EKTA KAPOOR SOAP QUEEN……….the closest she will be to being a queen of soap is a bar of soap. The problem is that Ekta knows she has cornered the market and as long as she has the backing of STAR TV the world or at least Indian TV is her oyster. She is without doubt a clever lady and one that found the niche in the market and has exploited it to the max. She will be successful as long as people watch her serials, those who continue to watch do not watch it for the stories but actors or certain developments they want to see in the storyline which nine times out of 10 never happen.

Ekta has made a mockery of Indian culture and its values, no one says that modern India is not as developed as western countries but there is something underlying that makes us value certain beliefs and values, it is these values that separate us from the western world even though we live in places like London etc. She has made each show a laughing stock, where you have no value for human emotions, the sacredness of marriage, friendship, love, respect for elders, and respect for women why would you want to watch such shows. I feel more anger towards Ekta because each show she makes is female centric yet each female is feeble and the characterization is completely removed from reality. To attract audiences you have to give that little bit extra that no other serial offers, Ekta just regurgitates the same storyline again and again to the point of madness.

i think ppl watch her crap only becoz of their fav starts ..for example ...we used to saw KTH becoz of rajeev ...some still watch it due to aamna ...after then what they will stop watching it ....ppl watch KYPH ..becoz of hottest hunk iqbal khan although i never comment on that forum not regularly ..at least three times in a month when i get time i watch that show ...reason i m iqbal's fan .....i love iq-neha jodi ..so not just coz of stories ..which are usually same ppl watch due to actors ..so ekta ka koi kammal nahi hai!

So Aamna it means that you can watch anything ..just to have a glimpse of your favourite actor . No this is not true. Dont you feel sometimes that you are doing something wrong ... you are encouraging them to go on , People have rejected Iq in films and so he landed here ..that means TV audience are taken for granted .. whatever shown to them ..they will digest .Ronit roy was total faliure on Indian screen and he is the hottest guy on TV . Is that means that rejected stuff from films can be the biggest superstar of Indian television.

There are some really good actors of yesteryears who are working in films and TV .like Kanwaljeet , Kiran kumar, Farida jalal. neena gupta, Rita bhaduri, who work in good serials .

So if they can differentiate between good and bad then why not we.

that's what i told di its only in our hands...someone watches a serial for one and someone for other...its only we who had made movie stars a hit actors of tv....its totally our fault....whether to watch or not any soap is in our hands only....we only encouraged these stuffs na so we are suffering now...its our fate....unless n until everybody unites we can't do anything

WHY EKTA SERIALS R SO POPULAR...?

Lemme answer dis Q. Main.....reason ekta starts her serial wid.....a love story.....n 99% of us get attracted to it...... ...even i am included in tht.....den slowly n gradually her serials take dese disgusting twists.....n turns......n most importantly she....separates da two lovers.....n wid da hope tht dey will meet one day we keep on watching dese crap serials......n most importantly she shows such a lavish lifestyle.....tht we all r helpless infront of it.....n must say her actors r da main reason 4 us watching dese serials.....we start to like dese actors n evryday just to catch a glimpse of dem....we watch dese serials..must say she is a very clever n good business women....NOT a soap Queen....coz.....just to generate her business she is.....using all da business tactics such as marketing promotions n packaging (inform of....lavish sets n good actors) very accurately... .....

Actually i agree tht dese serials r a source of entertainment 4 all of us....BUT......deir is a limit.....wen da serial has reached a saturatuion point......Miss kapoor shud simply END IT......so tht people remember it as one of her good works....n not....start protesting da way we r doing.....

Today TV is at its worst phase.Its going behind, its not showing any signs of development.There's no creativity left.

Like films TV should also have a censor board.
And also all the awards for TV should be banned or they should make a rule that a actor or a serial once nominated should not be nominated again.No more catogories for the longest running serial.

The channel should take up the serials which have a start......have a story line that sticks to the basic concept of the story...... and have a proper end to the serial.

ya in a way we are encouraging these actors to carry on with these stupid serials. I dont like watching my favourite star doing any crap.

All the good actors who carve for creative satisfaction dont do any craps, they prefer doing something which they have never done before, where they get a chance to show there acting skills.
