~*~*~WRITTEN UPDATE FOR JUNE 22ND, 2009~*~*~

RECAP:

Vicky telling his dad that he has learned a lot from him. Vicky riding his bike to the airport. The officers accusing Vicky of being a terrorist. Vicky telling him that he needs to stop his wife. Vicky telling Jugni's dad that in love there are no compromises just trust, and one day w/ that trust, everyone will accept Jugni for who she is, and then Jugni's dad saying that with that same trust I'm sending Jugni with you. Jugni and Vicky riding off.

BHALLA HOUSE

Bauji saying it has been so long and Vicky is not back yet, in the time he is taking I could have circled the whole town and back. You see Jatinder walking by in the back and he stops to listen, then bauji starts to walk off and he follows then he runs around the front and yells "bauji! Who are you talking to." Bauji says I was talking to myself. Jatinder just stares at his dad, and bauji asks if he did something wrong by talking to himself. Jatinder with a serious look on his face says that there is no need to talk to yourself, whether anyone talks to you or not, I will talk to you for sure! Now what were you talking about? (haha-he is just to hilarious) Bauji sarcastically asks what did God have a fool like you be born in my house. Jatinder looks up toward the sky, and then says to his dad why are you complaining to God about me? Then Bauji hears the motorcycle and he asks Jatinder if he hears something, Jatinder says yes bauji, yours! Bauji says outside you fool. Jatinder climbs up the railing and listens and then says yes, I do, it is of a motorcycle and it is at our door, now it stopped and someone is coming to our door. Vicky walks in and Jatinder gets off the railing and says it our own Vicky, Bauji says I know. Then Jugni walks in behind Vicky, and Jatinder says Vicky ke saath sabse choti vi hai! (jugni is behind him). Bauji asks to himself, Vicky brought Jugni back? Then you see a taxi pull up too, and Jatinder lets Bauji know and then Bauji wonders whether they all really went away or not. Balwinder and Manjit walk in and Manjit they both excitedly greet the two. SImran Surjeet come into the living room as well, and they yell and scream in joy that Jugni is back, they go to her and hug her. Surjeet says you went and came back so fast and then Simran says let me hug her too, then she looks around and asks if mama mami ji came or not. Then Jatinder and Bauji finally come, and Jugni takes blessings. Then Buaji aks if everything is ok. They are about to say yes, when the Taxi driver comes with their stuff and says here is your stuff, Vicky pays him and he says it will be more than that b/c you guys left so fast from the hawai ada (hope I got this correct :/) I had to fly behind you to keep up. Jugni looks at Bauji thinking oh crap. Then Buaji says you were going to your parents house, how did you guys end up there? Then Jugni says, first sit and then I will tell you.

They all go sit down and Buaji ask her to tell them. Jugni says my dad loves to joke around, he jokes about everything. And sometimes he starts to turn his jokes in to reality (Vicky sits back and relaxes knowing that his wife got all this settled). Now see, he started to tell me that he was taking me outta country, that far away country, what is it called, umm London (all the family members get a shocked look on their faces). Then he said we'll go to London first and then come back to Ajeeta. I thought he was joking, but he was for reals. Bauji says I don't get one thing, to go out of the country you need a passport and visa. Balwinder says yah you do need papers. Surjeet and Simran look confused as well. Jugni says I said the same thing. Then Balwinder says "you, you said that, how'd you know." Jugni says I didn't know. Then Vicky comes in to save her and says I told her all this on the way and Jugni agrees. Then Balwinder says so then what did you say to your mama ji? Jugni says I told him that he probably got two tickets booked, I am not going to go standing up, now am i. Balwinder nods in satisfaction of her answer. Bauji says puttar they don't stand and go to other countries, balwinder says how would she know, she is uneducated. Bauji says its good that you got her, but what I am confused about is how did you know she was there. Vicky laughs and says that well, and then Jugni says she called and told him what the situation was and Vicky says yes. Surjeet says oh ok. Then Buaji says that Jugni may be uneducated but she is very understanding. Then the girls smile, and Jugni smiles mischievously at Vicky and he smiles back. Bauji says your mama ji did wrong, he left here telling us that you guys are going to Ajeeta, but then took you to Hawai ada (do they mean airport by hawai ada?) anyways then Manjit says nxt time we will only let her go when her parents themselves come to get her. Bauji says enough talk, didn't you ugys see that w/I four hours of her going, this house was empty, everyone was sad, no one wanted to eat. Manjit says your right bauji, before nothing was clearly seen, everyone was sad. Simran, but now we all are happy. Buaji says from now on, none of guys leave me, I feel alone. Jatinder (with his goofy self) says I already told you before when you feel lonely I'll come talk to you, then he asks kya haal chaal, sab teek tak.(what is up? Everthing ok?) Bauji calls him a donkeys kid and says you stay quiet. Manjit tells jugni that they have so many things to talk to her about, and Surjeet says yes yes, come . They women all go upstairs and Buaji tells the boys to go relax too. Buaji then thanks God for such a great family, they all love each other so much, keep their love strong, I don't need anything other than that.

GIRLS ROOM

Jugni says really sisterinlaw, Surjeet says yes. Then she says when we went in to your room, you know what we saw, we saw Vicky looking sad and then she tells Manjit to say what she said to Vicky. Manjit says I said come Vicky the food is ready (she makes the same facial expressions she made when she was telling him that episode). Then Surjeet says Vicky said no sister in law, im not hungry I'll eat later. Simran says that by looking at him, it seemed that he was not going to eat at all until he saw you. Jugni is all smiles hearing this, and asks really he was that sad. Manjit says of course, he became, what is his name, oh man, hmm (Surjeet interrupts and says Vicky) no, Vicky became, that guy who keeps following his wife, (surjeet interrupts and says Jatinder, Simran smilies cutely and blushes a little, jugni laughs) no not jatinder, the guy who keeps following that girl, you were the one who told me that they threw rocks at him (Surjeet now says Pagal) Pagal, not that (simran says Majnu) Yeees Majnu. They all get happy that finally she figured out who she were talking about. Manjit says he became just like Majnu, he became so bad that he couldn't eat or hear and he was lost in your thoughts, I think he hid from us and cried too. Jugni thinks that this is Vickys problem, he doesn't know how to say it, but he can't hide it either.

VICKY ROOM

Vicky is trying to call someone and he says that this guy never answers his phone. Then Jugni comes in and coughs to get his attention. Vicky looks at her, Jugni stares at him and cutely winks at him. He asks her what she is looking at. She says you. He says I have not changed in four hours. She says no, not from the outside, but from…Vicky sys oh you must of seen my shoes. Then goes not Mr. Vikram Singh Bhalla, I am talking about tha Majnu (Vicky thinks)that became crazy in my love and came running after me. He says that there is a such thing as misunderstanding in the world. Jugni says no way, this is not a misunderstanding, I know that you became like majnu after I left, that's why before my plane even left, your thoughts did. Vicky asks who told her all this, tell me who told you. She says everyone told me all the sister in laws, then she goes to act out Vicky saying "no sister in law I am not hungry, I'll eat later" he says it is not so, I just don't like the sabji that was made, then she ask, ok if that is the case then why did you come to the airport to get me. Vicky says that everyone in the house was missing you, bauji. She says brother in law he says yes, she says sister in law he says yes, she says Vicky, he says yes, she says yes and then she claps her hands b/c she got what she wanted. Then he says no, what I meant was, never mind, jugni says yes?, he says the thing is that, well, who will wash my clothes, who will give me food, instead of bothering everyone will all this I figured I'll just get you back. So I brought you back. Jugni says Vicky why can't you just say it loud and clear that you love me, my majnu. Vicky quietly says majnu, then he turns to jugni and says well madam, don't call me majnu, before you do that please think of yourself and how you were at the airport, you had water in your eyes and you walking slowly like this (he imitates her walking slowly), remember, or would you like me to remind you some more? She says that she hurt her foot in the taxi so that is why it was hurting and I was walking that way also, my husband couldn't bare it so he came to get me. He says listen madam, I am still the way I was before and I will not accept you as my wife until bauji accepts you as jasmeet. And then jugni says well if that is the case, I am punjaban too, I will get my right as a wife. He says oh really, we'll see, you are you and I am me, do as you wish, we'll see. Then bauji walks in, jugni is about to say something when she sees him. And she whispers bauji, Vicky goes to say now what, you don't have an answer, bauji says but I have an answer. He goes to say don't try to scare me by imitating bauji's voice. Jugni looks confused and buaji taps him on the shoulder he turns around and says look jugni and then she signals him w/ her eyes to look behind him and he says bauji, you? Bauji says you fool why are you fighting with her. When she was gone you were sitting here all sad like majnu, and now that she is back why are you yelling. Jugni says really bauji he was like majnu. He says yes puttar, then I took out my motorcycle key that till date I have never shown or given anyone before, I gave to him, thinking he'll feel better, I didn't know he would bring you back. Jugni then smiles and blushes away. Bauji says I gave you the motorcycle now go take her on a ride. Jugni says this is the reason we were fighting, where would we go first. The fields or other places. Vicky says no its not that, then Bauji says what jugni is lying, I saw you guys fighting, now take her along. He says yes father and jugni smiles.

ON THE ROAD

Vicky and Jugni are riding around on the motorcycle. She tells him to make a right, and he says no left, do you want to drive around or are you just driving me around. She says you are saying this as if I am kidnapping you and taking you away. Then there is a school and she gets off the motorcycle and stands looking at it with amazement. Vicky asks where has she gotten off, this is not a place to do sightseeing at. She says really?, then tell me what this is. He says this, I'll tell you, one sec, (he gets off his bike) this was, not is, it was a school, Buaji got it knocked down and made it into a courthouse(I think that is what he turned it into)what is the need for a school in the village. Jugni looks at him sternly. Vicky says this is not what I say, this is what bauji says. Jugni says she knows, that is why I brought you here and had you stop here, Vicky look this village is in ur dads name, your dads son, I am your wife, so this village is just as much as it is yours. Vicky says yes but why are you saying all this. Jugni says look we both received our education in London in the best schools and here, there is not even one school, and if someone wants to read and write, there is not a resource here that will allow them to. Vicky says very good speech miss London. Jugni says no, say Mrs. Jugni Bhalla. Vicky asks what do you want to do, cause a new problem. She says no, a solution, my education is the biggest mistake here right, well I'm to prove that being uneducated is the biggest mistake here, today Mrs. Jugni Bhalla makes this promise to you and herself that one day there will be a school here and Bauji will be the one to open it. Vicky says all this big talk and promises and such sound so nice, but this is real life and real talk, this is Jagtaria, it is difficult for it to happen here. Jugni says but what if it happens. Vicky says, well if that is the case, then I will be the first student of this school and teacher you. Jugni says think about, b/c for the rest of your life you will have to learn what I teach. Vicky says oh madam, I'm from Jagtaria, I am the son from Punjabs dirt, I don't back down, oh am I'm Punjabi by heart tOo (he winks) then jugni makes him promise. He laughs and sticks out his hand and says gentlemans promise and they shake hands. Jugni silently prays to god that w/ all the love this village has given her, getting this school started is her right, she should do something to repay them, please help me with this. Then Vicky silently prays that this is the first bet in his life that he wants to lose, if Jugni can do this, thenfor Punjab, Jagtaria, and all of us it will be the best, and I know there is no better teacher there for me other than Jugni, please be with her. They both smile to themselves and look at the school-to-be. screen splits in three: Vicky, school, jugni

PRECAP

Balwinder askins jatinder what happened next, jatinder says I don't know what happened next, I don't even know what happened before or in the middle. Balwinder says what are you doing in between then, leave, he tells Manjit to go sit in the middle, she does and then she says "then Bauji says (she makes his voice) don't tell anyone." Balwinder says he told you not to tell anyone, then why are you telling us, we don't want to hear. Then simran closes her ears. Manjit says he didn't tell me not to tell anyone, he told Jugni not to tell anyone, then you see surjeet pulling simrans fingers outta her ears so she can listen to what is being said. Balwinder says ok in that case, continue telling us. Then she says, Bauji said that this is the perfect opportunity to do something. ( I didn't quite get what that something was. Did anyone catch that if you watched the show?)

SUMMARY

Bauji wondering where vicky is, Vicky and Jugni come back, Jugni makes up a story as to why they were at the airport. Then the girls go upstairs and they tell Jugni how much Vicky missed her and he was like Majnu. Then Jugni goes to Vicky and makes fun of him saying he loves her and missed her and he was like Majnu. Vicky denies everything and says talk about yourself. She denies as well. He says he won't accept her until his father does. She says that she will take her right as a wife. They argue about that, Bauji comes in and then says when Jugni left you were like majnu and now you are fighting with her? He tells them to go on a bike ride. Jugni says that is the reason we were fighting, we didn't knwo where to go first. They leave to go on their bike ride. And then they stop infront of a school. and the whole point of that scene was to lay out the blueprints for their bet. Jugni says that she will build a school and bauji will be the one to open it. Vicky says will not happen and if it does he will be the first student and she can be the teacher. then they both pray to God silently, both asking God to help Jugni win this bet and to be with her.
