yeah that was nice but i loved the part in which Kabir said main ab kismat ko mujhe se khelnay nahi doonga Jayant says Kabir Mubarak Khan and Kabir replies woh nawab hai to Nawab Kabir Mubarak Han bolo this was actually my fave scene

i didn't really understand kabir's logic behind his reason to not form any relationship with his father...yea it would take time..but to say that they should pretend like they never met?🤔

btw he never thanked him for bailing him out.😕

respect his character all the more for it... wants to establish his own identity and secondly not sure of motives and maybe does not want to interfere in his existing lifestyle with wife and 3 kids and could be taken to be greedy. appreciated the name and the roots but if he has managed on his own and come so far, why take help now at this stage and everything will get washed away,... wont be a self made man anymore to get even....my thoughts

normal with adopted kids, whose natural parents show up and they choose to stay with status quo as they were not there for them, when they were most needed, be it by chance or choice..

love the badima... sapna;... am dynamics.... she is truly his match

I love this show to death!! Me a die hard fan of all YRF shows.. n have never ever missed any of them... They r definitely like a fresh air, Kismat is also not an exception!!

But for da first time, i m finding certain points in a YRF show, on which i m not convinced!!

1. Kabir's behaviour wid Mubarak Khan.. I absolutely adore Kabir's character, no second thought on that but i didnt like da way he behaved wid Mubarak Khan!!

@ Prernacda - Wat u r saying is exactly rite!! they should have mentioned those points like he wants to do something on his own n not just being Mubarak's son n that is da reason he doesnt wanna be wid Mubarak!! that would have been convincing!! 👍🏼

But watever Kabir said to his dad for not being wid him was not digestible!! 🤔 i mean he said that for da entire life he has seen Dads holding hands of kids, showing them way n all that!! but if u look at it, he has even seen da worst scenario!! say for example, Gunavanti's husband!! he was da worst father ever!!

So wat was Mubarak's fault in that?? He did all his best to know about Kabir's where abouts!!! 😕

Rather they should have shown it in a way Prerna said or other way out was - Kabir accepting Mubarak at da first place n then he realises about his terrorist activities, & then he leaves him!!

2. Aditya - A hard core business man like Aditya who even used to collect compound interest on money lent in his school days, falls for a gal at a very first sight n forgets everything about business!! 😲 i know love is blind n all that, but practically its not possible at all for a business minded person!! He even didnt listen to his uncle Vish!! (in a sweeter tone tough) 😒

Rather than falling for her charm, i would have loved if he was impressed wid her business intelligence n then for her beauty!! I really didnt like that at all!!

3. Gayatri Merchant - OMG!! wat a lady!! i simply love her persona!! but i definitely hate her behaviour wid Mini!! I mean da same lady is totally different wid her grand son n grand daughter!! 😕 I feel she is rude wid her only coz she is a girl child!! i know this used to happen in that time, but Merchants r a well educated family, such behaviour is unacceptable from her!!!

She finds every single thing related to Mini annoying!! but if Aditya falls for Sapna, forgets every thing about business, she is pretty fine wid it!! 👎🏼

lol!!! i just realised i wrote sooooo many things, so stopping now finally!! 😆

P.S. This is just my opinion, having said all this, i still love this show n i know i ll be glued to da show forever for its excellent treatment n wonderful actors.. 👏

@charu-- you know what I was thinking the same that Kabir would have accepted his father for the moment for now but when he sees that his father in involved in terrorism and acts against the nation where he (kabir) was born, he would be disgusted and thus break off all the ties. and by "accepting" his father right now, i meant that he doesn't live in his house...but atleast shares some rapport with the man.
but anyhow, it seems that what prerna said is true in this case.

@ARM and Sapna and Grandmum---😆 The guy's bowled over at her and lol interesting thing is that unlike his father, who had fallen for his mother (who, according to his grandmom, was from lower class than the Merchant's and had low IQ and no business sense), Sapna seems to be everything grandmum would have wished to be in her grandson's wife.😆

thanks for replying.... and what you said rang true about treatment of the 2 grandchildren.... old fashioned grandmothers are always more biased to grandsons than granddaughters and i see my mom too (who is very modern and lived abroad but...) different with both of my kids, and have scolded her so many times on it..... but she loves my daughter equally and is closer to her and trusts her more and my daughter will listen more to her and help her, more than me ... but I think the previous generation mothers did not have it easy themselves, so they have way higher expectations of the daughters, than the sons, and maybe in their convoluted loving way, they want to make us tougher.....they know, no matter what and how educated and successful we are, we will be expected to do more, have more stringent behaviour parameters and our demeanour observed more closely. a whole new topic for another day.

As far as gayatri goes, i absolutely love her role, she is classy and snobbish but i think she has had enough of mrinalini and her manipulative street girl habits. so maybe more rude and obnoxious with her.... both of them are set in their ways....and what she did and then tried to look at the innocent party....she calls a spade a spade and for her the Merchant last name is sacramental and only for the best and people who meet her expectations, so mini is out and sapna, cultured, educated and smart and shrewd like AJM comes close enough. If she managed to get his attention, there is more substance to her than devika, and she did respect her good qualities...

food for thought.... loved jeffrey archer and love their interpretation, with the indian masala....

A merchant, good to know that there is somewhat of a heart in the background of his ATM machine....😆

kabir is pretty independent and does not want to be obligated to anyone. Could have worded it differently, ... too much water under the bridge and until he finds his own identity on his own, without any help, (unlike AM, who was born in the lap ofluxury and had a head start.)...he is too set in his ways.... I am sure if his father truly loves him, he will win him over, but forcing him will distance him more.... plus the woman behind the curtain... that he kept glancing at.... he is not sure if he is welcome by the whole family or just his dad.... You have to remember that his uncle in childhood wanted him to stay and loved him, but his wife... hung up and refused to help him out.... Vulnerable,..... Dhoodh ka jala.....afraid to put himself in a similiar vulnerable position again......
