Till now in the episodes of the serial Rabba Ishq Na Hove being telecast you (as Vivaan) have been shown in grey shades. What would you like to say about the future your character? Nikkhil Arya > To keep your interest involved I wouldn't like to divulge the story. All that I would like to say here, you are in for some great surprises in the (forthcoming episodes of the) serial. Ranjan > Hi Nikhil. Is it true that you are sought by serial makers to shoot up the TRPs of their show? Why do you think audience prefers you? Is that why Ektaa took you on to play "Rahul Singhania" in Kahiin Toh Hoga? Nikkhil Arya > It's extremely flattering to know that I have the ability to affect the TRPs positively. But all I'd like to say is that every new role that I am offered to play, I give my 100 percent and the fate of the TRPs is in the hands of kind n sweet people like you. Shruti > What are your personal views about love? Nikkhil Arya > My personal views about love is that one is extremely fortunate if he can experience true love in his life. According to me, 90 percent of the people die without experiencing true love. So if you have true love in your life, just value it and grab (it) with both hands. Tina > Hi Nikkhil! I'm Tina, a HUGE fan of yours. I am writing from the Philippines (I am Indian). I really love your character, "Rudra" in the serial, Kesar . I never miss an episode because of you. You have portrayed the character so well that I can't imagine anyone else in it. I must say that you are a very fine and good-looking actor and have definitely proved wrong the notion that models can't act. Anyway, what are your future plans? Do you plan to get into films, direction etc? Which director or co-star would you like to work with? Which role would you like to play? Nikkhil Arya > Thanks a lot Tina. Keep watching me and keep liking me. Till date, I haven't ever thought of my future. I take each day as it comes. To say that I don't want to do films would be a lie but since, with God's grace I have got great response and have been respected for my work and acting. I wouldn't like to jump on to (just) any offer and be a one-film wonder. Talking about the present, I am completely enjoying working with my new co-star (Sangita Ghosh). In terms of future, I would love to work with Rani Mukherjee and greatly admire Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mani Ratnam as a director. I love the role Amitabh Bachchan played in the film, Trishul . Nina > Hi! I'm Nina, a big fan of yours! You're from Pune, right? Where in Pune do you live? And how often do you go home? Are you the only child or do you have siblings? Are you really close to your family? (Don't worry I won't stalk you...:o) I do not live in India.) Nikkhil Arya > Hi Nina. Yes, I am from Pune and I live at Kalyani Nagar in Pune. I am extremely close to my family. There is nothing good or bad that I do without keeping the interest of my family in mind. I have an older sister who is a dentist. She is married and lives in the US. Well, ever since I have started my new serial Rabba..... it's been about over two months already that I visited Pune, and this is the first time that there has been a gap over a month. Kashish > Do you have any plans to get married in the near future? Tell us honestly please. Do you have a girlfriend? On a website I saw pictures of you and Nisha Rawal ("Binita" in Kesar ) taken at a beach, a few weeks back.... Nikkhil Arya > No, I am not seeing anyone at this point of time and I haven't thought about the future in terms of marriage. I think both (Nisha and I) of us would have a big laugh on this, as we are good friends. Shilpa_kot > Hey your expressions in Rabba ..... is great. How would you react in real life? Same way? Nikkhil Arya > Well, I just pray no one goes through what I go through in the serial. But in real life I wouldn't react completely that way but probably a millionaire kid would. Haram > Hey I wanna know - do you have any plans to visit Pakistan? Ejaz Khan who acted with you in Kesar says he doesn't like the character "Kesar" because she has a lot of attitude problems. What do you say? Nikkhil Arya > Thank so much for the message. I have received an over whelming response from Pakistan, which is very encouraging. I cannot comment on what Ejaz has to say about her. All I'd like to say that she is a very nice person and I don't think that way about her. The first opportunity I get, I will definitely come to Pakistan. Hermione > You were great as "Rahul Singhania" in Kahiin To Hoga (KTH). Will you be making a come back in that serial? TRPs of the show went up when you made the entry in it... Nikkhil Arya > Firstly, thanks so much for the compliment. My role in KTH was meant to be a cameo and the producers were keen on extending the role after the TRPs rose. But after listening to the story I thought I wouldn't affect it the way I wanted it to. Mysterie > Is it true that your last name is 'Saklani' and you changed it to 'Arya'? I read that in an article. Why did you change it? Nikkhil Arya > I still repent that I changed my surname which was actually "Sakhrani." There are two reasons for it. One, my mom believes in numerology and anything to make her happy (so I changed my surname). And secondly, people also thought that it made a better screen name. Lamhe > Are you seeing anyone? Describe your dream girl. Out of the stars and models present today in India and abroad who do you crave for the most? Nikkhil Arya > No, I am not seeing anyone and I don't crave for anyone either. From the acting perspective, I respect Rani Mukherjee for the work she is doing. I don't believe in making a preconceived format of a dream girl because I do think that love just happens and can happen with someone who is completely the opposite of what you dreamt. Cool_dude > Is it true that you had a fight with the producer of Kesar ? Why did you guys fight? And if it's not true then how did the rumour get around? Do you have a hot temper or now that you are successful it has gone to your head? Nikkhil Arya > When the Raba Isq Na Hove unit was contacted they were actually in splits laughing (joined by Sangita Ghosh) saying – "Nikhil you and a hot temper, cant believe it. It's been three months that you have made us only laugh non -stop. This is news to us." Secondly, yes I did lose my cool that day but it was because the unit was very indisciplined and we could not concentrate on work. But hey, in my whole life I have never raised my hand on a man, woman or animal. By the way, it wasn't the producer it was the assistant executive producer that I gave a peace of my mind to. Indira menon > Nikhil, would you mind giving your email id to your fans please? What are your hobbies, favourite cuisine, lifestyle? When is your birthday? Nikkhil Arya > I wouldn't mind at all. But you guys will be disappointed, as I cannot reply back, knowing my schedules. But it's [email protected] . Birthday is on 17th December; hobbies -love travelling. Favourite cuisine- Maa Ke Haath Ka Khana (home cooked food by mom). Lifestyle - work 24/7. Aashu > Hey, you have unconventional looks. Do you think this is one of the reasons for your success? Nikkhil Arya > As far as my looks go, it's none of my contribution. God has been kind but yes whatever I have got I try to complement with the way I act, and the combination has been relatively successful.
