back with performance analysis, though not much to say really, coz i am more or less okay with top4 and bottom 4 except one from each.
start abhas, he did contorted popping. my streetdancing knowledge is very limited, but i thought he threw a little liquid in. whatever, street dancing is his style, and after attempting krumping last week, he stuck to tried and tested formula,but some of the moves were really wonderful.
next up,karan khanna as sheila. Well it was really difficult to believe this guy gave a tandav, but i found his acting a little overboard. and dancing was not that much. the x factor of him
dressing up as girl i think was the trick today, i was little relieved when he did not get into top 4, and his performance although was not outstanding, was good enough to keep him secure,but defo not top 4
next up, meher malik. Now they have thrown away all pretention and meher did a belly dance kalbeliya mix, and puppetry. Apparently, its a popular demand, people just want to see her do belly dance , or so, acc to facebook.
But today i liked meher, the dangerous stunt with the sword was really nice, other than that same ol, same ol. actually today i dont know why meher landed in danger zone, maybe overall her energy was too low, and the performance
was a bit subdued. but i liked her bits with sword. if spoilers r true, she will be there next week, and again one more cup of bellydance.
up next shaumita, she tried aerial silk and contemporary, though the silk portion was very less and i think the silk is relatively smaller cloth , and she didn't go much higher unlike some other shows like dpl, or did. Hello JD people,
even celebs in ZND and JDJ go higher in aerial. and as usual, she gave plenty of excuse while saying not giving excuse. 🤣couldn't they just show the VT post her performance? Why is sympathy factor so high for saumita? Coming back
to her performance, it was bad, just bad,according to me. props to her for trying something different, cartwheel was nice, else what a little usage of space, and bad performance. How the heck she land in top4? today karan pangali actually deserved
it, his contemporary was so much better and nice expressions.
up next surjeet, he did hip hop, looked like breaking and locking to me. he was good, but nothing extraordinary, good enough to save him.
then kruti. another bad performance. her flamengo was a litle good, but her samba was distastrous, costume didn't gel with her samba dance. and overall, it was bad for me. it was expected and imo quite justified she landed there.
up next vaibhavi, she did a small bit to demonstrate, while i would not say she was outstanding,
it was nice impromptu and she is quite flexible inspite of that weight. her split is one of the best in JD so far, smooth and the transition after was worth watching the whole show.
next was rajit. good to see him trying something different, although I learnt about a new dance style, mythological. it was semi classical, mixed with kalari acc to me. he needs to work hard on his mudras and some postures.
why didn'tt he judges tell him that? but his stunts were beautiful and his transitions were flawless, i felt he needed a little more aggression and energy, but it was good. with the choices they had, he was okay choice as top4.
next up ankan, he did some locking popping , freestyle. something of the sort of abhas, and was good. he didnt move out of his comfoprt zone today but his expressions r mashallah! abhas has to work hard
in that department.I think there is something wrong between him and abhas, and its not just friendly competetion. I hope the channel doesnt
cash on it like the way they did today.😡 they r both 17 yr old boys, and r going through boyish rivalry phase, and it would be over too, just hope they dont stoke the fire for trp like today.😡
swarali did nautanki next. Another bad performance. swarali is only good in contemporary it seems, move out of it and disaster. today it was plain bad and justified she landed in bottom 4.
yay! pangali did a contemporary. he was good, expressions, lines , transitions. beautiful!. I am shocked at how they put him in bottom and shaumita in top4. This is the only one
i absolutely donot agree. shaumita was bad today, injury or not, no usage of space, no nice expressions, restricted. and karan was flowing. oh well, we know there is foul play, what can we expect.
