Meet The Characters : Sonu Sweety

Sweety

A beautiful but crazy punjaban , whose rawness gives her an innocent charm. She is never afraid of speaking her mind and experimenting things which make her husband go mad.Her special quality is "Baal ki khaal nikalna".Loves bossing over her husband but her world starts from her husband and ends at him.

Sonu

A bechara looking husband junior manager in a corporate house.He is always struggling to deal with his wife and boss.A man with whom viewers will naturally relate to as the next door man. His special quality is that "hamesha kissi bojh ka maara".His life revolves round his office and home, without a respite.

Puppy

Sweety's darling brother and Sonu's jobless brother-in-law. He has come to live with his sister in order to make it in Mumbai, but only comes up with ridiculous schemes
Always messing everything up, yet thinks that there is no one to match his intelligence.His schemes, that embarrasses Sonu, are usually a cause of fights between Sonu & Sweety.

Mr. Chadda

Malhotra's colleague .The anti-thesis of Sonu Malhotra
He is a smooth talker and can impress anyone; very sought after at parties.Unlike Sonu Malhotra, he knows how to impress the boss.He is a bachelor and does not believe in marriage.

Mr O.K. Babbar

He is into business of money lending . The people in the society are scared of him. Is typical Punjabi chauvinistic man who likes to dominate his wife.

Mrs. Babbar

A lady with looks reverse to her husband and Knows him in and out.She keeps praising her husband .Very happy as long as Mr. Babbar's 'talents' serve her ends or changes loyalties very quickly.

Boss

A funny man,keeps on giving advice to Sonu.Sonu with all hard work never has come clean in front of boss.But as an when required ,he comes to resque as well.

Secretary

The Boss's dear secretary and hotty of the office.A beautiful girl and little manipulative to get her work done through her colleagues.sweety hates her name in the house and sometimes even doubts Malhotra for spending over time when Rita is around.Smart with words and actions!

Mrs. Shah

Sweety's neighbour who loves boasting about everything – her sister sending her dollars from USA… till buying the latest washing machine.She always influences Sweety, leading to a fight between Sonu and sweety.

Neeru Vohra

Younger sister of Sweety, got married some time back.
Bubbly,enchanting well educated girl shares a friendly relation with her brother-in-law Sonu.Belongs to upper middle class family as her husband works abroad.

Mr Khan

A wanabe shayar with two wives pretends to rule both of them , though on contrary he becomes sheepish in their presence.Loves hovering around in search of respite from his wives scolding.

Salma (Mrs. Khan Senior)

First wife of Mr. Khan and leaves no occasion of humiliating him. A homemaker but quiet imperious towards her husband because of his irksome behavior.
