KA i was nt sure to start the show.. knowing the theme... its nt my cup of tea... but one f my friend (Chinnu) pushed me to watch... seriously wat a show.... nt for the story... but for the performance... the way writers brought life to the characters.. how they keeping it maximum to real (not every point 🤪) ...

Epsd 1-17 is Katha her life... her character build up... i must say... Aditi just rocked it.... kyaa performance thaa.... spcly the breakdown scene... helpless mother running for mother... even aftr multiple rejection goin to Mr Kailash garewal for money.... everything is connectable... Aditi did her part well in these episodes... kudos to her 👏👏

From 18 Epsd its Viaan time.... his character started coming out .. from the BOSS... Women Hatred Viaan to the Viaan who he is... Adaan is giving his best... dammn... even knowing he s soooooooo WRONG feeling bad for him.... just one mistake.... he is trapped inside the web of guilt somewhere his innerself told he is doin wrong... but his practical mind made him K is gold digger prove it...n go for it.... if we started to judge.... who is wrong... is Viaan wrong... yes he is... no man hav rights to insult or take advantage of a woman.... is he really wrong... no he is not... he gave many chances for K to back off... open up.... still WRONG is WRONG... and ths unforgiveable matter... with one black night his life turned upside down.. his conscience question him badly.... he is trying to break the web and come out... but he is getting more tangled and tangled....

Finally he come to know Y K needed money.... y she was being despo to get hold of money.... Viaan world crashed down...... his earth splitted to eat him up in whole..... Now What????????

in this scene (yesterday episode).... i was mesmerized the way Adaan showed his nerve breakdown.... i have seen normal break down... disappointment break down... etc... but this nerve break down only heard.... but seen in Viaan ystrday.... was watching again and again (hmm im nt saddist.... just was cheking the way he performed 🤓) in short.... his soul gone.... with one line... "Katha is single mother, who bravely fought and saved her son " everything now clear and transparent for Viaan... Now how he goin to earn forgiveness..... ????? waiiting to see....

precap... loved it.... K reaction on learning V learnt the secret...... V learnt whom she is.... V learnt his mistake..... Now what???? willl K able to give a chance ....... waiting.....

From promo posted in previous posts... it seems K will b back to Earth con....

wat ever its very rare to see real touch stories in ITV.... keeping the theme and goin with not too much drama..... showing wat necessary.... saying wat is required..... Good Show....

I wish. The only way that will happen is if Viaan tells everyone he gave the money. Let's see how and when everyone will find out cause ONS is pretty taboo as per Indian standards.

seriuosly no -- click bait types. 😆. I read an article that european audiences are also reacting well the drama and it has a buzz online. so apparently they are seeing it on streaming platforms. fingers crossed, the arabic version pops up in netflix or prime. I like that actor playing ML in the arabic version. he does very well playing dark characters. plus all the versions seem to be going for different flavours and interpretations, so it will seem fresh even though we know the basic outline of the story😆

Ek din ki bhi shanti nahi. Now this question will raise again and again. When she needed that money,noone came forward to help her. But now everyone has the audacity to know how she arranged that much money.😡sadly we live in a society where women will be judged for their every single action.

I also agree Viaan did a mistake, not a small one.bahut bada wala mistake kiya hei. But he is not a criminal. Atleast he has the guts to accept his mistake. yahan toh log saat khoon karke nikal jaate hei. I will always support Katha and Viaan for their actions.

I think they didn't show the attraction on purpose. so there are cultural differences as well as producer differences in approach of the drama. we can see that in the title.

the original is titled 1000 nights. so the drama was focused on the ML's pain and twisted view of the world and how he changes after that night. he is the anti-hero and so they didn't shy away from showing his attraction because the night is central to everything.

in the arabic version, the title means "the price". I thought that was really interesting. immediately the title gives me a sense of this world where nothing is free and you have to pay for what you want. there is no free lunch. so it makes sense why the ML would be shown having some attraction towards her. even the monologue in the beginning showed his world view -- that love is nothing but a game but really a project for the woman to get what she wants. so basically if you want love, you need to pay. there is a price. so he pays for her time.

the hindi version is titled "katha ankahee" - the title immediately tells you the focus is on katha. not the night. not the ML. not this bitter capitalist tye view of the world. no, it is about katha, her struggles, her pain. because of this, we got a lot about her in the initial episodes. we still don't know what has shaped viaan and all the things about him. this is about her struggles and what she did out of mother's love. so if they put in viaan being attracted to her, it would have appeared sleazy and adding to her pain. people would have rejected viaan.

Exactly. This is what I also mentioned in one of my earlier post. In context of the show being aired in Indian TV, audience will not be able to connect to Viaan, if they show him attracted to her and stalking her like a teenager. He is some 30+ old as Viaan. And they need a driving force for both these extreme end characters to come together and fall in love for the story to move forward. That is where guilt plays a role.

Guilt is something which will not let you live in peace, till the time you get forgiveness from yourself and the person you have wronged. Here Viaan has to forgive himself, and seek her forgiveness and in the process both of them get to know each other develop feelings for each other. If they take guilt route, Viaan as a lead will be accepted by audience and Katha will make a place in their mind as a single struggling mother.

To me, Indian makers are taking the right route so that we can connect to both the leads

PS: They have to stretch this repentance track a little, as if they show she forgiving so easily, it won't sit well with audience. Her modesty has been violated by him (even with her consent also), so he has to put that extra efforts to make things right

I still can't get over from last night's episode. It was such a power paced episode. Last night twitter was also on fire.😆 itna heavy discussions😆

One thing i wanna tell that i really like the way Katha always mentions Adi's(her husband) name. It shows she had a good life with her husband and had such nice memories to cheer up for whole life. She just wants to live with those memories and Adi's nishani her monkey Aarav.😊

yahan pe Viaan kaise fit hoga. He will have a tough time. What you think guys?
