CHAP 1:
Nandini was sitting in front of mirror of dressing table. Her mother was helping her to get ready. At the same time her father came to her room. nandini saw him through the mirror she immediately get up from chair and looked down.
"dekho nandini hamari baat se dhyan suno. Hum ne aaj tak aap ko na kbhi bhi kisi baat ke liye nhi roka hai, aapke ku6 bhi bolne se pehle wo sari khawishein aapki humne puri kr di hai, humne aapse aaj tak ku6 bhi nhi manga lekin aaj mangte hai hum aur hume puri ummed hain k aap wo denge hume hume mayus nhi karege hmmm?" her father asked in calm but demanding tone.
"ji..ji..appa aap jo..jo kahe wo" nandini said in hesitate tone because she knows her father. Her father never allows her for anything. With lots of difficulties her father allowed her for college.
"hume is rishte ke liye haan hi chaiye chahe ku6 bhi ho jaye, aap ko pata hai Malhotra family is most royal and prestigious family in India. Manik is not just a great politician leader but he is also handling his family business with so much hard work and because of that his companies are now on no.1 all over in world. Aur humne manik ko aapke liye chuna hai kyun ki hum aapke liye best chahte hai sab" her father said.
"manik ko pasand nhi hai k koi argument kre uske sath chahe wo galat ho yaa shi, wo jo bole wo sahi..usse zyada free and independent thoughts pasand nhi hai so yaad rakhna k aap uske samne jo bole wo soch samaj kr bolna hum iss rishte ko kisi bhi halat mein gawana nhi chahte" her father warned her and left form there.
Nandini looked at her mother and said "amma aap janti hai hum abhi aage padhna chahte hai, hum abhi shadi nhi krna chahte humare professor ne kaha hum bahot talented hai hume apni study ko continue rakhna chahiye"
Naina made her sit on chair and said "hum jante hai baccha agar aap na bhi bolti to bhi hume pata hai k hamari beti bahot talented hai pr I am sorry baccha hum aapke liye ku6 bhi nhi kr paa rhe hai"
Nandini faintly smiled and said "I know mamma hum jante hain, hum kahan mana kr rhe hai engagement ke liye hum abhi bahot chote hai maa shadi ki responsibility ke liye hume at least apni study to complete krni chahiye na?" her mother was only person in life and in this house with that she can share everything freely. Rishabh was also so close to her but he was very young so he couldn't understand her all problems. But they share very beautiful bonding. She never gets love from her father and her grandmother.
"to kya hua agar aapki study complete nhi hui hai to? Aapko kya krna hai aage padh kr? Itni a6i family main hai aap ko kya zaroorat hai aage padhne ki, Malhotra family ne samne se rishte bheja hai aur wo log shadi jaldi krna chahte hai aapko to apne aap ko khushnasib samaj na chaiye ke aapki shadi aise ghar mein hone wali hai" her amms said.
"is liye behtar hoga ki aap apne aap ko taiyar kr le iss rishte ke liye aur yaad rhe manik ke samne aisi koi bhi krna nhi jise aapke papa ka naam kharab hoga" nandini nodded in yes and at the same time servants inform them about malhotra's arrival.
Navya and cabir also came with Malhotra family. Navya and mukti both take permission from Nyonika and went to nandini's room to meet her.
Nandini was sitting on bed she was very nervous because for the first time she will talk to manik after that party where nandini fall in love with him.
FLASHBACK:
In murthy mansion there was a business party. Mr.murthy invited Malhotra family for his party. Everyone was enjoying party. Nandini was talking to her friend when his father calls her and introduced her with manik. When nandini looked at him and shake hand with him she fell in love with him. After that nandini share her feelings with mukti and navya. They were happy for their best friend but also feel bad because they knew manik's behavior.
FLASHBACK END:
Nandini came out from her thoughts when someone hugged her so tightly. Nandini smiled and she hugged them back.
"so nervous?" navya asked and they sat on bed.
"of course hum pehli baar unke samne jaa rhe hai aise aur unse baat kaise kr payege hum, unke samne to koi nhi bol pata hum kya bol payege?" nandini asked nervously.
"ohoo navya dekha humari nandu ko darr lag rha hai, jisne university main kitne sare logo ke samne speech di thi aur humare principal ne iss speech ke liye nandu ko gold medal diya tha wo nandu sirf ek person ke sath baat krne mein itna nervous ho rhi hai wow.." mukti said smilingly because she wants to distract her mind.
"mukti aap hume yahan pareshaan krni aayi hai yaan hume a6a feel karwane aayi hai?" nandini asked and pout her lips.
Before she could say anything servant knocked at her door and said "nandini didi aapko sir ne niche bulaya hai" and he went from there.
Nandini looked at herself in mirror and mukti and navya hugged her and said "don't worry everything will be okay..don't take so tension okay..bhai tumhe khan hi jayenge" navya said laughingly and mukti nodded her head in disbelief and nandini slapped her head and they went down.
Mukti sat beside abhi and navya sat beside cabir. Everyone was talking but one person was attentive in one thing and he was manik Malhotra. he was doing something in his phone when Nyonika said "mr.murthy ab hum nandini se milna chahte hai bahot besabri se hum unka intezaar kr rhe hai" mr.murthy gesture her wife to call nandini.
Naina went to kitchen to take nandini. Nandini came to hall with tray of tea and manik looked at her and he put his phone on pocket but nandini was looking down. Nandini put tray on table and Nyonika said "come here beta sit with me.." nandini looked at her mom and she nodded in yes.
Manik and Nyonika were sitting on one sofa. Nandini came to her and sit beside her and Nyonika was asking her about her hobbies, her education...nandini was answering her in very low tone and in very short answers just like her father and her grandmother wants to. Nandini was feeling so nervous because she was sitting very close to manik. but she has no guts to look at him.
"mr.murthy agar aap khe to hum chahte hai k nandini aur manik bhi ek baar baat kr le to a6a rahega" Nyonika said and mr.murthy nodded in yes. Nandini and manik went to their garden.
"kahan thi aap?" abhi whispered to mukti.
"wo..wo hum nandini ke pass gye the wo nervous feel kr rhi thi usne hume message kiya tha k hum unse milne jaye is liye hum aur navya mummy se pu6 kr gye the" mukti said in low tone.
"hum yahan manik bhai ke liye aaye the, aapke friend ke liye nhi baad mein bhi to mil skti thi aap unse kitna ajeeb lagta hai k aap unke pass chali gya aate hi aur yahan mummy akeli thi" abhi said sternly.
"I am sorry aage se hum dhyan rakhege iss baat ka ab aisa nhi hoga" mukti said and looked at him.
"ab to hume aadat ho gyi hai aapke sorry ki pata nhi kitni baar aap sorry bolti hai lekin galti se kbhi ku6 bhi sikhti nhi hai aap" abhi said and start talking to cabir and his mom. Navya looked at mukti and mukti gave a faint smile. Navya knew what happened with mukti because she knows her brothers behavior that's why she was convincing nandini to back off from marriage. She didn't want to get spoil nandini's life like mukti.
Manik sat on sofa and he arranged all pillows very nicely. He put his phone on table and comfortably sat on sofa and leaned his back on sofa and put his one leg's ankle on other leg's knee and slightly smiled to nandini.
Nandini was just staring at him without even blinking her eyes. Manik clicked his fingers in front of her and nandini looked down in embarrassment.
Nandini pour milk and put some tea and then she looked at him and asked "sugar?" and "one" manik said and nandini put sugar and stirred it and gave it to him. manik said thank you to her.
Manik take a sip from tea and said "nandini aap hume ku6 pu6e isse pehle hum aap ko ku6 batana chahte hai hamare bare may i?" nandini nodded in yes.
"hum bahot hi simple person hai hume zyada pasand nhi hai koi unchi awaaz mein humse baat kre.. hume arguments krna pasand nhi hai..humare liye hamari family sab se zyada important hai isliye hume bilkul bhi pasand nhi hai k kisi ki bhi wajah se hamari family ko koi problem aaye...hume gussa zyada nhi aata aur a6a hai k koi hume gussa na hi dilaye kyun ki jab hume gussa aata hai hum apne aap ko bilkul bhi rok nhi pate hai...bas itna hi hai humare bare jo apko jan na chahiye" manik said very calmly.
"ab agar koi sawal hai to aap pu6 skti hai humse" manik said and nandini nodded in no.
"to fir aap apne bare mein ku6 bataye" manik said and he fixed his frameless specs on his eyes and put his cup on table.
"act..actually hum bhi bahot simple girl hai...hume choti choti cheezein khushiyan deti hai...hum bhi apni maa se apni family se bahot pyar krte hai...hume music pasand hai bahot...hum apne friends se bahot hi zyada pyar krte hai aur hum..hum aage" nandini stammred and manik looked at her suspiciously.
"nandini aap jo chahe wo humse share kr skti hai, don't worry hum aapko kisi baat ke liye judge nhi karege" manik said.
"hu..hum aage study krna chahte hai..." nandini said hesitantly and looked at manik. he was looking at her. Now nandini was really scared because if manik will tell about that to her father.
"no..no ..sorry it was just my mistake..." nandini said in panic tone.
"relax...nandini relax its okay I have no problem agar aap aage study krna chahte hai to" manik said and nandini looked at him shockingly.
"sach..?" nandini asked cutely and manik nodded in yes.
"thank you so much manik aap nhi jante aapne hume kitni badi happiness di hai" nandini said smilingly and manik just nodded in yes.
"lekin humari ek condition hai" manik said and nandini looked at him confusingly.
"hum nhi chahte k aap study ke baad humse job krne ki demand kre kyun ki hum aapko job ke liye to kbhi haa nhi kahenge kyun ki humari family mein kbhi bhi kisi girl ko job krne ki permission nhi hai" manik said.
"aapko koi objection to nhi hai iss baat se?" manik asked and nandini nodded in yes.
After some talks they went to hall where everyone was waiting for them. Nyonika asked "so manik batayie aap ka answer kya hai?" and manik just nodded in yes everyone was so happy but nandini's father never asked her for her answer and said yes to them.
"beta aap khush hona?" nandini's mother asked her and nandini just nodded her head In yes. Nyonika came near nandini and made her ware her bangles. They fixed their engagement after two days and marriage after one month.
Nandini's father insist them for dinner and they said yes for dinner. Nandini's mother and nandini was arranging table and Nyonika was very happy after all after mukti she got daughter in law like nandini.
Manik and nandini's father were talking about business and drinking their wine. Mukti asked abhi for permission to help nandini when abhi said yes to her she went to kitchen to help nandini.
After dinner abhi and mukti went to house with cavya. Nyonika was talking to naina about nandini's dresses and jewelry. Nandini was standing in room's balcony when Nyonika sat in car manik was about to roll up windows when he saw nandini. Nandini also looked at him and manik fixed his specs and with his two fingers gesture her bye and nandini smiled.
