One of my fav scenes from Last night's episode. Viaan was still investigating and thinking about how he missed so many clues.😆 he would have helped Katha. missed the opportunities. Chaaa.😆

Oh God.. this one is hilarious.
Now we have officially moved on from One cr 2 L 17 thousands to WOH RAAT. 😎
Hi Guys. It was a very sweet and balanced episode. I am happy that they are balancing SS for all the characters.
A worried Indian mother, Katha trying to get her son admitted to the best school, that too in the mid academic year. I know this is ITV and he will get admission. But in real life, it is not possible at any cost, at least in Bangalore. But I enjoyed Katha- Aarav-Dodo-Principal scenes. And monkey man is now a school student. Thanks to home schooling by his super mom. Aarav did pass with flying colours. Now we know Aarav is good in Maths, science, social science and languages.
But it was heart warming to listening to Katha about having a cancer patient at home, and how they managed and did not stop living.
Viaan researching on cancer and translation was really funny. My son does this for every other thing, daily maybe 50 times. If you think deeply, its not easy to have a cancer patient at home and put up a brave face. That too here her own small child is suffering. Viaan did connect all the dots and his FBs were great. The man child is growing and learning
Viaan-Ehsan convo was really good. Ehsan was trying to make him feel that it's fine as now her son s fine. He is really a good human. I don't want him to turn to grey or vile. Ehsan was the first one to think how did she manage money, and Viaan jumped in to answer Banks. It looked odd. But you can see he is being protective of her. First little baby step in the relationship (just forget about the night) is that you feel protective of the other person.
PapaG-MamaG-Reet convo was good. Reet is a real red flag. Be cautious. MamaG and her reply to reet was great. Reet is the second person who thought of 1 Cr. And PapaG has silenced her. PapaG has been whitewashed 80%, by the party and rest will be done by Katha in next episode. I am disappointed.
But I am happy with his dialogue, hum to criminals ho gaye.... hamare kuch na karne se kya hota....Ek maa apne bete ko bachane keliye kisi bhi hadh tak jaa sakta hai. Sab jayaz hai....👍🏼👍🏼
PapaG and his FBs were good. He is regretting his own words. Good for him.
Katha finally came to EarthCon, and her convo with Jeetu Bhai was good. I really did not understand why she said, khud pe bharosa tha isliye kisiko kuch bataya nahi. I really don't know what Katha must have done, had there been no ONS offer from Viaan, instead he just said No to her loan request. How she would have saved Aarav?
Anyway, we get to hear some office talk, some sympathisers, and pre cap says Katha stays for saving Project Dubai and EarthCon
PS: Two dialogues I loved the most are
Viaan: We lost her, but she won
PapaG: Aarav ki mummy akeli ladi bhi aur jeeti bhi. aur hum sabko usne hara bhi diya, aur jita bhi diya
Same situation both are in: but the thought process are different. I love how they show parallels with papaG and Viaan

He will be a protector and provider, whereas Katha is not the type of woman who needs a protector and provider. It will be really interesting to see how these two end up together
Agree with everything you said. I love how the story is developing. After watching yesterday’s episode it reminded me of an onions layer being removed for each episode. Each time we get to see another layer of the characters.
I’m glad that Katha has made peace with Papa even if she does forgive him. At least Aarav gets all his extended family’s love and does not feel he is going against his mum. Kids can always tell if their mother is not liked by someone.
As usual you post was a delight to read🤗

The show really surprises you with different layers of each character, not only leads, but we get to see layers of side characters. And every character is showing progression. This is very close to reality
I agree that Aarav needs family love and care, yet PapaG and his harsh words are too easily forgotten. Then it depends on if you want to hold on to grudges or to move on with life, as Mango suggested in her earlier post, its a type of conflict management strategy that Katha thought of for his present situation

Are you guys planning to finish this thread before today’s episode start 😜

.....
On a more serious note, how do you guys separate the show from your thoughts or move past it? I've said this before but I have a very busy schedule these next few months with exams, homework, work, etc. BUT all I wanna do is catch up on the show, watch BTS videos, watch edits lol... it's not good! Does anyone have any tips to not be so obsessed or addicted? To stop thinking about it lol. Will take all the advice I can get! Thanks guys!
good question -- as someone who has watched dramas for years, I would first ask "why are you watching this drama?" I think it is totally cool to love a drama but obviously there needs to be a healthy balance. are you deflecting your stress or anxieties for example by watching this drama? so are you obsessing over a drama because you don't want to think about your real lfe problems? there are many who do that. basically they get too invested in fictional characters as they feel unhappy in their real lives. it is why some fans get a bit cuckoo -- they take it personally when people criticize a FL or ML because they have identified so strongly with that character that they feel like they are personally being attacked. they are not able to separate fact from fiction.
another reason for getting too invovled is projecting our romantic hopes and desires onto a drama. so when you are feeling low about your romantic/personal life, a great ML can make you feel good. maybe they might make you feel that there is definitely a guy out there like that who will one day sweep in and give you hugs and smiles or whatever else. 😉
that is one reason at times, people get too invested in OTPs -- we are projecting our own romantic hopes and desires on to that screen couple in a way. now, there is nothing bad about hope per se but it is when it crosses unhealthy levels; where people cannot distinguish the actors from the characters they are playing, it becomes problematic.
otherwise, shipping or fangirling in limited form can be healthy. it gives you an outlet for stress. it helps you to connect with other people and have fun. it can also teach you depending on the fandom. there are some where people are so insightful that you are able to learn about relationships and life as they share different aspects and give varied perspectives. so being part of a drama community can be a great learning experience.
ultimately, I would say humour is key to know when it is healthy and when to jump off the train. if I know I am getting a bit too snappy, I know it is time to stop watching the drama and watch something else. so thats why I watch a lot of dramas at the same time -- keep balance. I also watch a lot of documentaries on history, crime and news. basically keep your viewing experience varied and know what is driving you as you watch.
like columbia shared, it also helps to keep engagement to a minimum. basically find a non-toxic platform where you are able to share and giggle in a good way. it is one reason I still don't find the need to have a birdie account. you can't have conversations or discussion when people are yelling at each other. I prefer forums like IF -- they are old fashioned but they actually function the same way interest hobbies groups do as in real life. according to research, forums are actually a healthy way to interact and can lead to good friendships.
P.S -- have started a separate thread to share bts and upcoming clips
Sony hasn't uploaded any sneak peek today.. probably thought koi jarurat nahi hai, sabko week ka plot toh pata chal chuka hai already 😆
Superb analysis👏🥳
Even i liked Katha-Aarav-Dodo's scene at school. ❤️ Aarav represents aaj ka bacha fully energetic, enthusiastic, chatter box kiddo.😆Thanks to his super mom. It's not easy for the family members when you have a cancer patient at home. It's a continuous struggle and fight for both the patient and family members.
Makers are doing a great job in balancing all the characters. They all are required to tell a good story. So far not a single character has turned out an absolute evil. I can watch happy family scenes.😆
Ehsan and Viaan's scenes are always a treat to watch. I agree with Katha, these two actually look like married couples.🤣
I loved the episode.
