Even if Star P wanted the story changed and Anukriti married (may coz another love triangle with sisters was gaining TRP) why did they have to ruin the main characters too to make it happen?

Instead of going into sudden physical intimacy, they could have shown the leads having a bonding post Dr. R's death nd people around them misunderstanding. The intimacy should have been unplanned and then Anu should immediately considered divorce and not continued with a wife for family and one for my heart! That would have been the decency expected of a hero
