Part 16:

Manik and Nandini entered her office room to discuss the idea that Nandini got for Dadi's bday but before she could say anything Manik said,

Manik: I must say... U hv impressed me today!! Now i can say that u hv actually learnt something good from me.. The way u talked to that manager i could hear him stammering.

Nandini: Not at all sir... What i do is to give stern commands and what u do is to shout at ppl.

Manik: Whatever it is nandini!! Atleast this made me know how much proud u feel to be working for Fab5.

Nandini smiled at him and then said slowly,

Nandini: Not only Fab5, i feel the same while working for the Malhotra Industries and even for my ever so distracting boss.

Manik: Distracting!! Woah...

Nandini: If u hv forgotten ur friends are waiting outside and we hv to discuss ur gift.

Manik: Hmn... Ok so Ms. To The Point Moorthy... Whats ur plan??

Nandini: Umn... I m not totally sure about it but for what i know Dadi would love it. How about a song by Fab5 to her???

Manik: Huh!!! U mean u want us to perform tmrw.??

Nandini: Ok so by ur reaction, I take that u hvn't ever noticed... But Dadi has never ever seen u all perform live. Not even once!! She always wished to be there when u r up on the stage but she knew u don't like merging ur office, music or personal life ever, so she didn't say anything.

Manik: Oh yes... Dadi has actually never seen me perform live.

Nandini: So thats why i just thought... I mean it might even make the party all the more fun along with her happiness, which is obviously the top most thing that we want.

Part 17:

Manik walked down from his room 5 mins later holding at least 20 thick albums full of photographs.

Nandini: Wow.. So many!! Give it to me..

Manik: What are u still doing here?? U know ur legs need rest. U should be on ur bed!!

Nandini: But sir...

Manik: Nandini... Do u want these??

Manik asked looking at the albums he was holding. Nandini nodded her head furiously like a 10 year old nodding to get a chocolate. Manik somehow suppressed his smile and said,

Manik: If u want these.. Then u hv to first get comfortable with ur legs straight.

Nandini: Ohk ohk fine.. Lets go!!

Manik finally smiled at her and gave her a few albums so that he could free his hands and push her wheel chair. They went in towards her room. As manik entered he saw nandini had already started looking through the albums.

Manik: Nandini... Hv pateince... I'll show all of them to u!!

Nandini gave him a smile as he picked her up in his arms and made her sit on the bed. He took a seat right next to her and picked up the first album.

Manik: This is my first ever album. Right after my birth!!

He opened up the album and Nandini saw a little near born child sleeping in Neyonika's arms in the first picture...

Nandini: OMG!!! Is that u?? God u were so cute..

Manik: Of course i was cute... After all I'm Manik Malhotra!!

Nandini: U & ur name

Nandini showed him a glare but then she smiled and said,

Nandini: But u still are cute!!

Nandini took up her hand to his face and pulled his cheeks...

Part 18:

Manik: Nandini.. If u remember u hv to make something for Dadi right? Coz i m in no mood to leave u before u say my name and moreover, I feel too comfortable with u sitting like this!

Nandini looked at him wide eyed on hearing this, she couldn't believe he was actually blackmailing her for this. But she knew she'll hv to give in to his wrds,

Nandini: Manik!!

Manik smiled listening to it, with that he again jerked her forward, more closer towards him. Nandini who was already just inches away from him, now has her entire body pressed with him.

Both of them were lost in the moment when suddenly manik's phone started ringing,

Manik immediately loosened his grip on her while nandini looked around. She tried to get off him at which manik stopped her and then picked her up and moved her back to the bed.

He checked his phone and saw cabir calling,

Manik: I'll be back!!

He got up and got out of room.

Manik: I need to get a grip over myself... Or this is not gonna lead us anywhere!!!

Nandini sighed a relief as he walked out and said to herself,

Nandini: Ayiappa... I have to stop this now... I hv to!!

She picked up the things needed and got back to work. While manik moved out and picked up the call,

Manik: Hello..

Cabir: Manik... What took u so long to pick up?

Manik: Cabir it's 12:30 ...

Cabir: Arey i needed to talk to u...

Manik: About??

Cabir: Woah... Actually!! I needed to tell u something... I think i like someone... I don't know it's just that i just can't get her out of my head.

Part 19:

Manik and Nandini entered the party to greet all the other guests. While nandini got busy with the guests, manik moved towards Fab5.

Manik: Hey guys!!

Aliya: Still not into the party mood Haan... I still can't believe u got into this kind of a surprise for Dadi!! I m sure she is gonna love it.

Manik: Same here Aliya... This is the first time, i m feeling out of the place in my own party..

Cabir: Well Nandini got u into this for Dadi... Let's see what this turns out to be!!

Nandini: Did I hear my name?? Oh yes i did...

All of them turned around and saw Nandini pulling her wheel chair towards them,

Mukti: Hi Nandini!!

Nandini: Hi...

Manik smiled at her when suddenly cabir scooped down on his knees in front of her, he picked up her hand in his and slowly kissed her knuckles.

Cabir: Hello darling... U look gorgeous!!

Nandini smiled at it when he continued, this time in a husky tone,

Cabir: If u don't mind... I might wish to add that u look hot today!!

Nandini blushed a bit at him while Aliya hit cabir's back.

Aliya: Oye joker... Shut up and get up now!!

Cabir stood up from his knees while Mukti we busy noticing our hero.

Part 20:

Manik walked backwards straight to his room,

"I think Cabir is in love with Nandini... Cabir is in love... In love with Nandini... In love with Nandini... Cabir with Nandini!!!!"

Mukti's voice was continuously revolving in his head continuously. He banged the door of his room and lied down on his bed. He couldn't understand what should he fell like, should he be happy for his friend or go on with the sadness that was not prevailing in his heart. And amidst all these emotions, the one which came out was... Anger!!

He picked up the vase from his side time and smashed it onto the floor letting out all this anger. Within the next few minutes, almost half of his clothes were out of the cupboard and on the floor, along with two more floor vases and the pillows from his bed.

Exactly 10 minutes later, he heard a knock on his door and he shouted,

Manik: Get lost!!! Go handle the party... I'll fire the entire staff if anything goes wrong down there!!

And as he said so, the door opened up a bit and he heard a voice,

"And what will u do if anything goes wrong over here..."

Manik immediately knew who was it but he didn't turn around. He had absolutely no idea how he would react so he simply said,

Manik: Not now... Go back to the party!!

"I know why u r sending me off... But u also know that u need me here to calm ur mind... Or else this won't help u!!"

Manik: No i don't... Just go!! I'll talk to u later cabir!!

Yes, it was cabir... He knew Manik would react this way after listening to Mukti and thus, he had come after him. Cabir entered the room and sat next to Manik.

Cabir: Wanna say anything??

Part 20:

Manik just turned to look at him and caught him smiling, and just that smile agitated him so much that has it not been his best friend he would hv actually murdered him.

Manik: Cabir... I'm not in the mood for any of ur crap... So plz!!

Part 22:

Soon Manik came back with two ice creams and gave nandini hers. He took his seat by her side and opened up his cup. He took out the spoons from his pocket and turned towards Nandini to see her already having her ice cream by her hands. Immediately a smile crept upon his face witnessing her innocence. She was licking her fingers when she caught his gaze.

Nandini: Sir?? Won't u eat? Ur ice cream is already melting.

Manik snapped out of his thoughts and again looked at her fingers, nandini followed his eyes and then realized the way she is eating.

She looked up at him with guilty eyes.

Nandini: I... I'm... I'm sry sir!! I didn't realize my place. I'll tidy up in a minute.

Nandini started looking into her bag to get something to clean her hands when manik held her hand and bent close towards her. Nandini turned towards him as he held her hand and the next minute manik licked the ice cream from one of her fingers.

Nandini's eyes widened in shock, as he picked another finger of hers. But she felt a shiver run down her spine. As his soft lips touched her cold fingers and not just touched, licked her fingers one after the other. Nandini closed her eyes but didn't even flick her hand away. Manik could see her face and even though he was doing what his heart felt like, there was a slight fear within him that she might freak out and this might even disturb there growing friendship. He was anxious beyond explanation but as he realized that she didn't snatch away her hand, a slight hope which was there in his heart grew.

He continued his work through all the five fingers and then slowly whispered her name,

Manik: Nandini...

Part 24:

As the bottle was rotated again this time the target was cabir.

Cabir: Ohk so truth...

Manik: Arey yr.. Ab isse kya puche!! Kabhi serious hua h kya ye aaj tk...

Cabir: Umm... Guys, i hv something to tell u all. I mean, i wanted to tell this to u from do long but then i just couldn't get a chance and it was left out-

Aliya: Hang on cabir... Come to the point directly!! U being serious scares me...

Manik: Yeah bro what's it??

Cabir: Actually guys i... Last week I kinda... I kinda proposed to Navya.

Mukti: What??

Cabir: Annnd she said yes...

"OMG!!" came a loud noise and within the next second all of them threw themselves over cabir.

The entire room got filled with happiness and Nandini heard Cabir shout.

Cabir: Get off me ppl... U'll choke me to death...

Well time was some sneak peek, so Navya is a leading journalist, who initially hated fab5 due to their famous attitude. Fab5 knew how to handle media but Navya also knew how to block their way each and every time. Over time Nandini and Navya had become gr8 friends as Nandini would step up in between Fab5 and Navya whenever the situation went out of hand. If it was up to Navya, she would hv parted her way from them long back, but Nandini then handed over the official advertisement of Fab5 to her. And Navya couldn't just refuse her sweet friend.

Although with time, navya understood Fab5 and she didn't hv any problem with it.

All of them heard Cabir shouting and got up when Manik said,

Manik: U jerk... Why didn't u tell us??

Cabir: Manik u know na.. last week it had been busy so i just-

Manik: Oh not this ... Why didn't u ever mention that u hv feelings for her?

Cabir: Let's just say maybe i was waiting to know whether she reciprocates my feelings towards her.

Manik: Man.. i m so happy for u!!

Aliya: That calls for a double celebration.

Mukti: Absolutely!! Come on guys lets plan a trip. Lets just go out somewhere, all of us and we'll invite Navya as well. After all its time for us to bond with her as well.

Dhruv: I m in!!

Cabir: Ohk then so am I.

Manik: Umm... I m really sry guys!! I hv this really important meeting in Lonavala day after tmrw and i can't miss it.

Aliya: No problem Manik... It's perfect actually, u go down over there attend ur meeting and then we all will join u the next day mrng!! We'll spend 2-3 days out there and enjoy. What's say??

Mukti: Sounds perfect!!

With this mukti again hugged cabir and said,

Mukti: God i m so happy!!

As mukti broke the hug she turned around and saw Nandini smiling at all of them and said,

Mukti: And Nandini before u say anything, I m telling u that u r coming along with us and thats final!!

Nandini: But-

Cabir: No if's and but's allowed over here baby... U r coming!!

They all sat down again when Manik got an important call from someone and he excused himself out.

And with Cabir's truth, the game ended and now Aliya was telling Nandini about hers and dhruv's love story. About how they became friends to lovers.

After about 15 minutes, Manik was about to enter the room when he heard Mukti say,

Mukti: Ohk.. so Nandini... U tell me, what do u feel about relationships?? About love??

And that made him stop on his tracks he just stood there and peeked into the room to listen to her answer.

Nandini: Me... Um,
