I was just randomly thinking about this show...

Mohan always said that if their mother was alive, then she wouldn't have any trouble accepting him as he is.

But as Krishna said, they were kids... At that time their mother must not have thought of it that seriously.

We used to make our baby brothers wear our old frocks and ghaghras just for fun.

Was it possible that Mohan's mother must have thought that was just children having Fun.

In the flashback it didn't look like she thought about it that seriously when Mohan wanted to wear Krishna's dress. She just laughed.

There are many real mothers who cannot accept the truth about their children regarding the child's sexuality or gender identity.

But some mothers really accept their children and support them even if they couldn't understand them

So Mohan's mother would have accepted him?

I don't think Mohan's mother would have accepted his truth.

Idk if its just my imagination but i kinda felt she already knew about Mohan. When she was dying her words made me think so. She said something like Mohan is very unique and asked Krishna to promise that behen banke nahi ek maa banke Mohan ka khayal rakhna something meaning a sister may not be so open minded but a mom would mostly choose her child's happiness over everything else. Idk I maybe completely wrong but just my assumption

I don't think Mohan's mother would have accepted him being a trans easily too but it would have been easier for Mohan to make her understand for sure.

At least she wouldn't have been against to Mohan's liking as a mother I feel. Now Krishna has a responsibility she feels whatever Mohan is doing is because of her that's the reason they are going hard.

At first even I thought of that.. But then that flashback where she is sweetly laughing at Mohan's wish for wearing Krishna's dress makes me wonder.

What if the Mother just intended Krishna to take care of Mohan because of how delicate he is compared to other kids. Maybe because it was directed towards Krishna, I feel like she didn't know much. She knew what her husband was like, if she actually knew Mohan's truth, she would have been scared that if her husband knew, then her kid would not survive. She would have said something to Mohan on her death bed. Maybe she would have advised to accept a facade, or consoled him and given him strength to stand with truth. depending on her bravery.

But she just asked Krishna to care for Mohan like a mother..

I don't know.. It feels she didn't know.. but was more worried about him.

I guess she may not have exactly realised what trans means, but I guess she did notice Mohan is attracted to feminine things, and the father and cousins might target them for being weak, hence asked Krishna to be their saviour.
