He nodded slowly.

He said with a lump in his throat.

Manik is back with his smirk and nodded.They both signaled each other and Cabir said "kuch bhi karne se pehle soch liya karo..ok...??"
He nodded like a child.
C-Acha Manik..Aunty aur uncle worried hai tere liye..go n talk to them..

Cabir was about to leave but turned back and said "And uss Navya ko mujh pe chod dho..Don't worry...I'll handle her my way..."
Manik smiled at him and Cabir left.

"It's been a week...I haven't seen him since a week...I just hope he is fine...kuch ulta seedha toh nahi kiya hoga na...no...Nandu..think positive..."Nandini thought to herself.
Manik hasn't shown his face to her since that day but he used to see her hiding himself.A little hope filled his heart seeing Nandini like that,that too for him.

As usual,Nandini was thinking about Manik and walking with her friends.

Nandini nodded in a no saying that she was not in a mood but they dragged her to icecream vendor on the road side.

Remaining three took their flavors and insisted Nandini too to take something,but she refused.

He handed over the icecream cone to her.

Boy-wo lamba wala jiju...He said pointing his finger towards someone.
Everyone looked at the direction he was showing and a slight smile escaped from her lips seeing him,and she immediately suppressed it.Mukthi and Aliya giggled while exchanging looks.
Nan-Nahi chahiye...wapas kar dho...
She was about to return it but he refused.
Boy-Nahi dii...unhone manaa kiya hai wapas lene se...
Nan-Acha...toh yeh paise dhe dho...
She handed money in his hands and took the icecream while he ran towards Manik taking them.
Nandini gave a deadly glare at him and started walking with her friends.

Manik was shocked seeing money.He gritted his teeth and said "Rakh lo.." and went forcefully towards Nandini.
He pulled her towards him holding her hand.
"Do u guys mind leaving us alone...??"He asked looking at her friends while Nandini looked at him being shocked.
Mukthi and Aliya were ready to leave but Navya was about to utter something.Manik gave stern look at her which made her shiver seeing the blood shot eyes.So,she too followed Mukthi and Aliya.
Nandini was trying to free her hand.
Ma-Kya mein tumhe ice cream wala dhikhtha hu...??
Nan-I never said that..
Ma-toh phir why did u give him money...??
He asked firmly for which silence is her answer.He wiped ice cream traces at the corner of lips and licked his tip of fingers.
"Yummy" He said and winked.
"Chodiye mujhe...kya kar rahe ho aap..??"She said and freed herself.
Ma-Mein...mein toh bas apne girl friend se milne aaya tha...
Nan-Listen..I'm not ur girl friend..

He said pointing to a girl who was walking towards him and waving her hand to him.He too waved back and signaled her to come.Nandini just looked at her and at Manik with an expressionless face.

The girl came running towards Manik and hugged him tightly.Much to Nandini's disappointment,Manik too encircled his hands around her waist and gave a look at Nandini.Nandini,who was gritting her teeth seeing them,immediately lowered her gaze to avoid eye contact.
Girl-Baby...I missed u so much...
She said like a child after breaking the hug.
Ma-Oh Babe...I too missed u...
He said with fake cuteness.

She asked pointing Nandini.Manik looked at her and said "Yeh...iska naam Nandini hai...aur iss ke aage mujhe kuch nahi patha..."
Nandini made an O face listening this and gave a deadly glare at Manik.

He said stressing the word girlfriend and making his grip tighter on her.Tears welled up in her eyes and Manik observed this.

She said slowly.

He said to Soha.

Manik rewinded the incident and smiled sheepishly.Just then Cabir entered.

Ma-Arey Cabir...
He stood and hugged him.
C-Arey waah...kya hua...?? Aaj kya kaand kiya tumne...??
Manik smiled and explained everything.
C-What...??u introduced Soha as ur girlfriend...??
Manik nodded with the same foolish smile.
C-kuch positive result hai..??
Ma-Haa...bura toh laga usko...
Just then,Manik's phone started ringing,flashing the name Nandu.
C-Bahut jhor se jhatka laga hoga...??
Manik smiled and winked at him and Cabir understood what he has to do.As soon as he answered the call,all Nandini could listen was...
"Ah...Soha...wait na...lag jayegi tumhe...aaram se..."Manik giggled while saying them and imagining Nandini's expression.Cabir pressed his mouth to stop himself from bursting out.
Nandini's eyes popped out listening that hell and she just fisted her hands,not knowing what to do.
Just then Manik signaled Cabir and Cabir said in a girl tone "Baby...chalo na...Show me ur bedroom.."
Nandini just wanted to throw the phone away while Manik was enjoying that silence too.
"Acha ok babe...let me attend this call.."He said and acted as if he doesn't know anything.
Ma-Hello...Nandu...Are u there...??
She came out from her dreamland after killing Soha in it and said "Sorry...wrong dial..." and immediately cut the call.
Manik smiled again imagining her situation.
C-Kya hua...??
Ma-kuch nahi..asli jhatka toh ab laga...Cabir...seriously...bedroom...??
He said and they both rolled on bed laughing.
C-Manik...but zyada hurt hua toh..??
Ma-Nahi Cabir...I have already cleared that Soha is just my friend...
C-Acha...phir bhi itna gussaa...
Ma-Haa..wo toh hai...u r right Cabir...yeh girls na bahut ajeeb hai...mathlab...chahey wo pyaar ho,gussa ho,nafrath ho,jalan ho sab kuch..why they have to show them in the form of tears...??

Saying this,he tried to call Nandini.But she cut the call.

Manik immediately pulled Cabir and took a selfie in his room and sent to Nandini with a message
