Chapter 19
The next morning everyone woke up late in the morning except for Adi because he had work to do and Mayuri and Parvati because they had to prepone the wedding for the next day instead of day after tomorrow because the priest wasn't available that day and the next date of marriage was after 6 months, so everyone was busy with the preparations, soon Kunal, Anjali, Shivani, Tannu, Bharat came for breakfast after a few minutes Maithlli and Laksh came down together and sat at the breakfast table, Adi came at the same time with a phone in his hand dressed in his casual wear while everyone was still in thier night suits. Adi took a seat across form Maithlli staring continually at her to make sure she was alright and slept well. The concern in his was clearly seen by Maithlli and she gave him a reassuring smile, after that smile and noticing she slept good he went back to talking to Laksh while although Maithlli had slept good that night but all she could think about was how comfortable she was sharing her horrible past with Adi and she'd never shared this with anyone else other than Mukti but Adi, Adi was different; when he told her he was there for her it meant something special to her and she stayed up all night thinking about him, while Maithlli was thinking this Mayuri walked in with 3 maids by her side.
"Good morning", Mayuri greeted.
"Good morning mom, why are you in a rush?" Tannu asked.
"Well honey the wedding is preponed for tomorrow because of many reasons." Parvati said walking in.
"What!!!"Adi shouted.
"Yes so today we have a lot of work to do Adi, Maithlli, Anjali, and Kunal there are two designers coming to help with your dresses so you will have to stay at home while Tannu, Bharat, Laksh and Shivani have to go shopping with me and oh Mamma will stay home to supervise Mayuri announced."
But mom I don't have time for all of this, I have got to attend three meetings plus I… ", Adi began but got interrupted by Mayuri.
"You are not going anywhere Adi, you always work and tomorrow is your wedding day we have a lot of work do to so you are not going anywhere, today you will stay by Maithlli's side" Mayuri said sternly.
"Fine", Adi said frowning and left for the living room so he could cancel all the meetings.
"This boy I tell you, now you only can handle him Maithlli." Mayuri sighed and left. Everyone else also got up and left to get dressed while Anjali, Kunal and Maithlli stayed back to talk about Maithlli and Adi's marriage...
"Look guys my step dad wants me to marry, and Kunal you know I can't ruin my life by listening to him and plus Adi proposed me because neither him nor me want to hurt anyone's feelings, we will live the way we want and maybe as friends", Maithlli said, while Anjali and Kunal weren't quite sure about the whole thing but Kunal thought to himself "Adi can't get a better girl than Maithlli because she is the only one to stand up to him whenever he's wrong and unlike other girls she hasn't got her eyes on his money, looks or his high society position, and even Maithlli cant get a better guy as Adi can give her all the happiness she deserves plus they were quite similar nice, short tempered, stubborn ,smart. Who knows maybe this might work out after all, they might even fall in Love."
He knew this since he'd seen the sparks when they were together and how Adi cared for her, and admired her.
After few hours Maithlli, Kunal and Anjali joined Adi in the living room who was muttering something angrily under his breath. After a few minutes two designers walked in with bags one was a guy in his mid 30s and a woman in her mid 20s she had rich blonde hair.
The guys name was Mr. Paul and the woman's name was Ms. Rose the guy took Anjali and Kunal to a different room while Adi and Maithlli stayed in the living room with Ms. Rose.
"Wow, I can't believe I finally meeting you Mr. Mehra. Congrats for your marriage lots of girl's hearts are going to break tomorrow", Ms. Rose said shaking hands with him and Maithlli.
"Thank you Ms. Rose I know I am gonna break a lot of hearts tomorrow but I can't help it", Adi said smirking at Maithlli.
"Great, wonderful, mind blowing just what I needed from this idiot and his stupid ego. He has so much attitude, my bad luck I'm gonna marry him." Maithlli thought annoyed.
"Umm Ms. Rose if you don't mind can we start ", Maithlli said annoyed while Adi gave her his famous Vikram Aditya Mehra grin.
"Sure", Ms. Rose said taking her designs out.
After two hours of going through designs after design arguing with each other they finally agreed to Maithlli was going to wear a Red wedding dress with sequins and glitters and after presuading and fighting a lot with Adi, Maithlli got him to wear a sherwani which was cream with a red stole. After the designers left they helped everyone set up for tomorrow wedding and went to sleep early, while everyone slept peacefully Adi and Maithlli took a lot of tossing and turning around because they knew they would be known as Husband and wife same time tomorrow and they didn't even Love each other and the thought of them sharing a room from the next day onwards scared them.

THE WEDDING DAY:
The next morning Mayuri was downstairs screaming at the top of lungs at the maids to get everything done and all the guys were having a bachelors party thrown for Adi and Kunal, while Tannu and Shivani put mehndi on Maithlli and Anjali because the wedding was in Indian, British style but mostly Indian because Anjali and Maithlli preferred the Indian style. Then after the Mehndi they went to get thier hair done make up done for the wedding.
Soon it was evening, and time for wedding Laksh was wearing a light blue sherwani and Bharat was wearing a light brown sherwani they were checking the girls out while Adi stood near the priest in his cream Sherwani and red stole and Kunal in black cream sherwani waiting impatiently for thier brides to be. Tannu was wearing a yellow gold lehnga and she was walking down the stairs with Maithlli. Shivani wore light blue lehnga and was bringing Anjali down who was wearing a pink lehnga.
As Kunal saw Anjali he couldn't take his eyes off Anjali she looked beautiful in a Pink wedding dress and her hair in curls soon she came down and stood beside with Kunal while Adi couldn't take his eyes off Maithlli, she looked stunning, her hair in a elegant bun with few strands on her face and she was wearing a red wedding dress.
First the priest chanted a few mantras and then the brides and grooms putted the varmala around another's necks then the sindoor (vermillion) in her hair and then after the priest said a few things Adi had to bend down and kiss Maithlli on the lips, since it was a British and Indian wedding. Both of them were nervous but they had to do it Adi gave her a quick peck before it could deepen into a passionate one like always. Now they were truly Husband and wife till death then it was Anjali and Kunal's turn.
Soon Mayuri led Adi ,Maithlli, Kunal and Anjali in the house after few rituals as Marriage was complete and it was time for everyone to go to sleep, as the brides and grooms got up to go Tannu and Bharat blocked thier ways.
"Not like that my dear brothers you have to lift my Bhabhi's in your arms and take them to your room." Tannu said giggling away. Kunal took the chance and quickly took Anjali in his arms and left for his room upstairs. Adi didn't want to do that but with Tannu pestering him he lifted Maithlli in his arms and took her upstairs, all the way they both were staring in each others eyes. Still in Adi's arms Maithlli opened the door to "thier" bedroom; it was beautifully decorated with rose petals and scented candles everywhere the atmosphere was quite romantic.
Adi carried her to the bed and dropped her gently on the bed he was getting up to leave when her magulster got stuck to his dress he got pulled down on her and thier lips lightly brushed but Adi couldn't control himslef and Kissed her passtionately and Maithlli kissed him back also he formed his hands around her back untying her laces of her dress then making his way to her hair and taking her clip of the bun and letting it fall down to her shoulders he started making his way down to her neck kissing her neck passtionately.

"What's wrong with me, what's wrong with YOU", he snapped at her scaring her.
"Huh", Maithlli said confused. Adi got up from the couch and stood face to face to her and stared at her angrily while Maithlli stared back obviously.
"Don't act so innocent, your lover Kunal came to call you to you to his room he said he had to discuss something important with you", Adi said angrily.
"Discuss with me something important?" Maithlli said questioningly.
"C'mon don't tell me you don't know IMPORTANT means the only thing to a married man after his marriage with his first love and you are his second love interest. " Adi said angrily.
"Look Adi I am not that kind of a woman."Maithlli said in defensively almost on the verge of tears.
