After trying hard for couple of years to create buzz and attract instant viewership by casting popular and much expensive actors like Karanvir sharma, Shakti Arora, Arjun Bijlani, Shabir, Dheeraj, Sriti, Avinash Reiki etc. in their new or ongoing serials with average production quality, lousy story plots and weak execution, need to see how long this changed strategy sustains and works for Z.
(come December 2024 high chance ONLY Sriti from above list will be active expensive popular star among Z serials still left, even Shradda may go on mat leave)

Even KMTMG doesn't have much time. At the rate at which they are going, maybe even Sriti will have to quit.

not all Hindi TV serials are for Sony that Ek is planning in 2025, as per some spoilers.

SP, Colors, Zee, Sony all main GECs combined is 4-5.

For SP its some Kaise Yeh Mohabbatein daily serial, for Colors its weekly Naagin franchise plus another daily fiction, for Zee its Shabir's upcoming one, for Sony its KP's so all main GECs combined list is 4-5 for 2025 launch, so far coming in from spoilers.

I think owing to legal trouble caused by her app shows, maybe she is slowly coming back to TV. Otherwise in the past 2-3 years, if she had 2-3 shows on air across all the GECs, that would be a big thing.

Of course, I could be totally wrong on this, but it's surprising when suddenly she decides to make 4-5 new shows.

Ek in recent years focused much more on Balaji motion pictures making theatrical feature films not just OTT ones, she hardly spent efforts, money, creative brains or time on BT serials. But not all those gave her commercial successes.

TV serials assure stable revenues for most regular producers with retained crew members and studio set lease expenses taken care of, BT is a listed company she & her mom have to show continuous revenues and profits. There was NO new TV show in 2024 for major Hindi GECs from BT, weekly Naagin 6 ended mid of 2023, Prachand Ashok was a disaster.

All 4 stagnated TV serials currently on air BL, KKB, KDB for Zee and Parineeti for Colors are handled by sample couple 'The Nagpals' writers and it looks like both channels gave serious final ultimatums to BT, and already SP pulled down that long stagnated multiple gen leaps YHC this year. Ek's entire BT crew can become job less with deep fall in revenues in 2025, so looks like she got forced to wake up from deep slumber to revive BT on priority.. plus to sustain brand name.

Bringing my post from analysis thread here, as it may be more relevant.

If its true Shabir is coming back to work with Ek for a new Zee serial in some early 2025 launch, then both he & Ek will max demand same 9pm time slot from channel to get back most of the old family audiences attention.. if 3rd gen KKB still runs by then aiming to reach 3000 episodes mark, then it can shift to early 6.30pm or 7pm time slot, simple.

My guess Sriti will quit or KMTMG will end soon.. by that time Shabir's new BT serial may launch on Z.

Both Mukta & Prateek as per earlier spoilers were promised new serials by Z in 2025. Prateek is already coming up with recycled Jamai Raja story, and Mukta might start pre-production of new Z serial after her Colors new show with Adnan starts.

btw, BT as a PH barely has high budget TV shows or popular stars in currently on air 4 boringly dragged daily serials, read that Ek wants to sign KP, Divyanika & Urvashi for a new Sony TV fiction, then this also will be an expensive show. She is planning to repeat popular YHM jodi after so long on TV for that nostalgic feeling and instant buzz.. now that itself is a big news. as Ek doesn't usually prefer repeat of her serials jodi's on TV.
