Television actor Rakesh Paul, who has entered "Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga" after a break, says he never left the show and that his negative character has undergone a positive makeover.

"I never left the show. I can never leave a Rajshri Productions' show. But my role, it has changed. There is not much for a positive characters to do in TV, but if the character has meat, then I am for it," he told IANS.

"It is a very positive change. I have been the Raavan of the show. Now in the show, it is time to wash my sins. Now I am standing up for my family. Now I am standing by truth and fighting for it," he added.

Talking about his wish list, he said he would love to "play a beggar, old man, a kid ... we are actors".

"TV is women dominated and there is not much to do for men. I am lucky to be able to get good roles," said the actor who was also part of Rajshri's " Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki".

Paul is looking to take up a new show.
