Barring the fact that Tanuja looked like a total firecracker today, all hawt in her orange/yellow suit, she literally WAS a firecracker!!
Right from the beginning, we see Tanuja taking matters into her own hands and finding Witchaika who was playing in what seemed like a playground with her school buddy, ick 😵 Witchaika gives her cleverly crafted excuse of Shekar being her brother from America and easy slides out of this one. Tanuja, although doesn't know anything at this point, will surely crack down on the case when she finds out Malaika's truth.
Back at the Bedi House, Rano is gleaming because Witchaika is back. Beeji is observing all this while Tanuja stands in a corner and Rano excitedly tells Rishi that Malaika is back. Was Rano expecting Rishi to jump with joy or something? I mean Malaika ain't a two year old that he would be sweating bullets if she wasn't at home for a few hours 🥱 What catches Rishi's attention is the fact that Malaika tells him Tanuja brought her back. A confused and baffled Rishi thinks, "why in the hell would she go to find her?"
Tanuja is on her way to her room when she notices a somewhat tensed Beeji staring at her. Beeji being clean at heart and someone who doesn't hold back, asks Tanuja some burning questions. Of course after seeing the whole spectacle of what was the wedding and now Tanuja rushing to get Malaika back, Beeji was concerned about what Tanuja's real intentions are.
"What are you thinking?" she asks. Tanuja seems perplexed. "First you deceive by sitting in the wedding pyre and now you run off to go find your sautan?? What exactly are your intentions?" asks a worried Beeji.
Tanuja answers back with confidence, "I'm not sure what I'm doing. I did what I did because I was ordered to do so. All I know is, I'm not here to harm the family and I will never dream of doing so."
In the bedroom, Rishi is baffled to find Tanuja's clothes all over his closet. "TANUJA!!" he calls. Tanuja comes in to see Rishi just about to burst at her.
"What is all this!?" he asks as he points to her clothes. "Clothes?" she replies as if it were the most obvious thing in the world 😆
"Why are your clothes in my closet? Does this look like my closet from any angle?" he asks while tugging onto her arm. I love the way Tanuja was reacting to his touch with a stern look on her face as if to think, why is he touching me with so much force?
She brushes off his arm and tells him that she did all this on purpose. Rishi looks just about to pop when she tells him that since they are playing the husband-wife charades, she decided to add a few touches of her own so that Raj doesn't suspect anything.
Since Rishi cannot come back at her with a retort, he asks her where she placed his album in a rather accusatory manner.
Annoyed by his tone, Tanuja very curtly replies that it is where it's supposed to be. She goes towards the closet to find it when Rishi advances alongside her and places his hand firmly on hers. Any other day and his touch may have given her butterflies but NOT today! I loved the way Tanuja was giving it back to Rishi with attitude. Like, no buddy, you don't just get to lash out at me on a whim and expect me to take that!
"What childish behaviour is this?" she comments. "Just because you think I touched the album you'll keep your hand on mine?" Rishi doesn't want to hear anything so he keeps insisting. Tanuja forcefully removes her hand and finds his precious album.
An embarrassed Rishi walks away and says "sorry". I love the look that was on his face like he really didn't want to say it but had to since he was accusing her of something she didn't do.
"Sorry" she repeats.
"It's okay" he brushes it off.
"Yea not to you but because you covered the album with your hand" she retorts.
Rishi cannot believe his ears. Is she really answering back at me like this? he thinks.
Yea Rishi! She ain't takin your attitude 😎
The next bit was absolutely hilarious as she tells him she will replace the album and him being his ziddi self decides he won't let her so they bump and she falls yet again. A short (mandatory 😉) eyelock later Rishi reprimands her by commenting that she's such a clutz and that she should stand straight!!! 🤣 Tanuja's face was like... "well if you wouldn't be so jumpy..."
Rishi turns away from her and says he wants to speak to her. Look at him, can't even look her in the eye 😛
"If you want to live in this house... if you want to live in my room, there are a few rules you will have to follow" he says.
"Rules??" she replies with a look on her face that looks like she's about to whoop him lol 😆 Like, how dare you impose rules on me?!
