Serials on remarriages are on the rise as they are being very well accepted by the viewers. After all, in reality too many Indians are opting for second marriages.
When a couple is tying the knot for the second time after a marriage which has ended in an acrimonious divorce or after having undergone tragic widowhood; one cannot erase the memories of the first marriage. We all know that human memory unlike computer memory can't be eradicated with the press of the delete button.
Couples in a remarriage have to ensure that their happiness and romance isn't blighted by the past relationship emerging to haunt them all over again. This may even lead to sabotaging their second marriage.
Angana (Aleeza Khan) and Saumya's (Aamir Ali) sweet and peaceful marriage will be at threat with the emergence of his former wife Angana (Sonia Singh), who has re-christened herself as the Westernised Angie.
Though both of Saumya's wives go by the same name, they are as different as chalk and cheese. His former wife Angana (Angie) aspired to be an actress and resorted to the bottle when she was unable to realise her dreams. An alcoholic, suicidal and deep into depression, she needs love and care to recover.
In the upcoming episodes, Angie will meet with an accident. In typical soap style, Saumya's current wife Angana will meet her and come to her rescue. Despite getting to know that she is her husband's ex-wife, being a kind hearted girl she will get her over to her matrimonial household. The creatives are currently working on thinking of a logical reason as to why Angana will allow Angie to reside under the same roof with Saumya.
The track which is certain though is that a love triangle will emerge between Saumya, Angana and Angie which will shake the very foundation of their marriage.
