Slamdog Millionaire was lot criticised for selling Indian poverty.. what is KBC doing? Supporting poor is fine but filming the episode.. asking the lady to enact the crying scene when her husband died.. what kind of culture it is?
How low the channels would go to gain TRP!!

I think this Season of KBC is too scripted. If u see they are bringing in people from smaller towns and trying to make it jucier to attract people. Also this season of KBC seems to be having more women candidates. They are all talking about auditions, so at that time they might be choosing people whose background they can highlight to bring in m;ore viewers

Why not? Here we can see people from the interiors where there is no proper electricity, water etc. Where are the area polititians. @#(&@#^

The objection is because they did not advertise that this show is for only poor, under privileged sections whose poverty can be sold for TRP. Once you declare it and do it- is is OK. However, it is not fine to say it is open for all when it is clearly not..

I am very glad that so many people have made money on the show which meant a lot to them and hope for a better life and channel making money . What can be better than that. I love this season of KBC most.

I am glad they are helping poors, otherwise all serials are demoralising our culture for sake of TRPs. Here they are atleast helping someone even if that is too raise viewership.
I am somettimes scared how they are living with everything inflating these days. Like the guy who earned 115 RS for family of four that too elderly ones, one doctor trip is much more than that..
Amitabh Ji is doing such great job in making them comfortable in their own skin. I love this season the best...

In a way it's good to see some poor people benefiting. but at times I feel it's all scripted. I see some people who can hardly speak or who seem to have very poor general knowledge winning 25 lakh. I may be a middle class person and may not be in deep financial crisis or have a tragedy in my life. But I would like to try my luck too...winning a few lakhs will mean a lot to me.I am not against them winning...but it's the manner in which they dramatise their poverty. In the middle of the show Bachchan sir asks a very personal question and the person on hot seat and his family - all start sobbing and we hear a sad music in the background. This is getting a bit too much. I have always been a fan of Bachchan sir and the show. I have been trying to get onto the show too...but now i feel only people who have sob stories will get an opportunity.
