Here is another update of this story.

CHAPTER -36

After about 10 minutes, Manik came to the room with Nandini's gift and said- HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANDINI...

Nandini looked at Manik who was standing infront of her and

she jumped in joy seeing the gift.

(It was a teddy bear with red T-shirt on which the words Happy Birthday Nandini were written)

Nandini Oh my god... It's so cuteee... Ye mere liye?

Manik -Yes. It's for you.

Manik gave the stuffed toy to Nandini.

Nandini - Thank you so much Manik. It's so soft.

She said this hugging the teddy.

Manik smiled at Nandini's childish antics and asked - Do you like it.

Nandini - Like?? I toh loved it.

Thank you thank you so much for this. But apko kaise pata Chala ki Hume ye pasand hai?

Manik - Bas pata chalgaya kahi se ki u have the habit to sleep hugging stuffed toys . So I brought this for you.

Nandini kept the teddy bear aside and said- Haan. I used to sleep hugging stuffed toys but mujhe Ab iski zarurat nahi hai.

Manik - Kyu???

Nandini - Kyunki Ab mai is teddy ko hug karke thode hi na soungi. Mai to aap ko hug karke soungi.

Nandini said all this in flow.

Then she realised what she said and bit her tongue.

Manik smirked hearing this.

But he pretended to not hear it and asked - What?? Come again... Maine suna nahi abhi Jo tumne kaha.

Nandini avoided eye contact with Manik and said- Maine Kaha Kuch kaha. Maine to Kuch kaha hi nahi.

Manik - Acha. Par Maine to suna Jo tumne kaha.

Nandini to avoid being teased said - Nahi Maine Kuch nahi kaha. May you are just imagining. Mujhe to bahut neend aarahi hai. Mai sone jaarahi hu. Good night.

Saying this Nandini was about to go to sleep when Manik held her hand and pulled her close to him.

Manik - Tum Kuch bhool to nahi rahi ho?

Nandini - Kya?

Manik - My reward

Nandini - Reward???

Manik - Haan reward... You know Ma tumhare liye ye teddy itni raat ko lekar aaya. So don't I deserve a reward for this.

Nandini - Ahh... Reward. Ok. Close your eyes.

Manik - What?

Nandini - Aankhein band karo. Tabhi reward milega.

Manik - Okay.

With this Manik closed his eyes.

Nandini tried to kiss Manik on his lips but couldn't gather courage and instead kissed Manik's cheek.

To this Manik opened his eyes and looked into Nandini's eyes.

Manik - What? I didn't mean this. This is totally not fair. I need a bigger reward. You know what I mean.

Nandini- Raat bahut hogayi hai. Ab sojao. Jitna reward mila hai usi me Khush raho. Ok.

Nandini freed herself from Manik's grip.

Manik again pulled her back and said - Reward to mai aaj lekar rahunga by hook or by crook. You think you are too smart huh... Well let me tell you that I have my ways to get my reward.

Saying this Manik started tickling Nandini.

Nandini - Manik... no. . Hahaha... stop... Hahaha...

Manik and Nandini fell on the bed laughing. Nandini on top of Manik.

They shared a cute eyelock.

Nandini stopped laughing and bent down and pressed her lips onto Manik's lips.

Manik switched their positions and came over Nandini.

Manik deepened the kiss and was sucking the lower lip of Nandini.

Nandini did the same with Manik's upper lip.

The kiss was passionate and intense . Nandini moaned in Manik's mouth.

Manik on realising that Nandini was out of breath left her lips and kissed Nandini's cheeks one by one and then kissed her neck.

Manik slid down Nandini's dress off her shoulder and was about to kiss her there but Nandini stopped him.

Manik looked into Nandini's eyes with a questioning look.

Nandini - Manik I need some time to take our relation to the next level. Please don't get me wrong it's just that I...

Manik sat straight on his side of the bed.

Nandini too got up and said - Manik you have all the rights over me. If you still want to... then i won't stop u.

Manik - Shhh.. I can understand Nandini. Take your time. I m in no hurry.

Nandini kissed Manik's cheek and hugged him .

Manik hugged her back and kissed her forehead.

Manik - Waise Agar tum chaho to you can hug me and sleep just like you said sometime back.

Nandini smiled and rested her head over Manik's chest and they slept in the same position.

P.S- There are certain instances of ky2 . I have purposely added them to retain the MANAN magic.

CHAPTER -37

Manik woke up the next morning and realised the position of him and Nandini.

They were in the same position as they had slept last night.

Manik smiled and pecked Nandini's forehead .

Nandini woke up and looked at Manik and said with a broad smile on her face - Good Morning Manik...

Manik - Morning Nandini... Waise Nandini tumne Jo kaha tha raat ko do you really mean it?

Nandini sat straight and said- Kis baare me baat kar rahe ho aap Manik?

Manik - Tumne kaha tha na ki you don't need any stuffed toys as you will sleep by hugging me instead. Did you really mean it?

Nandini blushed and said - Wo... wo to Maine aise hi flow me keh diya tha...

Manik - Ohhh... So you didn't mean what you said.

Nandini - No I meant what I said.

Then Nandini bit her tongue and looked down.

Manik - Hmmm... That means you don't need This teddy bear anymore. Coz now you have me in its place at your service.

Saying this Manik bowed down his head before Nandini.

Nandini - Manik... Aap Hume tease kar rahe ho?

Manik smiled and said- No ... not at all.

Nandini - Then it's Ok. Sochna bhi mat mujhe tease karne ke baare me. Warna...

Manik - Warna Kya...

Saying this Manik pulled Nandini to him. And Nandini fell on Manik.

Nandini - Warna mai Navya ko bata doongi.

Manik - R u trying to threaten me?

Nandini - Kuch aisa hi samajh lo.

Manik - Mai nahi darta Navya se.

Nandini - Acha... Dekhte hai...

Saying this Nandini took her mobile and was about to dial Navya's number when Manik stopped her and said- Nandini... It's Ok na. Itni Subah subah kisiko disturb karna achi baat nahi hai.

Nandini - -Manik seedhe seedhe boliye na ki Navya se dar gaye aap. Ye bahane mat banaiye.

Manik - Ok fine... I admit. But don't call Navya.ok.

Nandini - Good. Waise mai to call kar bhi nahi rahi thi. I was just kidding.

Saying this Nandini started to laugh.

Manik - Acha... So you are Trying to act smart with me.

Nandini - I am not trying... I am already smart.

Manik switched their positions and pinned Nandini to the bed as he came over her.

Manik - If you are really smart, Ab escape karke dikhao.

Saying this Manik bent down and was about to kiss Nandini when Nandini said - Mummyji aap???

Manik immediately turned to see if Nyonika was there in the room.

Nandini took this opportunity and pushed Manik slightly and ran to the washroom taking her clothes by showing her tongue to Manik.

Manik - This is not fair Nandini.

Manik heard the giggles of Nandini from the washroom and ruffled his hair.

Nandini took a bath and came out wearing a peach color anarkali and churidar.

She did very little makeup and left her hair open.

Manik took a bath and came out.

Nandini was all ready by then.

Nandini - Manik aap mujhe college drop kardoge please. I am already late.

Manik - What??? R u serious? Tum college nahi jarahi ho aaj.

Nandini - But why?

Manik came close to her and said- Because... My dear wifey today is your birthday and I don't want you to attend college .

Aaj tum ghar pe hi rahogi. Understood...

Nandini snaked her arms around Manik's neck and said- Acha... Mai ghar pe rahungi aur aap office jaoge. Aise to mai bore hojaungi.

Manik pulled Nandini towards him by holding her waist and said- Kisne kaha ki mai office jaraha hu. No I am not going. I wanted to spend the whole day with you so I have decided not to attend the office today.

Nandini - That is so sweet of you. Thanks Manik.

Manik - Thanks kis liye?

Nandini - For coming in my life. For not giving up on me. For always being with me. Aap hamesha se meri care karte the . But us incident ne mujhe aap Par doubt karne ko majboor kardiya. I am really sorry for that.

Manik - Shhh... Jo hogaya so hogaya. Purani baatein yaad karne se Kuch hasil nahi hoga.

Nandini - Yes. YOU are right. But can I ask you something? Sach sach jawab dena.

Manik - Haan. Pucho...

Nandini - Wo Nisha... Nisha aur apke beech... mera Matlab hai ki ...

Manik - Nandini I can understand what you are trying to ask. And You have every right to know .

Today I will tell you everything.

Manik held Nandini's hand and took her to the bed and made her sit.

He himself sat beside Nandini and said- Nandini first of all I would like to tell you that my marriage with Nisha was just to protect her mother.

Maa and Swara Mom had met 2 years back and became good friends.

She had a heart attack 2 years back due to some financial issues and she wanted to get Nisha married as early as possible so that if something happens to her, Nisha won't be left alone.

She talked to Maa about Nisha's marriage and Maa asked me to get married to Nisha.

I didn't want to get married at that time but due to pressure from Maa I had to agree.

But Nisha had aspirations to become an actress/model.

She had even attempted to run away from her house on the wedding day.

When Swara Mom came to know it, she tried to kill herself by consuming poison.

On that day I assured her that I will take Nisha's responsibility till my last breath.

Nisha had to eventually agree to marry me. But she put a condition before me that she wants to pursue her career even after marriage to which I agreed.

This fact is not known to Maa and Swara Mom till now.

We always pretended to be a happily married couple but in reality we were not. Our relation was not of a husband wife. We have lived as strangers till now.

Nandini -

But Manik don't get me wrong. If you and Nisha didn't have a happy married life then what about Nisha's pregnancy...

Who is the father of the child?

Manik - Nandini... Do you trust me?

Nandini - Yes I do...

Manik - Nisha loved someone but he left her. So I am the father of the child. And I have promised Nisha that I will take full responsibility of the child no Matter what.

And I hope you will support me in this. Will you?

Nandini - Ofcourse Manik I will definitely will always stand by you no matter what.

Manik - Thanks Nandini.

Nandini hugged Manik and said- You don't have to thank me .

Manik smiled hearing Nandini's words and hugged her back.
