ok so here goes..i've got double updates this time around please do bare with the boring bits as i am trying to lay a foundation for much awaited romance! ā¤ļø..hope they are not too painful!
"Anjaane se woah" Chapter 12
Recap..On the way back from kapoor mansion shiv and gauri pass the village where a couple are in trouble..shiv sends his driver to the hospital and they end up spending the night in a villagers home. Shiv begins to feel a certain warmth of love for gauri. ------------------
Early next morning and as situation permits shiv and gauri leave the village and arrive at the haveliā¦.breakfast period in the haveli and both Anupam and dadi are sitting the luxury of the haveli's hall and consuming tea when shiv and gauri walk in. all eyes seemed to prevail for a good look at the sight before themā¦
Shiv's appearance had very drastically changed from how he had left the haveli the night beforeā¦draped in a grey shawl..his figure was accompanied by a very traditional look which was pleasurable surprise for both dadi and anupam. Dadi was proud yet anupam was a little teasing of shivs dhoti kurta attire. The way in which gauri followed behind silentlyā¦they looked like the perfect coupleā¦
Gauri was dressed in that simplistic red material that the old lady had gifted. All in all both of them complemented each other and shivs presence gave off the essense of a thakur..
As shiv entered the surroundings and took a seat on the sofa oppersite dadiā¦the look in dadis eyes glowedā¦.
She took a glance up at gauri who was standing behind shiv silently and she winkedā¦.confusing gauriā¦even making her blush..as it was nothing of the sort that dadi was thinking. Anupam went on to tease shiv about his abrupt change of person and shiv explained the happenings of there journey. Yet between anupam and dadi there was a understanding this things had taken a leap in the life's of shiv and gauriā¦ Anupam happened to notice a change in shivs persona..he was much more relaxed..his traits gave off the sense that he had finally fallen for gauri.
As shiv takes to his roomā¦ Thinking of changing his attire ..he happens to lay eyes on his chair..instead heading straight for a change shiv relaxes on a chair. Resting his head back in the form of a tilt he begins to feel the strain of travel.. Closing his eyes in a resting motion. Shivs eyes take to darkness yetā¦even with his eyes closed he sees gauri before him. her expression smiles lovingly at him..failing to determine reality from illusion shiv opens his eyes in a startle and looking around from a sudden open of his eyes he sees the surroundings of his room and realizes that it was just his mind playing games. Shiv knew that this all added to his feeling of love for gauriā¦there was slow growing thirst for gauri. Feeling this strange feeling shiv seems to ease to a smile.
A soft knock at the door of his bedroom and something within him..calls out for gauri.. sounding her name as to ask if it is her shiv looks on at the entrance of the room.
As the door opens shiv realizes that's its only anupam..but having heard gauris name from him anpuam smiles..
Sorry..gauri nahin ā¦sirf main hoonā¦
Shivs face changes a little realsing that he had just fallen into a moment that he was unaware ofā¦ gauri was now seeming to take up all phases of life for shiv. From the the littlest moments to even his dreams. Anupam walked into the room and took a seat in front of shiv..inbetween them was a circular..wooden effect table. Anupam dug into his blue blazer pocket and took out a writers book..black leather covered flip pad. Resting it on the tableā¦ he left shiv wondering as to what he was doing. Further to his action anupam searched the inner linning of his blazer and took out a silver pen..and put it along side the notebook infront of shiv.
Shiv: "yey kya hai?"
Anupam smiles at shivā¦.and answers "bohat purana tarkia hai.." Shiv gave anupam a curious look and listened to him finish his words.
"Love letter aur kya!ā¦ "shiv gives anupam one stern look and he takes it lightly. Used to this look of hisā¦anupam carries on.
"Dekho shiv.. yey toe bilkul dhik raha hai ke tum gauri se ab pyaar karne lege ho. Keh do aur kya?" shiv knew it wasn't as easy as this. Somewhere down there she hadn't forgotten about how he had neglected her. just to say I love you wasn't enough. Shiv knew that deep down there within gauri was unconditional love for him..he just had to remind her of it.
All those paintings..that look that he had seen in her eyes, the way she spoke to him was all accountable for signs of love yet there was a barrier to break and he had know idea how to break it.
Shivs face creases with sadness as he thinks over the matter.. "itna aasan nahin hai anupamā¦.woh pyaar toe karti hai mujse lekin meine jo use dard diya hai who kayee syada ghera hai."
Anupam understood shiv...he was his friend after all..and for the first time anupam sensed that shivs words were heartfelt..just as anupam was about o console shiv..there was a knock at the door and this time it was gauri.
Standing at the entrance of the room..in a change of appearance.. gauri was dressed in a coral pink..as elegant and demure as ever..her presence captured shivs attention in one go and he was lost. Anupam was amused by his constant eye contact on gauri and it had even took to the point of where by anupam had to interrupt.
"Shiv waoh..gauri chai le kar aayi hai." anupam knew that gauri would not enter the room without shivs permission and it was the perfect moment in which he could add some more focus on shivs love for gauri. snapping out of it shiv finally realised and took an nod with ease. Gauri silently walked in and left a white cup and saucer on the table between them and stood silently shiv couldn't stop his glances..and as gauri was for leave his reply was somewhat heart spoken. Without lifting her expression gauri adds a soft "Mein jaaon..?" In shivs direction and shiv rejects..maybe unknowingly. ā "Nahin."
Anupam however saves the moments by interruptingā¦
Anupam: "Atcha gauri..tume ria ..kaisi lagi..?"
Shiv looks at anupam in surprise..now what did she have to do with things.. gauri was a bit surprised too but she answered - "Ji woahā¦aatchi hai", within wondering why that was of any importance.
This ria character seemed to be in a lot of importance to shivā¦and it had got gauri thinking..she lived in his house, she knews lots about himā¦even more than she knew and that worried gauri..
Just as she turned away to leave the room..something inside her plucked up the courage to stop and question.
Turning aroundā¦ Shiv notices the way gauri lingers and her eyes trail towards him.
Shiv: "Kuch kehna tha?" ..with a little bit of hesitance she asksā¦ ji woah..ria ji kaun hai? Just as shiv is about to answerā¦..."wohā¦meri secā¦--"
Anupam interruptsā¦"Ria shiv ki ghas dost hai." That only left gauri with questions..more curiosity and a worry that maybe this ria carried a deeper relationship with her husband.
As gauri leaves shiv blasts him in curiosity to why he referred to ria in that way. But anuapm he..simply smiled. While shiv was irritated anupam explained himself.
"Shiv tumne dekh nahin ..ke gauri ria se kitna jalti hai..?"
Shiv doesn't really care, he gives anupam a harsh look and then listens on ready to shout at him..
"Gauri jalti hai..kyun ke waoh tumse pyaar karti hai. All you have to do is play along. Tume kisi aur ke saath dekhe gi toe Use kud ba khud pyaar ka ehsaas hone lage ga shiv." Shiv didn't like the idea at all. He hated the thought of further neglecting gauri even it was pretence. More so he had seen his mother suffer as a second wife to mehen, he couldn't but her through that. Shiv didn't like the idea at all yet there was a strong heartbeat within that was beating for gauri. His love for her was reaching limitsā¦he would do anything to acquire her.
"kya kehte ho shiv? " shiv took one intense glare at anupam and walked away..that was a "no".
just because shive didn't agree with anupams ways it didn't mean he voided them completely, he thought over them throughout the day and one of gauris actions led to a final conclude in the matter. As shiv had easied into his normal attire. Accompanying a white shirt...open collar look with a black waistcoat just too add a touch of class shiv presents himself in a way that had always been his preference.
Walking out into the corridors of the haveli shiv stops at dadis room when he hears gauris voice in conversation. Stopping outside the room he overhears..
As gauri places a plate of fruit by dadis bedsideā¦dadi finds the perfect opportunity to question gauri..
'Is muskurat se mein yey samjoon ke tume shiv se pyaar hone laga hai?" gauri did carry a kind of sutble smile but that was just nature for her. for her it was nothing of the sort..
"nahin dadi meine aapse phele bhi kaha hai..woh pati hai mere..isaat karti hoon, apna rishta nibhaungi bas itna hein."
Both of them are unware that shiv watches from a distance yet for dadi her eyes begin to film tears as she sees a sense of bitterness In gauri..sense of hurt. Dadi lovingly puts her hand over gauris head to reassure her of things getting better and gauri smiles in response. Gauri words irritate shiv somewhat. Here he was in love with her, yes he may have hurt her in the past but he had left everything for her. Shiv had always carried a eruptible temper and gauris words irritated it.
Unaware of shivs presence gauri walks out of the room and happens to encounter him. the look on his faceā¦the kind of posture he carried was as ever influncial and gauri had began realising that he would have overhead. Dropping her gaze she is just about to walk past when his words stop her from moving.
More so his step closer leaves no room for gauri. his presence makes gauri skip a beat. His clossness was so that she could hear his breathing..even smell a musky aftershave fragrance. Looking down at her intensely shiv speaks his heart with apt.
"Pati hoon tumaraā¦agar chahun toe is naate haq taajasakta hoon tujepein gauri." his words worried gauri for a while..the tone was in-tenseness, sharp and overpowering.
Aur jaise tume dadi se kaha..tume rishta nibhana padta.. there was slight pause as shivs eyes turned to a soft form.. looking down at gauri his words also melted..
"Lekin..pyaar joe karta hoon tuje."
The way in which he conveys his notion of love brings surprise to gauri..her expression freezes as she feels the intensity in his words. she takes a glaze up and immediately drops it as there eyes clock.
"Mein yeh bhi jaanta hoon ke tum muje bhohat pyaar karti ho gauri. aur yey baat tum apne lafso mein kabool karongi. Yey tumare pati ka vaada hai tumse." Having said his piece shiv smoothly walks past gauri leaving her with a butterfly feeling of confusion within.
Walking along past gauri shiv reaches for his mobile and dials anupams number. As anupam picks up on the other end shivs words make his intentions clearā¦he had gone back on his thoughts and he was prepared to do anything to win gauri over. ā "Anupam meine soch leighyay haiā¦."
