I like to believe there was no partiality...but but but...π
As Ravi correctly quoted Nia might have handled it better, it could be true.
But the reason due to which the seed of doubt got planted in boys' mind was NOT BASELESS.
It is not because Nia did it faster but because of the way she was easily standing taking support of the bar that was sending shock waves and she didn't even flinch. No offense to her, she deserves full credit. If it was really hurting her, she would have retreated back immediately, which she didn't. Yes, she could have better endurance and may be less nervous than Rithik that allowed her to stay longer.
However, we must not forget a fact that all healthy human bodies have more or less same capacity to bear electric shocks. A better mentality and confidence can prolong the one to tolerate it more, but only up to a certain limit. Having said that, there was no way Ritwik was super nervous nor Nia was super confident to bear shocks with such an ease and finish with such a great time difference.
On the top of that, Rohit's statement in Nia's defense was totally out of sync. At one point, he said he was gonna shut the current off if Nia had not stopped. Oh man, come on. Nia or any other person, for that matter, is more cautious of her own well being than you. She would feel massive pain if it was so dangerous, and stopped before he could do anything which was clearly not the case.
Comparing with Niketan and Daya was also not relevant. Niketan was little sensitive from whatever I have seen, so him screaming is not surprising. At the same time, Daya, the Everest of endurance, would not reveal any troublesome feeling even if you give him 10 stabs. (oh, boy a lil exaggeration ππ but I hope you got my point). Ritwik has never showed off any OTT drama, fake tears, unnecessary screaming uptil now, and it''s not possible he was screaming for showing off.
Rohit's reprimanding to Boys stating that their accusations are lowering Nia's win, was clearly to save his and the show's skin. Boys had already mentioned that it has nothing to do with Nia. Looked like Rohit and colors had no better supporting statement.
He should have mentioned how much current they were using? and how much time a human body can bear etc...Logial facts were clearly missing that looked the whole explanation deceptive to me.
Pls share your opinions.
