Rajniesh or as his friends call him - RD, has always been an all rounder who excelled in sports and studies. he has always been in love with cars, luxury, films and ofcourse family.He did his schooling from Don Bosco School, Delhi.
During his school days, RD had dreams of joining the army, as his maternal family were all in the defense services. Life had other plans for him though . He went on to doing a Bachelors in Business Administration(B.B.A.Hons.) from Apeejay School of Management, Delhi and B.COM from the Delhi University simultaneously. Throughout his college days he use to work half day as an employee in his father's office, trading in bearings and transmission gears. Its during this time that he happened to be attending a wedding where Rashmi Virmani, an ace Fashion choreographer from Delhi was also present. She met him and suggested that he must give modelling a shot and from there on, there was no looking back.
He did more than 150 shows in a span of one year, with all the biggest names in the fashion/commercial industry, hence decided to take part in the prestigious Grasim Mr. India contest in 2003. He further polished his vocational skills with Mr. Shamshir Rai Luthra.
In July 2007, RD met Vikram Bhatt and signed a three - film deal with ASA Films. first film - 1920', released in September 2008, and his work was appreciated a lot .The biggest boost for him was that even before his first film released he had started work on his second film - Phhir .
His next was a big 3D film by Vikram Bhatt - "Dangerous Ishhq".
RD essayed the role of RAM in RAM LEELA - Ajay Devgn ke saath - India's first musical Extravaganza/Broadway which was televised on LifeOK and produced by Wizcraft and had some of the biggest names involved - Choreography(REMO), Theatre(Darshan Zariwala), Music(Swanand Kirkire/ Anu Mallik), Set Designing(Omung Kumar) and Direction(Aswin Sen)..
