They are taking it slow in love, which is great coz that is the most realistic way to showcase this transition from acceptance to love.

Parents meeting episode mei there was a moment when she was standing outside of the house where they were having a conversation , when she said she is not used to saree and she shows some uncomfortable saree action to him.. and he saw that frustration in her which made him realised that she needs to do what she wants .

He knows it is not his usual instinct to dress up hence asked, but also managed to make her smile and respected all the efforts put in for his fam's sake even if she did not agree with the clothes 😆

So dr pramod was decorating the cake too ! Hmm

Would be great if he knows how to cook too! They can share the responsibilities!

Vikram is more of the confrontational kind tho, and he likes taking risks head on, I think she was alluding to which ML tries to be safe in situations. Jagat cares about him more than his own image and that is great, coz not telling everyone of his relation with Jagat is what has allowed Vikram to carve his own identity in Haathi Bazaar.

Also what I love she is truly made for his family kahi se ni laga she is meeting the family first time . The way she shared her chacha passion for cooking ..And when his mom compliment and said she likes her ..Pramod reaction was cute .

He was happy she was accepted in his family while she was happy that they were what she always wanted and enjoyed the moment, also considering the possibility of being there forever - except she would have to be in a relationship with Pramod for that! 😳😛

Awesome of you to notice! There are different versions like Ayu pointed out, but yes, at the core, they try to use similar themes of music for each character and keep it consistent somewhat.

So, after a quick rewatch this Sunday, this is what I found: Vikram mentioned his dad is in Delhi with family and does not care about him and/or does not think his children fit into society, so he does not have anything to prove to him. His mother has put in a lot of efforts in how he has grown up, hence he is proud to be known by her name.

With the length he is going in order to be hiding his dad, makes me suspect that maybe this is not just a simple familial conflict sorta thing (like Garima's where it is more of a patriarchy mindset issue but her parents do seem to love and respect each other atleast in the normal sense otherwise) and his parents are separated/distances/divorced and he lives with his mom, so he feels the need to not acknowledge that surname since it hurts him with the abandonment. Maybe Jagat and his minions work for the dad which Vicky does not approve of so much hence keeps thodu emotional distance that way too.

Vikram needs validation and love from external forces if not within family, hence he has made his body and physical appearance that way so he seems desirable atleast to them. The Haathi Bazaar people are the only one who got to witness his good heart too, since he has become a 🌶️ mouth with all the experiences he has previously had and guards his actual thoughts by being confrontational, just like Garima hides her thoughts by being diplomatic/zipping her mouth in the presence of the others.

Yupp..most probs his family history is more complicated than the Kaatelals, hence he has gotten so attached to Gunnu so much! Jagat tried to bring up the father about 3-4 times in this entire time with him, but he has steered away from the topic with a lil aggressive verbal meltdown, signifying his dad has done much more than disrespected him or his mother, there is so much to be seen. Excited!
