I am not a Nikki fan but she was in the show just because she had already signed up for it.

Her brother had passed away and in such situation usually you wont have the mental strength to totally be involved in the task. She needed that mental peace and maybe she was trying to find it. She might have not showed it but the pain is always there.

She should have prepared herself well knowing what she is signing for. 👎🏼
