I had been expecting them to show the auditions, since most reality shows tend to do that these days. But I wasn't expecting them to take almost a whole weekend to show just one city. They have like another 10 cities to show - at this rate it'll take them over 2 months!
And I wished there'd been more dance to the show. There was an awful lot of "And here's another one of Hrithik's special messages." Don't get me wrong, I do like watching Hrithik. But I'm watching Just Dance for the dance, to quite an extent.
Oh, the fakeness of the start reeeaally irritated me. The flashing lights completely detracted from what they were saying and from the small stints of dance that I would have otherwise enjoyed. And there seemed to be just far too much overacting in that part of the episode. I was just sitting there saying "Okay, when are people going to start dancing?"
Oh gosh, I've just read through this, and I sound like such a negative person! 😕
Right, so to the good things. Some of the acts were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I can't even just pick one that stood out, because there are simply too many fabulous dancers on the show. My expectations for the following acts have grown manifold after these episodes.
Ayushmann's hosting is great, as usual. He's a humourous and fun-loving person, and that sets the mood for the show, since he's currently liasoning between the contestants and judges. It's always a treat to watch him host.
Farah and Vaibhavi's judging has also been very good; I've agreed with most of their decisions (though, admittedly, not all). And it's apparent that they get on very very well - it's good to be able to see their rapport like this.
Overall, I'd say that though I do have my complaints with a couple of things, I certainly enjoyed watching these first few episodes. And I have a feeling that Just Dance is only going to get better!

The worst dance show I have seen..so badly produced that it's shocking !!..even Zee TV 's DID looks better compared to this and that just shows how poor the quality is !

Hrithik Roshan is a great dancer .Even there are better dancer ,But he is a superstar and most probably he looks great when he dances...I can not remember any of the superstars male in Bollywood who is such a great dancer ...(Sahid is a great dancer , but he does not look as good as hrithik ,,thanks to his height )

Ok so I love Hrithik. I fell in love with the guy after watching Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and for me Hrithik and Shahid are two amazingly talented dancers and without a doubt the best 2 dancers in Bollywood. Yet even I wouldn't go to the extent of calling them the 'God of Dance'.

The thing that annoyed me the most though was the annoying fan girls. They made me want to pull my hair out. Why can't the concept be something similar to DID where there isn't a studio audience going gaga over the judges or contestants or whoever. It was so annoying and they just wouldn't shut up. I guess I can overlook all those things as long as this show delivers and provides the viewers with some entertaining performances.
