Ekta Kapoor's 'Kkasam Se' not doing well

The format and presentation of the new 'Sa Re Ga Ma' will be different. There will be separate prizes for the male and female participants.

According to Kaul, their soap 'Saat Phere - Saloni Ka Safar' has emerged more successful than many of the popular soaps on other channels.

'It's ahead of the 'K' factor in many ways. Saloni is our dark horse. We knew 'Saath Phere - Saloni Ka Safar' will be our clutter-breaker. But to this level? One can never predict.'

Apart from 'Hum Paanch 2', Ekta Kapoor's big new soap 'Kkasam Se' on Zee is also not doing well.

'We are baffled,' said Kaul.

'We virtually poured money into marketing 'Hum Paanch 2' and 'Kkasam Se'. I remember, I used to bunk college to watch 'Hum Paanch'. Like I said, a very strong comedy is needed. Hopefully, Johnny Lever will do the needful.'

Really? I am pretty surprised, I thought that Kasamh Se was doing quite well...... 😕

One reason might be that its a slightly up-market show as compared to other K-serials...and has a different story line....I hope they don't change it, just to get the TRP's up!

In any case, it takes quite some time for a serial to catch on, Kasamh Se broke into the top 100 in the very first week that it debuted and has only gone upwards....once the romantic track between Jai and Bani begins, the serial will go up again....everyone loves to see romance on screen!😳

PS: I had read elsewhere that Kasamh Se is doing very well.... 😕 Infact, Kasamh Se has become the Channel Driver for Zee and is currently just behind Saat Phere in terms of popularity!

zee is disappointed bcos kasamh se is not worth the ridiculous amount of money it is paying ekta


saat phere is far cheaper to produce and gives better TRPs

replacing astitva a serial that was already successful and managed to have high advertising rates because of its niche
audience ( working women SEC AB )

now ekta serials arent what we call good/different serials

they are aimed at the middle class housewife brigade(saas bahu)
so accordingly ad rates are lower than those charged reachwise for astitva

astitva after jassi i believe had the highest rate on average TRPs ( not on total TRPs that belongs to kyunki )

i am sure once the pia-pushkar thing is over from kasamh se and the story only focuses on jai bani love scenes i am sure the trps will each the top 😉

I was a big fan of Astitva Ek Prem Kahani and could relate to it to a certain extent. The audience is going to be different for Ekta serials and Ajai Sinha serials. It will take time for the Ekta crowd to come in and watch the slot where the Sinha fans were watching.

That is a real surprise to know.I hope that in time the Trp's improve

Recently in an interview, Ekta said Kasam Se is in fact doing well. It is her Hum Panch which is not doing well..

I am surprised..I suppose as others montioned,once bani-jai love story starts the TRPs are sure going to come up.. I sincerely hope so..
