Kaali - Ek Punar Avatar to end on 8 March 2013; to be replaced by Master Chef India 3?
Star Plus' Kaali – Ek Punar Avatar, produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms was always a different show that was 'devoid' of the lovey-dovey scenes that a family drama or a romantic serial usually boasts of. Since Kaali was based on a real-life sequence, it began with quite a lot of drama and intrigue that lead to the death of the main character. The show later went on to depict the struggle of a woman in getting justice for her dead son.
Kaali never got to fare well on the ratings chart. And now we hear that the show in all probability will make way for new programming on 8 March 2013. Our inside source tells us that Master Chef India 3 (already reported about the show being a daily this season) will apparently be taking the time slot of 8 pm from Monday to Friday, starting 11 March. We tried calling Arjun Bijlani for a confirmation, but he remained unavailable.
Our efforts to get in touch with producers Shyamasis Bhattacharya and Neelima Bajpayee were in vain.
Earlier today, it was written about the entry of Dhruvee Haldankar as the lawyer to fight the case for Vaani (Mangal Kenkre) in Kaali. We now wonder if this court case will be the final fight of Vaani to seek justice for her son.
Let's see how the makers proceed with the climax of Kaali.
