"I like my space but am open with the people
whom I am close to"

-Eijaz Khan

Handsome, deep cleft on his chin and a charming smile that's our Eijaz Khan, One of the newest heartthrobs to come out of the Balaji camp, who played Mr. Nice-guy Varun in Kahin To Hoga and is now playing Abhinav Pandey in Kesar, Sohan in Kkusum and Arjun in Kkoi Dil Mein Hai. Eijaz also worked in movies like Maine Dil Tujhko Diya with Sohail Khan and Kuch Na kaho with Aishwarya and Abhishek. Typical Virgo, born on August 28th is a very hard working guy. Presently he is one of the busiest actors who keeps hopping from one Balaji's set to the other.

He did his schooling in Our Lady Of Perpetual Succour in Chembur and always wanted to do something different in his life. Initially he worked with ICICI bank for a market survey job. But to do something different in life landed him, in the field of acting. He did ads like Chloromint and Breeze. After that he joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting classes. During that time he dislocated his shoulder during a fight sequence and had to undergo rehabilitation. Unfortunately he hurt himself again, the bitter side being the same shoulder and took a leave from the acting and modeling career for nearly about two and half years. It has been nearly one and half year now that he is back in action. His association with Balaji has been a year old now and since then there is no looking back. He is climbing the ladder of success day by day.

A few months back he would be waiting on the sets for several hours to give only one shot. Today he spends days and nights on the sets sometimes his senior artist wait for him to come. Eijaz feels people recognize them by their character name. Doing different roles is a rewarding experience, but it also has lot of downfalls at the same time. Narrating himself he says, "I like my space but am open with the people whom I am close to." He says he is more close to the character of Varun from Kahin to hoga but he left the serial because his other shows were getting neglected. He says, "I would literally live on the sets. The Vanity Fair vans had become like my mobile house".

He says, "What you see on screen is completely different from the amount of hard work that one puts in. Most of the scenes we are made to do require lot of physical and mental stamina. It's no joke to do more than one show at a time; it does take its toll on you some time. Also, doing different roles is a rewarding experience, but it also has lot of downfalls at the same time. " Kesar's story is similar to that of Pardes where he plays Abhinav Pandey, who is practical and working only for money. His role is the same as that of Shahrukh, who helps the leading lady in difficult situations. In Kkoi Dil mein hain initially he played a negative role but after some time he had been given a positive shade to it. This serial made lots of changes in his character and he enjoys it a lot. He is also working in Kkusum as Sohan, who is a lawyer and very close to Kkusum.

Right now he is enjoying the character a lot. In the present scenario you can see this young lad on the Balaji sets more than in his own house. He has also rubbed his shoulders with Sohail Khan and Sameera Reddy in Maine Dil Tujhko Diya and with Aishwarya and Abhishek with Kuch Na Kaho. He also did some dance numbers in some of the movies and albums. If given a chance he is ready to opt for full time work in movies but presently is too busy with Ekta's projects. Eijaz feels Ekta is the ladder for his success. Today Balaji is the one camp with whom all the big stars of cinema want to work with. He feels everyone will come to know about him soon as a big star of both medium.
