The show lacks content concerning the lead couple. Aside from a few cliché romantic scenes there's really nothing to show. Krishna has no dreams or aspirations. She is busy being naukrani & vying for Daniah position or trying to people please. There's nothing more to Krishna. Arya is confused & has daddy issues. But they don't have any real issues between them aside from a forced marriage ...which really wasn't that forced.
The promos need to focus on Mohan more. That's the issue and focus of the show
@italics: Seeing how people were reacting to a simple Pride march scene in show with "Bachchon par bura asar" dialogues, I can understand why the makers do not want to focus on Mohan in their promos.
Just going through the so-called-educated-and-privileged people's reactions in internet, we can understand, how the majority of the ITV audience will react if Mohan was given given the centerstage.
The creatives are already taking a great risk by introducing such unconventional topic. And Kudos to them. So I can understand them, covering this topic with an attractive pair who has nice on-screen chemistry.
In ITV and almost all fiction, ROMANCE ALWAYS SELLS.
But they did not have time to develop the the romance properly. Let me explain
@bold: Yes, Aryaman and Krishna are stuck in the forever stalemate. They can adjust this with some cute scenes here and there for some time but they will soon loose the other audience too if they continue the romance without any substance.
Everyone here agrees that the wedding was way too fast. It must have been a reaction to the low TRPs.
Krishna and Mohan need much more time to deal with his truth. The wedding should have happened when Krishna would have at least been somewhat open to Mohan's truth. There should have been some time to process this.
But of course, with such low TRP, they fast-forwarded the wedding.
And now we have Krishna , who have no idea about what to do with her brother, no idea about the marriage, no idea about future.
we also got a more aggressive, open, and vocal Mohan after coming to Mumbai.
Aryaman is in same boat as of Krishna regarding the marriage. They both are respecting each other's feelings and freedom while developing soft spots regarding the other.
This constant stalemate would stop when Krishna will finally understand Mohan's truth and choose to support Mohan instead of continuing the marriage.
@green: OH please!! Most of the ITV FL's dreams and aspirations are forgotten after the marriage. So I am not bothered about that. But I am crying everyday that Krishna is not even THINKING of getting a job.
One another way to stop this stalemate between the couple would have been growing the characters as individuals which would have happened if they interacted with outside world.
Make Aryaman go to work and face Kundan's discrimination. Make him fight for his forgiveness. Let us see the businessman he was praised for. Show his diplomatic tactics to circumvent Kundan's ire.
Make Krishna go out and struggle to find a job with her low education qualifications. Make her interact with many people and understand other people. Show us how she finds a solution. Show us how she manages her personal life and professional life.
