A crazy rickshaw driver took the actress to his home against her will

She plots kidnapping escapades and threatens people with dire consequences as the wicked Mohini on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhu Bahu Thi. But off screen, Tassnim Sheikh got a taste of her character's own medicine when a crazy rickshawalla literally took the actress for a ride, scaring the daylights out of her.
High voltage drama
Says Tassnim, "I haven't been using my car for the last few days as I don't have a driver. So I've been travelling by rickshaws and taxis for the last 10 days."
Returning home from her shoot next to Jaipan Studios in Goregaon, Tassnim got into a rickshaw. "I didn't call him, so it was funny that he came and parked his rickshaw right in front of me. I told the driver I wanted to go to Andheri and sat inside."
Things took a turn for the worst when she realised the driver was deviating from the main road and taking his own route. "I kept telling him to use the highway, but he insisted on using the inside roads. After we covered some distance, I realised that he was going towards an area unknown to me. I started panicking because I didn't know where was taking me."
Tassnim started yelling and asking the rickshaw driver to stop his vehicle. "I told him that I would call the police if he didn't listen to me. But he would not respond and kept driving at high speed."
As she looked out, Tassnim realised she had entered a slum. "There were these shanty houses all around me, and that's when he stopped the rickshaw and ran inside one of the houses."
Mohini ki mahima
He soon came out with two women and some kids. It turned out that the rickshaw driver was Tassnim's fan and wanted to introduce her to his family. "He got his mother, wife and kids to meet me. Some 20-25 people were staring and trying to touch me. I couldn't be rude to them as I figured they were fans and wanted to talk to me."
Even though she was uncomfortable with the idea of being brought to the place against her wish, Tassnim exchanged some words with the people. "They told me how much they loved Mohini. His wife also asked me about my marriage, so I was surprised they knew so much about me."
Returning back home, Tassnim decided to halt the rickshaw mid way and take another cab to reach her destination. "Thankfully nothing went wrong, but I didn't want to take that rickshaw home. It totally spooked me out."
The entire episode has taught Tassnim a lesson — start taking driving lessons. "I have now decided to join a training school and learn driving. I don't want to be dependant on anyone."
