir-aankhon par... Mujhe parwaah hai, toh sirf nidhi ki...
Uncle main, kal se, uske saath hoon ya na hoon, kuch cheezon ka aap please khayaal rakhiyega... Ussey, oonchi aawaaz mein, ghusse se koi baat na kare, wo bohot jaldi sehem jaati hai... Usey kam se kam rone ki wajah dijiyega, aur please, For God's sake, Main haath jodke aapse vintio karta hoon, usko hospital duty resume karne dijiyega... uske improvement ke liye, bohot hi zaroori hai...
Till then, CV was extremely quiet... Only his tension could be seen by, 4 cups of coffee on his side of the table, maybe, its helping him to swallow, the harsh realities of life, that his daughter faced & now this relation... All he said, was to meet tomorrow, at 11 am, at hgis house, with his parents & Nidhi... After finally touching his feet, Ashu drove his car, back to his home...
Silently, had his Dinner & got back to his room...
Spending the night was a hefty affair... Separation this time, was unbearable to him... But, he felt helplessness, he cannot force her parents for this... After all, whose parents would again give their daughter, to a family, whose another boy, had earlier done, all the bad, that could be done, to their girl... But, how can he let Go off his love... Not this time... But what to do?

Changing his positions constantly, while lying, ashutosh gave up sleeping & decided to go to the living room, where he found, an equally tensed Nidhi lying on the couch, try watching T.V. on a mute... Ashutosh came & sat next to her on the other couch...

N: Aap? Aap soye nahin? Neend nahi aa rahi?
A: No Nidhi, neend nahi aa rahi... Tum kyu nahin soyi?
N: Time zone prolb... problem... Aur phir thodi ghabraahat ho rahi thi, ye sochke, ke kal kya hoga... Baba aur DB kaise react karenge... Kya wo humein accept karenge Dr. Ashutosh?
A: (Ashu shrugged his shoulders) Pata nahin Nidhi, main sach mein nahi jaanta, ke unka kya faisla hoga...
Khair, unka jo bhi faisla ho, lein, I wanna tell you- Nidhi, I love you, & will love forever... You know that, don't you?

DB was clearly in a bad mood, CV had told her everything... The Mathurs were sitting infront of them, in anticipation of their decision...
Db: (Suppressing her anger, & in as calmly as she could) Nidhi, jaa, tu apne kamre mein jaa... Main abhi teri koi shadi nahi karwa rahi... Hargiz nahin...
