This is an out of context but somewhat related post. This is about the progressive growth and appreciation for Mrunal Thakur who played Purab/Arjit/s Bulbul in KKB and sister to Pragya/Sriti. I really applaud the way Mrunal has risen to the status of a well acknowledged Bollywood and South Indian star. After her good performances in many Hindi serials and the international film Sonia and the recent South Indian movies(esp, Sita Raman) she has secured a place as a good Indian film actor. She takes care to dress well in good chosen elegant outfits and colors, a very large improvement from her earlier ones. I saw an insta picture of her sitting with utter confidence in between A.R. Rahman and Tamil actor Vikram in the recent IIFA award show in Abu Dhabi. Also, in the acting categories, she got a joint best actress award along with Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was honoured with the award for Performance in a Leading Role (Female) for her captivating portrayal in 'Ponniyin Selvan: II', while Mrunal Thakur received the same recognition for her performance in 'Hi Nanna'.
This SM thread was idling..so want to share something here related to an old Z show,
though I'm not a regular watcher.
RSHD was few times pretty close to shutdown last year and also current year.
. Either channel management has been too considerate to producer Prateek, or since its the only Muslim background show on their channel, they were still continuing it with constant leaps and shocking twists by banking solely on popular star cast,
where as writing and execution been pathetic many times, with even mockery of Muslim culture.
After authorized news came last month in media about Rabb being pulled off in Oct, as post its 7pm slot shift this show failed to create buzz, wasn't getting considerable weekly ratings, nor grabbing audience attention,
may be as a do or die attempt producer, maker & writers seem to have put in some desperate yet brainy efforts last one month to save their show. They made FL smart, strong, powerful and revolt by fighting openly against wrongs being done by her hubby ML & vamp (or second lead?). This current track seems working better, there's also positive buzz now
and channel has given PH another extension. (despite rumors that Dheeraj may join BB soon).
Its again an indication TV audiences in recent years are giving least importance to popular star cast in fiction shows after initial buzz and openings..
its relatable main characters, believable plots and twists with some hope is what can sustain attention for long with meaningful / powerful promos & precaps, that build positive anticipation.
Compare it with KMTMG teams efforts last two months, despite being on radar post 7.30 slot change on same channel, most of us watching / following KMTMG are feeling cringe, yawning, frowning, disconnected, confused, disappointed 
that too frequently on many factors.
Sharing last few promos released by Z about RSHD, for reference here, none of them seem misleading to episodes actually telecast.

When is Ammu going to wake up? 
Some solace she hasn't yet gone 'mein shaadi ke is pavitra bandhan ko jee jaan se nibhavungi... mein mere saare vachnao ko nibhavungi'.
May be Zee should have a talk with the PH too to wake them up. But can they deliver even if they wake up - I doubt it. apart from a couple or more scenes so far, they haven't shown signs they have it in them.

And trp rise by 0.1 isn’t going to take them down a peg. Coming to think of it, almost all zee shows rose by 0.1, except RSHD and BL (I think)
One more show is coming up on zee stars rajshree thakur and yogendra vikram singh shooting started produced by zee studio.
Is there any current Hindi daily serial worth to watch, atleast to give a decent try? can someone recommend..
For years avoided checking most of those SP super rich joint family kitchen politics dramas or two women crazily after a man dramas, that come and go with refurbished same templates 
and ofcourse long running serials are boring gen leaps bound..
Recent years I have mostly tried Sab & Sony fiction shows even though many were finite, but last couple months most serials got shut down as these channels are under revamp cycle. So I'm barely getting to watch TV serials, other than checking Kmtmg on Z.
No comments till we see concept teaser/trailer or pre-launch promos.. bcoz its proven Z team and its producers doesn't know well how to utilize and respect senior, experienced talented cast.
