A comforts P: Prerna is crying in her room. A goes there. He tells her to please open the door. After a while she finally opens the door. Anu: ye kya prerna. tum ro rahi ho. Ye he tumhara bharosa? Tumne sabit kar diya ke tumhe mujh par zara bhi bharosa nahi. Maa ki aur se me tumse maafi mangta hoon. He promises her that he will never leave her saath. She hugs him and cries. He tries to calm her down. Then he takes a tear from her face and says: Prerna ye aasoo mere liye bahot mayne rakhate he: Then they hug again.
Ap console each other: Prerna is crying a lot after Rajesh's death. Anu is with her and he is trying to comfort her. Anu: prerna, please ro mat. Sambhalo apne aap ko. Me hoon na tumhare saath. Then Anu's mobile rings. It's komolika. She tells him that moloy has slipped into coma. Anu is shocked. His eyes fill with tears and his voice starts breaking (Cez acted very well in this scene.) Pre: kya hua, Anurag. Anu: wo…baba…Pre: kya hua baba ko? Anurag bolona…kya hua babako. Anu: wo baba koma me slip ho gaye. He starts crying. Pre is shocked. Then she wipes his tears and tells him that she is with him always. They both console each other.
A very good scene. Cez and Shweta acted very well in this scene. They both looked really young and innocent…Anu's expression on finding out about moloy's coma were awesome. AP Angoothi scene:
Ap are sitting in a garden, talking about how life has changed after Moloy/rajesh accident. Anu tries to get up and scraps his finger. His finger is bleeding. Pre: Anu. Tum bhi na. Kya karte ho. Jaldi se is angoothi ko nikalo. Anu: nahi. Pre: Anurag, tumhara kitna khoon beh raha he. Anu: nahi, prerna. ye angoothi tumhara vishwas he. Me ise kabhi nahi utaroonga.
Anu-komo marriage:
Anu remembers prerna during the whole wedding. He sees her in komolika and imagines he is marrying prerna. The song played was really beautiful. Here are the lyrics:

Pre: ye tumhare Bengali riwaj bhi kitne alag he. Hum punjabiyo me to ye sab nahi hota. Anu: lekin hum shaadi Bengali riwaj se karenge. Nahi. Esa karte he hum do bar shaadi karenge. Ek baar Bengali riwaj se aur ek bar panjabi tarike se. Pre: koi zurrorat nahi he. Hum shadi ek hi bar karenge. Aur mujhe Bengali shadi karne me koi etraaz nahi he. Anu: nahi Prerna. I am really psyched about this double marriage. Esa karte he, hum Bengali rashmo se shaadi karenge. Aur agar tumhe do shaadi nahi karni he to Punjabi shaadi karne ke liye me kisi aur ko dhoondh loonga. He starts laughing. Pre gets mad: kya? Khabardar agar tumne mere siway kisi aur se shaadi ki. Me use bhi mar dalungi aur khud bhi mar jaungi.
I loved it when Anu laughed. This is the first time Anu jokes with her. It is always prerna who is doing mischiefs. Flashback:
Anu remembers this while he is doing that angoothi rasam with komo. Ap are sitting on rocks at a beach. Pre drops her ring in the water. She is searching for the ring. Anu: prerna, kya dhundh rahi ho. Pre: Anurag, wo angoothi jo tumne mujhe di thi. Wo pani me gir gayi. Anu: gir gayi? Kese? Prerna tum bhi na bikul bachcho jesi harkat karti ho. Ye koi khelne ki cheez he. Pre: ab tum mujh per chillate rahoge ya use dhoondhne me meri madad karoge? They both search for it. Finally, Anu finds it and puts it on Prerna's finger.
Prerna was like a child in those days. She used to be so bindas.
One more Flashback: Anu remembers this when everyone forces him to go on honeymoon with komo. AP are sitting again on rocks by the beach. They are talking about where they will go for honeymoon. Anu: Achha prerna tum honeymoon ke liye kaha jana chahti ho…America, London, Paris? Pre: Mujhe itni door nahi jana. Anurag honeymoon ka matalab door jana nahi hota. Balke ye do logo ko ek dusre ke paas lata he. Anu: haan to hum America me bhi to ek dusre ke paas aa sakte he na. Pre: lekin tumhe Ooti ya Shimla jane me kya problem he. Anu: dekho agar hum yahi India me rahenge aur business me koi problem aayi to ye log mujhe wapas bula lenge. Agar hum America jayenge to koi hume disturb nahi karenga. Prerna argues with him. Then a policeman comes: Are…kabse London, America, shimla laga rakha he tum dono ne…jaha jana ho waha jao na. Kabse mera sar kha rahe ho tum dono. Prerna: Are abhi to shadi kahan hui he…ye to ese hi planning chal rahi he. AP laugh.
Flashback: This is when Prerna writes her interior decoration article. Everyone praises her very much. Anu remembers a scene with prerna. He is reading Pre's patti and praises her writing. Anu: prerna…tum bahot achha likhti ho. Tumhare shabdo ka prayog, tumhara likhane ka dhang..sach much..tumne kitni achhi tarah isme apne dil ki baat likh di. Hamari shadi hone ke baad tum basu publication ke liye likhana. Pre: nahi me shaadi ke bad kam nahi karoongi. Me to ghar reh kar tumhare office se ane ka intezar karoongi. Anu: achha thik he. Lekin wada karo ke tum jab bhi likhogi hamare newspaper ke liye hi likhogi. Pre: thik he.
Moloy consoles Anu:
Moloy finds out that Anu married Komo. Moloy goes to Anu's room. Anu had fallen asleep on his chair. Moloy puts flowers in his vaas. Anu: Horida, mene aap se kitni baar kaha he ki ye phool yaha mat rakhiye. Mujhe ye pasand nahi. Aap inhe baba ke kamare me rakhiye. Moloy pats his head. Anu: are baba aap. Moloy: kyun jhooth bolta he ke ye phool tumhe nahi pasand. Anu: pasand he. Isi liye to chahata hoon ke inhe aap ke kamare me rakhe. Moloy: wese ye phool kisi ki yaad dilate he na..Me janta hoon ke ye phool tumhe, mujhe aur kisko pasand he. Anu looks away. Moloy: mujhe sab pata chal gaya he Anurag. Jante ho mere baba hamesha kaha karte the ki subha subha kisi achhe, niswarthi aadmi ka chehra dekhne se pura din khushi se guzarata he. Lekin mere baba ko kya pata tha ki unke bete ka beta esa insan nikalega. Anu is on verge of tears. Moloy goes to him and puts his hands around his shoulders. Anu: baba…and breaks down…He cries very hard and Moloy hugs him. Moloy: ro le beta …aaj me tumhe nahi rokunga. Itne dino se ye aansoo tumhare andar bhare pade the..aaj inhe beh jane de. Anu is crying really hard.
A very touching scene. Anu totally breaks down in this scene. His expressions are wonderful. Holi flashback: It is holi. Prerna and Anurag are both doing pooja at their own house. Prerna stands there with prem and remembers her last holi. AP are at Basu house. They are doing pradakshina. Pre: wo dekho anurag. Us bachche ko ashirwad ke liye yaha laye he. Lagata he ye uski pehli holi he. Anu: haan..Prerna, jab hamari shadi hogi to hum bhi apne bachche ko isi tarah yahan darshan ke liye layenge. Har saal. Prerna: har saal? Anu: haan..mujhe har saal ek bachcha chahiye. He teases Prerna. And Prerna hits him. Ohh..i love it when Anu teases her. Here is a pic of this scene.
Anu gets shot: Pre writes a controversial article. Someone threatens her and Anu goes to her office to stop her from publishing the article. Someone starts shooting. Anu tries to save Pre and gets shot twice instead. He falls on her. Prerna is totally shocked. She starts screaming his name and then she takes him to hospital. At the hospital, the Basu family go to see Anu. Moloy asks Prerna what happened. But Prerna is crying so hard. She keeps on saying that it is her fault. She will never forgive herself if something happens to Anurag.
Lol the whole time everyone is asking her where is Anu and how is he. But she keeps on crying and crying and blaming herself.
Prerna finds out that Anu supported her career:
Vineet tells Prerna that Anurag is the owner of her newspaper. Prerna is shocked. She feels guilty for blaming anurag all these times. She calls him, but can barely speak b/c she is crying so hard. She tells him to meet her. Anu goes to her office next day. Pre: Anurag, tumne esa kyun kiya. Kyun tum bar bar mujhe dhoka dete ho. Anu: Prerna mera yakeen mano. Mene tumhari press ko aag nahi lagai. Me esa kisi dushman ke sath bhi nahi karta. Phir ye to tumhara press he. Pre: Anu tum phir jhooth bol rahe ho. Aaj tak tumne mujse jhooth bola. Anu: me sach keh raha hoon prerna. agar tumhe manana he to mano. He turns to leave. Pre: nahi Anurag tumne hamesha mujse jhoot bola. Kyun nahi bataya ke ye tumhara press he? Mujhe vineet ne sab bata diya he. Anu is shocked. He turns around. Pre: haan Anurag. Mujhe sab pata chal gaya he. Kyun Anu kyun. Kyun tumne mere liye itna sab kuchh kiya aur me tumhe galat samjhati rahi. Mene tum par kitne ilzam lagaye lekin tum har waqt chup rahe. Mujhe maaf kardo Anurag. I am sorry. She starts crying really hard. Anu: dekho Prerna. please ro mat. Mene ye sab is liye kiya kyonki aaj bhi tumhare is haal ke liye me apne aap ko zinmedar samajhata hoon. Prerna dekho mene tumhari baat ka kabhi bura nahi mana. Please prerna ro mat. She cries even harder. She covers her face and then hugs him. He also then hugs her.
Later, Prerna tells Anu: pehle to me tumse sirf pyaar karti thi…magar ab me tumhari izzat karti hoon. Anurag, you are my ideal. You are so giving..tum hamesha dusaro ke bare me sochate ho. Exactly..He is sooo giving. This is the quality of Anu that I admire the most.
AP going to Panchmeshwar:
AP are going to panchmeshwar to cover special coverage of riots there for their channel. Anurag and prerna are in the car. The song Ajeeb dastan he ye is playing. They both are quiet and occasionally look at each other. Finally, prerna says: Anurag, kabhi ye gaana tumhe bahot pasand tha na? Anu: khabhi, kyu prerna? Yeh gaana aaj bhi mujhe bahot pasand he. Kitna achhchha gana he. Prerna: haan. Kitna deep matalab he is gane ka. Ajeeb dasta he ye, kaha shuru kaha khatam. Ye manzile he konsi. She looks at Anu. Na wo samajh sake na hum. Anurag, har prem kahani ka ant itna tragic kyu hota he? Anu: nahi prerna. agar ant tragic ho to wo prem kahani hoti hi nahi. Prem kahani ka ant kabhi tragic nahi hota. Wo is liye kyonki prem kahani ka kabhi ant hi nahi hota. Prem hamesha rehta he. Wo kabhi nahi jata. Prem hamesha aapke saath rehta he. It is endless.(this is so true.) They both sadly look at each other. Then Anu looks away. Then, he suddenly stops the car and gets out. Prerna is confused and follows him. Anurag walks away from the car and stands with his back to prerna. He stands holding a tree and wipes tears from his eyes. Prerna comes from behind calling him. She is surprised to see him crying. Pre: anurag please. Dekho ro mat. She puts her hand on his shoulder. Anu, take a hold of yourself. Anu: Prerna, me kabhi nahi chahta tha ki tumhe sachchai ka pata chale. Tumhari nafrat aur gusse ko sehen karke bhi me tumhari zindagi bana sakta tha. Magar ab jab tumhe sach ka pata chal gaya he to tum mujhe jaan ne ki koshish karogi. Aur jitna tum mere nazdik aaogi, utna hi tum mujse sympathize karogi. Mere man ki bat jan kar tumhe bahot dukh ho gaya. Prerna, me tumhari nafarat sahen kar sakta hoon. Magar tumhara dard nahi. Pre: kyu anurag, pachhtava he tumhe apni zindagi se? Anu: pachhtava nahi prerna. aparadh –bojh. Then he tells her that he feels guilty for being unfair to komolika. He tells prerna that he doesn't love komolika. He could never forget prerna.
This is one of my favorite AP scenes. Especially the part when Anu tells prerna that love is endless. When he stops his car and gets out trying to hide his tears from prerna that was so touching. I wanted Prerna to hug him. AP get stuck in riots: A totally mindblowing scene. AP hug for almost 10 minutes. Ap get stuck in panchmeshwar riots while they are doing coverage for BTN. They trie to run away, but people are killing and burning things everywhere. Finally, Anu grabs her hand and they both hide in a telephone booth. Prerna is really scared and shaking. Then there is a big dhamaka and she hugs Anu in fear. Then they sit there hiding for a long time. Prerna her eyes closed in fear and Anu hugging her protectively.
Romance in the middle of riots…kya scene tha.
Prerna yells at Anu:
Ap reach their hotel safely after riots. Anu is hurt on his hand. A doctor comes and checks it. Bandages him and gives him some meds. He tells Prerna that Anu needs complete rest. When Prerna returns in the room, Anu is already up working. Pre: Anurag, ye tum kya kar rahe ho. Doctor ne tumhe rest karne ko kaha he na. Anu: haan Prerna bas sirf 3 page fax karne he. Pre: nahi…tum abhi so jao. Tumhare haath ko aaram ki jaroorat he. Anu: bas ek page aur. Pre: ye sara kaam me kar loongi. Tum aaram karo. Me aaj yahin beth ke dekhungi ke tum aaram kar rahe ho ya nahi. Anu: Prerna, tum bhi bahot thaki hui ho. Dekho na. Agar tum ek minute aur khadi rahi na to behosh ho jaogi. Pre gets angry. Pre: thik he me apne kamare me jati hoon. Magar pehle tum wada karo ke tum change karke sidha so jaoge. Anu: thik he baba, me so jaunga. Pre: aur ye darwaza khula rakhana. Me raat ko kabhi bhi aoongi..check karne...ke tum aaram kar rahe ho ya nahi.
Anu worries about Pre: The curfew is removed for a while. Anu wakes up and looks for Prerna. He finds out that she has left early with a videocamera. He finds her in a hospital taking interview. Anu: Prerna, tum yahan ho. Mene tumhe kaha kaha nahi dhoondha. Tum bhi na prerna. jese curfew utha nahi ke nikal padi…wo bhi akele…situation kabhi bhi karab ho sakti he…agar tumhe kuchh ho gaya na to me…Pre: anurag, wo doctor ne kaha tha ki tumhari dawai le aana. Isi liye me nikal padi. Mujhe tumhari chinta ho rahi thi. They both stare at each other. This beautiful song plays:

Kasuati zindagi ki Anu finds out Prem is his son: Kajol tells Anu that Prem is his son. Anu drives to Pre's house and remembers moments he spent with prem. He is crying. He enters Pre's house. Pre is playing with Prem on the sofa. Anu goes there. Prerna is shocked to see him. He picks up Prem from her. He looks at Prem. Anu: Bahot bada gunah ho gaya mujse. Anyay kiya he mene tumhari maa se. Me gunhegar hoon tumhari maa ka…tumhara. Prerna gets up in shock. Anu: tumhara baat hone ke bawjoot mene kabhi tumhe bete ki tarah gale nahi lagaya. He then hugs prem. Anu: beta. Mujhe maaf karde..please I am so sorry. Mujhe maaf karde Prem…mujhe maaf karde. I am sorry. He is weeping and so is Prerna. He keeps on repeating this same thing. Then Prerna puts her head on his shoulder. They both cry.
Very touching scene. Anu was feeling so guilty. He must have said sorry ten times. Then he very lovingly hugs Prem.
Pre's mom tells Anu to not meet Prem: Anu sees a balloon wala in park. He remembers Prem and buys all the balloons. He goes to Pre's house. He is about to touch Prem when Pre's mom comes there. Veena: ruk jao anurag. Anurag, Prem ke saath khelne ka tumhe koi haq nahi he. Pehle tum mere sawalo ke jawab do. Kya tum prem ko apna naam de sakte ho? Kya tum prerna ko apni biwi ka darja de sakte ho. Agar de sakte ho to me tumhe Prem se khelne se nahi rokungi. Aur agar nahi to tumhe pata he bete ke tumhe kya karna he. Balloons fly out of his hands. He stares at Veena, tears rolling down from his eyes. He looks at Prem and then walks out.
Awwww.i felt sooo bad for him…he was so hurt!
Anu gets drunk and Pre comforts him:
Anu finds out that Komo had aborted her child on purpose. He is really upset and he goes to a hotel and drinks. Prerna calls him and asks why he didn't come for work. He tries to lie but she doesn't believe him. Finally, he tells her where he is and Pre goes to see him. Pre: Anurag, ye kya haalat bana rakhi he tumne. Kya hua? Anu: prerna, mere saath bahot bada dhoka hua he. Wo komolika he na usne mujhe dhoka diya. Usne khud hamare bachche ka abortion karwaya. Mene us per kitna bharosa kiya. Use prem ke bare me bhi sab bata diya aur usne mere saath vishwasghat kiya. Bahot bura kiya na us ne. Muje samaj me nahi aata ke me kis par vishwas karu..I am so lost prerna…I am so lost. Pre: dekho anurag. Sambhalo apne aap ko. Me hoon na tumhare saath. Me hamesha tumhara saath doongi. Chalo ab utho yahan se. Anu: nahi muje kahi nahi jana he..muje bas yahi bethana he. Pre: Anu. Chalo utho. Ghar chalo..raat bahot ho gayi he. She helps him get up. Anu walks with her support.
This was a great scene. Wondeful acting by Cezzane khan. He was looking so innocent. Bilkul chhote bachche jesa lag raha tha. And his dialogue delivery was awesome. I loved it when he said, " I am so lost, Prerna" as " I am cho lost, plelna". Like a little kid Anu tells Prerna that he is very lonely: Moloy finds out about Prem and he slaps Anu for hiding the truth. Anu meets Prerna at mandir next day. He tells her that he feels very lonely. He had done injustice to her for unknowingly not accepting Prem. Now he is paying for his mistakes. Komo has betrayed him and even his baba has stopped supporting him. He feels very lonely. Prerna puts her hand on his shoulder and tells him that she will always be there for him.
Anu plays with Prem: Komo's asliyat has come out and Anu has decided to divorce her. AP are going in a car. Anu stops the car at a toy store and buys almost all the toys in the store for Prem. Pre: Anurag, abhi to wo sirf ek saal ka he…itne sare khilone wo kab khelega. Anu: jaanta hoon Prerna…magar mujhe is ek saal ka pyaar use dena he. Prerna is happy. They reach home. Prem is with Veena. Prerna shows Prem all the toys. Anu is standing and watching. He takes a step towards Prem and then remembers what Pre's mom had told him. So he turns to leave. Pre: Anurag, tum apne beteke saath nahi kheloge? Anu looks at Veena. Veena says that now she doesn't have a prob as moloy has accepted prem as his grandson. Anu gets happy. He was looking really good here. He had this big smile on his face and there were tears in his eyes. Then he picks up Prem and plays with him. Prerna thanks veena and says after a long time her heart is at peace to see papa-beta playing together.
A very very cute scene. Loved the way Anu plays with Prem. It was so touching. When Veena tells Anu that he can play with Prem. His face lights up with a big smile and his eyes fill with tears of joy. Edited by indogirl - 18 years ago
