Chaitanya: The new lover boy? | ||
Chaitanya Chaudhry's honest act as Akshat in Kahiin To Hoga made him a household name. Now, the actor is all geared up to enact a love struck hero, in not one but two serials - Ankhiyon Ke Jharokon Se and an untitled project backed by 20th Century Fox. We caught up with Chaitanya while he was busy packing his bags for a shooting schedule. "I'll am just off to Panchgani. We're commencing the shoot for 20th Century Fox's afternoon soap which is a love story," he said gushing with excitement. Though refusing to divulge further details about this new show, Chaitanya tactfully shifts topic to his BAG Films soap, Ankhiyon… "It's been nine months since we have shot for it. Finally the show has managed to bag a primetime slot on Star One." As the buzz goes, Ankhiyon…. is a weekly 26 episode series about a small town boy who falls in love with a blind girl." I play a very simple guy whose parents think he's no good. There are two sub plots in the serial. On the one hand, he tries to prove himself against all odds and the second where he falls in love with a blind girl." Looks like Chaitanya is not deterred by the fact that Ankhiyoke took a long time to see a day. "That's a part and parcel of any actor's job. And it's been great working with BAG films." On being queried about Sahara One's Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye, which apparently might be bumped off; Chaitanya chose not to respond. As for now his plate is full. "It's easy for me for manage two shows since they both are with Star. And looks like love stories work for me," is his sign-off note! http://us.tellychakkar.com/y2k7/apr/4apr/news_chaitanya.php Why should Uday be bumped off? If this happens, I see danger for Yuvi... he will end up getting framed for it, because obviously he was the ONLY enemy Uday ever had One solace is that Krishna knows about an ememy lurking around the Raichands. |
