The report for Week 48 for general entertainment channels (GECs) by TAM suggests no major changes in the order of channels. Colors continues its dominance of the GEC pie, amassing a share of 24 per cent. The channel has garnered 322 GRPs in Week 48.
Both STAR Plus and Zee TV are at No. 2 in the latest week, with relative shares of 19 per cent each. The GRPs garnered by the two are 253 and 251, respectively. Sony maintains a steady position at No. 4 with a 14 per cent share.

NDTV Imagine is at No. 5 with 8 per cent share, while SAB follows with 6 per cent share. Imagine has been losing share for the past few weeks. STAR One has managed to garner 4 per cent share and is at No. 7 in Week 48.
Sahara One and DD1 have fetched relative shares of 2.5 and 2.2 per cent respectively. STAR Utsav and 9X have managed to grab 1 per cent share each.
Both Uttaran and Balika Vadhu are the most watched programmes in the latest week, garnering a high TVR of 6.8. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Chhoti Bahu take the second and third spots, having garnered TVRs of 6.2 and 5.9 respectively.
Pavitra Rishta and Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo have fetched TVRs of 5.6 and 5.4 respectively. Na Aana Is Des Laado, Bairi Piya, Bidayi and Jhansi Ki Rani are the other top programmes in the list.
