Rohit Roy may not be seen on the small screen anymore, but the actor is still associated with it as a producer. Rohit and wife Manasi have set up a company that is producing a reality show. Rohit says that though he is also a part of the company, it's Manasi's baby.
She is the brain behind all the concepts that we are considering at the moment. I am just the poster boy, he laughs. While Rohit is content doing films these days, he believes that his many years of work in television industry has earned him a lot of goodwill.
I never did anything with an agenda. I am a friendly person and once I make someone my friend, I believe in keeping in touch irrespective of the standing of the person in the industry. That's the reason why when, today, I approach other actors as a producer, they are willing to listen to both Manasi and me, he says.
Rohit has recently signed two films, of which one will be directed by Karan Razdan. Rohit is eager to shoot for the second one in which he'll be acting with Mithun Chakraborty.
