I have already posted my views but i couldnt resist adding these few points which i was thinking over the night. I guess,

having so many talented dancers at hand is not easy for the judges either. and they got a little confused as to whom to keep and whom to

throw out, resulting int he unfortunate ousting of many deserving contestants. I noticed a few anomaly and I hope in the comiing episodes, there will remain a

basic standard for judging.

first of all, the contestants were said to be divided according to their strength, then how come some contestants like aparna have to perform outside their comfort

zone? and then they get a lecture on how they have to assimilate all the dance styles? shouldnt rules be same for everyone out there?

if the contestants are performing within their comfort zone, but starts making mistakes, the moment they take a minute step towards other dance styles, why some of them are spared while

others are not? case in point again: mehr and aparna.

that is why, they should have given common choreography to all, and in different dance styles. its like exams in school, where until u reach a certain standard,

u have to appear for all the papers, no matter how u hate one, or love other or not good at some other. without a common judging platform, how can they choose?

when the contestants are performing within their comfort zone, why is it, some dancers who chose to potray finer tecniques are not considered that good? if u have

trained and perfected a tecnique over the years, should u also not show it, granted u need emotions too, but while reading good books, do we only look

at the content and the author's heart there? if such a book, rife with grammatical errors come out, would we go and buy it? for example mayuri, she had

flawless tecnique and also adequate emotions, what she lacked was maybe energy.

almost all the contestants who are older than 25 have been ousted, case in point, bhavini(te amo group, i thought she was the best in the group)

suchana, namita, subhas, dinanath, why bother choosing them all if u have an invisible age bar?better make it visible so that such people donot enter.

About trishala, lets hope, she improves and proves all of us wrong, but why do i have this feeling that she might be related to some one on the show and hence was

retained? she is quite average IMHO.

As rainy.days said about pimping, well its quite common in all reality shows, they bank on one star, show their lifes tory, sob story, its all business.

besides as amazing VM is as a judge, i ahve observed she has a little bit favouritism and holds grudges. if u hav followed zara nachke dikha2, you would know what

i am talking about. Farha comes off as quite in your face, no nonsense person, but they r all humans, they all are prone to some favouritism at

some point or other. we all would.

Still, i have immense hope on the judges and the experct choreographers. I hope those who have not been selected goes miles ahead with their life and those who

r in the show, achive all the success they hoped for

btw the episode was rife with edit errors, small example: karan's age was shown 19, when he himself said during Uk audition that he is 23. I am not sure,if i saw

it during epi, but in the promo video, sohail was shown doing bharatnatyam, in which world is that bharatnatyam? i was thinking more of balletnatyam.

geez i agree 🤔... and thats why i hope the contestants keep their mouth shut when VM is criticizing them ( I still remember in znkd how she kept scoring a contestant less for consecutive weeks bcuz her judgement was questioned by that person).. even if they might not agree with some aspect of her judging ...
To put it bluntly , if you p*ss her off , she takes weeks to forget that ...
But IMO , out of the three , VM is better than the other two in judging technicalities...

Well , the judges will goof up occasionally , bcuz the standard is so high , and everyone is so good ... judging gets difficult ..

If some good contestants miss out .. tough luck !

I hope we see them again next year . and jonathan , sanjay , soochna , ajay etc.. get selected ...

tell me about it, and how she kept scoring one of the guys, coz she had known him from nach baliye and was impressed by his growth !!!1😆
i think farah is also good in technical stuff, right from jdj1, she kept on pointing stuff out.
hritik also seem to know his stuff, but he is more like a friend for them.
i am looking forward to some great dancing, less sob story, hopefully may the best person win.

Bingo at the above comment! I was saddened about Suchana, Namita, Subhas and Dinanath as well.. they were all very good, but it definitely seemed they were sidelined due to their age..

As for Trishala.. she is the biggest disappointment for me! How do you make a 21st spot and give it to a dancer that is below average... one that dances like any person who loves dancing can? I was flabbergasted when they said she is going to be an exception to the top 20 rule and be the 21st contestant... definitely agree with you Tannistha.. has to be some connection..! 😕

I'm more or less okay with the judgement . I missed Karan's performance on sun but he was great to watch in the auditions . But I agree with the person tht said he comes off as a little overconfident !

Meher is awesome , IMO ! I found her better than Namita ( did not like her tap dancing at all ) . She's a professional belly dancer so Thts her forte . But she's trained in a couple of other dance forms as well so she should be good , I'm hoping . The reason why a lot of hype surrounds her is probably coz she's relatively well known as compared to other contestants , maybe that's why the 'over promotion ' ...!

I did not like Jason and the other 2 dancers from his group .

Somita and Sonali were good .

I believe Rajit was eliminated and Surjit is not even in the top 2, so how can he make it in the top 13. Can someone confirm this.

Here are my description of the top 13.

Abhash Mukherjee- Weird Wave arms, straight lines comment.

Karan Khanna- purple contemporary dancer.

Karan Pangali- LONDON DANCER

Surjeet- THIS was the guy eliminated with SANJAY, High spirited guy. That was not allowed to meet Hrithik in 2001.

Ankan- skinny, dark, red shirt kid.

Irfaan- Failed for three yrs, naughty boy.

Rajit- Tall green pants guy( Was so called eliminated) or the blue shirt/ black vest guy that was picked alongside nimit? ( on STARPLUS website they have the green pant guy on as top 21).

Hitesh- blue shirt, white vest guy did some locking and hip-hop moves

Meher- Belly Dancer

Soumita- Kolkata Eyes

Kruti- was chosen along side priti.

Priti – SCREAMED since she thought she won.

i agree...i didnt like all of the judgement...n i thought that sanjay, jonathan, ashish...deserved more to be in the show than trishala...bt like u im extremely happy that Karan (classical london dancer) got selected...

BTw...did any1 notice that they selected only 1 person from US n 1 from London...all others were from india...maybe that is their limit...n if it is then its not fair...bc some of the dancers were really good...however i cld have made mistake since they started showing just ppl who got the kit...

The only contestant i thought who should not have been left out was Namita Kapoor. I felt like she could have shown us so much more but unfortunately they only thought she could tap dance when she's clearly stated in her auditions that she was a trained ballet, salsa and jazz performer. She's even in performed in "Love guru". I cant see why they chose someone like trishala over her. I definitely think the judges were more emotional about their judgement than technical. Well, its the shows loss!

yes i saw that too, thats why i said, why bother going to US and London and selecting dancers traihed in ballet and international styles, if u r only gonna keep the dancers from india .
i think someone here made a post once about how it is made to seem like bollywood and i had protested, hoping with such a rich variety of contestants, we can see many styles, but it seems the show makers r sticking to tried and tested formula.

along with namita, i also liked mayuri, infact i liked her better today than her auditions, also some performers were given quite bad choreography that did not do them any justice.
but whatever, lets hope the ones who stayed back truly improve and provide enjoyment.
