Manik entered his mansion while the images of Aryaman flashed in front of him.He threw his blazer on the couch and asked the servant "Ramu kaka...Dhruv hai kya ghar par...??"
Ramu-Nahi baba...chote baba bahar gaye hai..
He directly went to his room and sat silently.He fisted his hand,gritted his teeth thinking about Aryaman and Nandini.
Slowly,he drifted to sleep and woke up after a while.He went to freshen up and came out wiping his face with a towel.Just then Dhruv came and hugged him.
D-Bhai...
Ma-Arey Dhruv...
He hugged him back.
D-Kab aaye ho..??
Ma-Bas thodi dher pehle..
They broke the hug and sat on the bed.
D-Bhabhi maa se baath hui...??
Manik nodded slightly.
D-Have u met her...??
He again nodded in a yes.
D-Kya hua Bhai...??U look so stressed..??
Ma-Kuch nahi Dhruv...
D-Boliye na Bhai...kuch pareshani hai kya..??
Manik nodded and explained the entire scene happened with Nandini while Dhruv's blood boiled imagining someone touching his Bhabhi maa.
D-What...?? Bhai...Why did u leave him..??U should have killed that jerk...Bhabhi maa pe haath lagayaa...
Ma-Ha Dhruv...I should have killed him...but...wo...tumhare Bhabhi maa...She stopped me...else...
He stopped while gritting his teeth.

He said slowly while Manik too thought that it is true.
Ma-Haa Dhruv...Dar toh gayi hogi...I have to talk to her...

He stood to leave and Manik called him "Dhruv..."

Ma-Beta..Ask Ramu kaka to get some coffee...bahut head ache ho raha hai...
He said while holding his head.
Dhruv smiled a little and said "Jii Bhai.."
Manik took some rest and thought of calling Nandu at night.

Nandini was resting her head on bed post and thinking about something deeply while her phone rang as usual flashing the name of her hidden love.

She answered slowly.
Ma-Nandu...are u still thinking about that bloody jerk...??Bola na...bhool jao uske baare mein...
He said in a slight demanding tone.

She said slowly while Manik smiled a little in shock.
Ma-Mere baare mein...?? Acha Nandu...Listen...I'm sorry yar...I shouldn't have shouted at u...bahut dar gayi ho na...?? U might have got scared seeing my anger...hai na..??
He asked slowly while rubbing his hair.Nandini came out and stood in the balcony.

She said slowly while Manik took a deep breath.

Nandini carefully listened him imagining his anger again.

He asked hesitatingly.

She bent her head down and smiled while Manik waited for response.

Ma-Oh...I came today only...hamari baath theek se nahi hui hai na...last time...(Both went back to their phone conversation when Manik was in London)So I thought of meeting u...and I came directly from airport...and there I saw...
He stopped and Nandini could clearly hear his gritting of teeth.

He calmed himself down and took a deep breath.

Manik slept peacefully after having a normal talk with his love.

She slowly opened her diary and saw the line she wrote when she was 18.

She traced her fingers on that line and for the first time she felt "HE IS THE ONE" thinking about Manik.
She smilingly went downstairs to get some water and stopped when her Appa and Amms are discussing something very seriously.She hid when she heard her name from Amms.
Amms-Narendra beta...I think we should get Nandu married...
Nandini was shocked listening this.
Appa-But Amma...Itni jaldi kyun...??
Amms-Narendra...we have already decided na...that we will get Nandu married once her exams gets over...

Unknowingly,Nandini's eyes flooded.Only thought she has in her mind is MANIK.
"Ab mein kya bolungi Manik jii ko..."She thought and cried hugging her pillow.
She called Manik and he was confused seeing her name.
"Iss waqt...call kyun kar rahi hai..."He thought and answered the call.
Ma-Nandu...u called me at this time...?? Everything fine na..??
Nan-Jii Manik...Can we meet tomorrow...??
She asked slowly after wiping her tears.

She hung the call and Manik was totally confused.
"Pichle baar bulayi thi..aur kaha ki stay away...ab kal kya batayegi..."He thought and the night's sleep vanished for both of them.

Next morning,Manik was eagerly waiting for Nandini to come.
And his wait got over when he saw Nandini walking towards him.His heart beat increased when he saw her face sad.

They wished formally.But Manik sensed something wrong.
Ma-Kya hua...Nandu...??
He managed to speak in between his fear.
Nan-Appa ne...Appa mere liye...rishthey doond rahe hai...
She said slowly and Manik's ground under his feet shattered into pieces.
Ma-Wh...what...??
Nandini saw a pool of tears in his eyes and her eyes too started flowing.
Nan-Manik...mujhe patha tha...This will happen one day...That's why I was telling u from the first day itself ki hope math rakna...
Ma-tum...tum kehna kya chahthi ho...??
Nan-Ab kehne ke liye kya bacha hai Manik...
Ma-don't u have feelings for me Nandu...??
He asked slowly and she bent her head down and nodded in a no.
Ma-Jhoot...jhoot bol rahi ho tum...
He shouted and she again nodded in a no while her tears came out and his too.
Ma-Toh phir kyun aayi ho yaha...??? Just to inform that ur Appa is looking for a right match for u...???
He asked in a firm tone while wiping his tears forcefully.
She turned to other side and he made her turn to his side.
Ma-Sach bolo Nandu...haven't u ever...not even once...felt my love...???
She made herself free from him and said "Nahi...kabhi nahi hua mujhe...I don't have any feelings for u..."
He shook his head in disbelief and gathered himself.
He said "Ok...maan jaaunga...maan jaunga tumhare yeh jhoot ko bhi...but prove me...(She saw him in shock) Prove me that u don't have any feelings for me..."
Nandini too wiped her tears and thought "I have to do this..." and asked "Kaise...??"
Manik thought for a while and said "Give me a day of ur life...spend a day with me...Ek aur baar apne ghar mein jhoot bolo..ki tum college jaa rahi ho...Don't worry...I'll pick u and drop u on time...bas ek dhin...uss ek dhin mein...if I felt anything like u have feelings for me..then I swear Nandu,I won't leave u...I won't let u go.."
Nan-Agar nahi dhikhi toh...??
This shocked Manik.
Nan-Boliye...If u haven't felt that I have feelings for u...then...??
Manik took a deep breath and said "Then...I promise...ki I won't show my face ever again in my life..."
Nan-Nahi...I won't accept this...I want something more...
Ma-Kya..??
Nan-If u lose...Promise me that...u'll marry another girl...wo bhi pyaar karke...
Manik's eyes widened with shock listening her.
Nan-Manjoor..???
Ma-Haa...manjoor...because I know..that I'll win...and my winning step has already started from ur words...tum ab bhi mere baare mein soch rahi ho...meri balayi ke liye...
Nandini took deep breath and thought "Agar mein baath karoongi toh,uss baaton mein inko patha chal jayega..."

Nan-Uss ek dhin mein baath nahi karoongi..ek dum chup rahoongi...
Manik smiled understanding her intention and said "Theek hai...khamoshi mein pyaar doond loonga.."
They both shared an eye-lock.
Ma-Mein plan karne ke baadh kahoonga...kab jaana hai...
She nodded and left.Manik rubbed his hair back and thought "She is impossible Man...kya kya karna pad raha hai iss ke liye...but she's worth it...Nandu...We both know who wins...dhekh lenge..."
He smiled a little and left with confidence.
"Ek dhin...bas ek dhin...Be strong Nandu...if u hide ur feelings for just one more day,then Manik jii will be fine with other girl..."She thought.

I know it may be boring...but 2 or 3 updates mostly..Nandini will be ready to confess...I promise..no more dragging...and that one day will be very special...keep guessing...
