This is the gateway to Akbar's Maqbara known as Jahangir Darwaza and the small gate like structure in front is known as Salaami Darwaza. Its architectural design is such that you have to bend while passing even though it's height is somewhere around 6 ft. Jahangir wanted everyone to keep on paying respect to his father even years after his death!

Jodha Begum's tomb! It is said that though Jodha Begum never embraced Islam, her last wish was to be buried which was her last gift to her husband. Her tomb is only half a kilometre away from that of Akbar's. Even after her death, she remained closest to her husband!

But then, I realised that whatever happens happens for a reason. Besides, however the 'hitting like' 'mobile browsing' 'internet speed' theory works, it's a given that romance based chapters lure in the most readership and the rest of it not so much.

By chance I was browsing through Chapter 25 yesterday when referencing the Shehzaade-AMK part (because of the discussions here)... and I realised that even Chapter 25 has only had 80-odd likes. (which I would've thought was quite a game-changing chapter.)

It just goes to show that most readers respond when there's romance. 😊

I am grateful for the close circle of support I have here... and I will write with just the same dedication/passion for the 15-20 girls who have been here supporting me from beginning to end... as an author, I personally feel I owe this much to the selfless baisas who've sacrificed so much for my sake... baisas who remember lines from chapters written 2 years ago, baisas who leave their work to read & write reviews... and baisas who celebrate more than I do, when we hit success...

Anytime I feel I need a boost, I'd come to you girls and hope to be propped up. So bear with me till the end.
