Chapter - 1
Anubhav kulshresth was a man of morals and ethics
He loved his family and he trusted them more than anything
That exact reason why he agreed to the wedding
Coming to his wedding i.e his personal life
He never had a girlfriend
Well he was a super studious kid so
When he entered college when all his friends were busy dating
He is working and research about everything and anything that could gain him more knowledge
After his undergraduate courses
He immediately applied for masters
And thankfully got the seat !
And even here
He didn't date
Not that he didnt get any attention or something
He did A LOT
Girls flirted with him
Some even proposed
But he.....He denied
Why ? Maybe you can say he never found
"The one" he was searching for !
And finally
After taking a drop year before joining his PhD program
He dated....for the first time.
The reason was well very different then the usual " I like her "
He ended the relationship within 5 days
Saying " Sorry I don't think it will work "
Why you ask ?
Cuz his heart and mind was stuck on that one girl who kissed him in the middle of the road and left saying a "sorry"
Heck He doesn't even know her name or her face!
she came like a wind and disappeared
Only if he knew
He felt guilty for dating an other person when his mind was filled with a complete other person
So he broke up.
And now looking at gungun sometimes he can't help but kinda feel like he seems to be cheating on her tho they weren't even actually officially engaged.

He went back to the day when he just completed his master's and decided to drop an year before pursuing his dream i.e PhD.
Upon been advised by his professor to work in a good company for a while before joining PhD program
He decided to give it a go.
"Oh god idk what am I even doing here all I wanted was to become a good professor but here I'm giving a interview for this deskjob I don't even like !" Thought Anubhav
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard his name being called indicating it was his turn for the interview
giving a qiuck "hope everything happens for good" prayer he went in
Exactly 20 mins later he came out of the room and smiled at himself
"feels great when someone praises about your studies! But let's be always down to earth and work more harder" thinking this
He calls his family
"Ji bade papa haan acha ga interview.....unnhe mera resume acha aaga par abhi aage ka pata nahi aur bade pape woah yug bhaiya ko pls yaad dilana ki mujhe pick up karle mein woh traffic signal ke paas khada rahunga....okay bade papa milta hu "
He smiled thinking how happy his bade papa sounded and it made him happier that it was him who made them happy this moment.
Keeping all his things in his bag and thanking God for the wonderful family he has been blessed with
He left the office.
in less than 5 minutes he reach the traffic lights waiting for his yug bhaiya to come and pick him up as his bike was given for its servicing.
His phone ringed and he picked up.
"Haan bhaiya kaha ho ? ......aap Neeti bhabhi se milne ja rahe ho ??" He said laughing
He was soo happy for his brother
He was going to get married in 10 days !
Neeti bhabhi was one of the nicest and sweetest person!
They would make a great pair !
"Achha thik hai jaayiye...mein woh opposite restaurant mein rahunga phir! Jaldi aana"
He said and hung up
He crossed the road and he went in a restaurant opposite.
he sat in the first seat he could find and he quickly ordered chocolate milkshake his favourite.
He could he could hear a few "yayyyyyyy" and "Woohoo" from the corner of the almost vacant restaurant
his first thought was to call the waiter and ask him to tell them to lower their voices but he decided against it since he was already very tired and the day being super hot already drained all the energy he was left with
so he just looked at them they looked like at least 4 years younger
sighing he just put his airpods on and played his favourite playlist waiting for the chocolate milkshake.

He came out of the restaurant and was looking for his brother when suddenly he heard someone...a female voice whisper in his ear probably meant something like
"This means nothing"
Before even he had the time to understand what she said he felt her lips on his on his face a bit too close to his mouth
Before even he could react
the girl said "sorry"
And left
It took Annu a while to recover and process what all happened in a span of 30 seconds
And when he actually processed what exactly happened with him he looked around found the girl long gone
he was so so shocked by what happened at he just stood there still with his bag on the ground and him looking like he just saw a zombie and human hugging each other !
That's how Yug found his dear brother
"Ayee Annu kaha khoya hai ?? Ghar nahi jaana kya ? Bhetna jaldi ! "
Yug's voice bought him out of his world
"Annu tu thik hai nah ? Tera chahra kyu itna lal hai ? Bukhar vukhar kuch hai kya ?" Yug asked touching Annu's forehead
Annu didnt reply and just said "challo ghar chalte hain pehle"
Cuz he knew even if his face was probably looking like beetroot right now it wouldn't be because of fever
It's probably because of something which just happened with him
The fact that someone kissed him
In the middle of the main road
Out of nowhere
And his first ever kiss was stolen by a girl .....a complete stranger !
He came back home and was greeted by my smiling mother
They then had a family talk and them telling him about how Proud they are of him
Usually annu would listen to every single thing and take blessings from all of the elders before heading to his room
But today all he could think of was the girl and the KISS
He excused himself...told them he was tired and headed to his room
Closed the door and thought of what happened again....

He at first was angry
But when he rewinded the scene in his head
He realised it didn't actually feel bad
Tho he didn't see her face and obviously didn't know her name
He smelt her perfume a sweet smell of vanilla and citrus making him blush
All he could remember in the girl was just the Colour of her dress a yellow dress
That's it !
Annu just brushed off all the emotions he was feeling as an adrenaline rush and freshed up and decided not to think about it again !

The next couple of days were super busy and it kept him occupied
After the yug's marriage
The house become more cheerful keeping him away from the thoughts of That One Kiss and that girl
And soon his confirmation for the job internship he applied for bought him loads of stress and work.
But that doesn't actually mean he never thought about her
She always occupied his thoughts
He was frustrated to the point where he decided to date his colleague who kept flirting with him
He was glad he soon realised the huge mistake he committed and broke it off after apologizing
That day he decided not to think and dwell upon the baseless topic anymore cuz after that day he never saw her again
Everytime he goes to that restaurant or passes through the road
His eyes unintentionally search for her
He thought
"Enough is enough!
It's okay Anubhav tho it's not exactly okay but it will be fine
Why are you thinking so much about a stranger!
Just think about it as a nightmare and forget it and move on "

Anubhav again was bought back to the world by his golu chachu and yug bhaiya calling him downstairs
"Annu neeche aaja ye wedding cards ke designs check kar ! " Shouted Golu chachu
"Aaya chachu " Annu replied back
Sighing he got up from his bed and went down
again shutting the thoughts of that One Girl and That One kiss.
