among Ruqayya, salima and mariam ...only ruqayya was younger than him... salima was older than him...almost 4-6 years ...as ..he was 18 n salima was 24 at the time of their marriage...akbar n mariam zamani was of same age...

History is a Mystery...Actually, DOB of Jodha is a bit shady, as the Govt Royal chronology does not officially mention her DOB(I double checked that)...And in those days, it seldom happened that Princesses /Girls were left unmarried till the age of 20!! 😕, especially in Princely states where Child-Brides are very common even today...!!!!
Also Akbar's real DOB is between August to October...there 's confusion on the tallying of Hijri dates and European calendar...and it's fact that when an heir was born to any Sultanate , the news was announced much later keeping in mind the safety and survival chances of the baby...!!!😊
Same applied for death of Emperors!!

Relax, in the serial, they have tried to show 4 yrs difference between the two...so don't worry ...😃

If you visit agra-taj mahal has a museum inside where pictures of real akbar, hira bai, jehangir, jodha and khurram and mumtaz are kept. They also have swords etc used by them. They all look more handsome and pretty than pictures on web especially jodha and mumtaz and khurram
