Prachi Desai More Pics
After capturing many a heart in Bollywood, Prachi Desai is headed south. Prophesised the next big thing of tinsel town, Prachi's move to K-town will see her romancing Arun Vijay.
Says Prachi, "Talks on doing a Kollywood movie have been happening for quite some time. I'm glad it is finally happening. K-town always invoked curiosity in me and I feel great to be a part of it."
So, what should the audience expect from the movie? "Well, I don't want to let the cat out of the bag so soon. All I can tell is that I play a young fun-loving girl who is in love with life. This role is starkly opposite to my characters in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai and Rock On!!! in which I portrayed matured and level-headed characters." Prachi promises the movie will be a light-hearted family entertainer peppered with humour.
Ask the pretty damsel, who has gained attention for being a no-tantrum kid, on her no-airs demeanour and she replies, "This is me and that is all about it. I think I'm someone who is taken advantage of. I cannot say 'no' and sometimes, I regret being like this." So, has it landed her in any trouble? "Not exactly. Bollywood has made me tough. I have learnt to stand my ground in the last two years and it works," she grins.
So, what is her dream? "I want to do something for old people and destitute children. My dream is to adopt 500 orphan children and give them a life. At times, I wish to donate everything I have and disappear from this world," she signs off.
