Addy tries to convince Aman that marriage is the only way out for him in order to keep Anjali out of the dhanrajgir home.😡 Aman is doubful for the marriage to Menka as he says that Ayesha is unhappy and he doesn't want his kids to be unhappy. Addy says that he should leave it to her and she will take care of Ayesha.😕
Addy and Romona are in Ayesha's room. Ayesha is in an absolute rage and screams "this is not done" when she see's the house being decorated for the wedding. Addy and Romona try to pacify Ayesha but to no avail. Addy manipulates Ayesha by saying that Aman is so lonely and has been ever since the loss of their mother. she goes on further to say that one day she (Addy) will not be there, Romona and the rest of the family will not be around and that Ayesha and Rahul will be wrapped in their own lives - then who is going to take care of Aman? Addy says that is the only reason she wants the marriage to take place (btw - Aman managed just fine for 20yrs - now all of a sudden he is lonely and needs some one to look after him?? come on Addy..)
Ayesha eventually calms down saying that she can understand her father needsa wife because he is lonely but Menka could never replace her mother. Addy and Romona are relieved. However Ayesha locks herself in her room and refuses to open the door when Aman comes to speak to her. Addy chips in and tells Aman to get ready and she will take care of Ayesha. Aman is not happy - ayesha unlocks her door and blasts off Aman that he can have a wife but no wife of his will replace her mother. 🤢🤢
Diama overhears Addy speaking to someone on the cellphone - Addy says that very soon the entire property and wealth of the Dhanrajgir family will be hers. Anjali gets all dressed up and says that she is only using her sindhoor and mungalsutra in order for her to protect her children's rights. she leaves in a taxi to stop the wedding.😆😆
At the house, everyone except Ayesha, diama and Rahul have assembled in the lounge. romona brings Menka and seats her opposite Aman. Addy says that Menka should says a few words. Menka says that she is happy that they have been friends and now they are going to be life partners. Aman is not too happy but addy says that he should say something, aman says that Menka has been a good friend (noe this is when i got lost a bit) but addy cuts him off , everyone claps and Addy says that they should sign the marriage documents. Menka signs and passes the pen and documents to Aman. Aman can't help but remember when he proposed to Anjali, their wedding, aniversay and other happy moments. Addy asks Aman what he is thinking about and rushes him to sign the papers. As Aman is about to sign, the door opens and Anjali enters. Aman and the rest of the family is shocked - addy steps in -introduces Menka to Anjali as Mrs Aman Dhanrajgir - Anjali says that addy is wrong and that Anjali is Mrs Aman Dhanrajgir. Menka looks furious an leaves after anjali says that according to the law - if the first wife is alive and has not been divorced a second marriage cannot take place. Menka leaves in a huff.
Just then Ayesha comes in & recognises Anjali- Anjali introduces herself as a aman's wifes very good friend. Ayesha is ecstatic that no marriage has taken place and goes off to chat with Anjali.The rest of the family are reeling from the shock. (I cannot explain Aman's disposition - is he shocked that his wife has arrived, dumbfounded by new her outspoken self or in more turmoil now that she is going to interact with her children.... i can't figure this one out)
At the dining table Anjali goes around the table taking about each of the family members and at the same time swinging the necklace in front of each of them to gauge their reaction. Romona is the only one who looks troubled at the sight of the necklace. Rahul stumbles in totally drunk. anjali takes him to his room, removes his shoes and puts him into bed.(very sweet mother/son moment).
Anjali is on a mission - she catches addy in time as Addy is about to strike diama for alerting anjali and having anjali stop the wedding. Anjali has found out some hidden secret about addy and for once addy looks threatened by anjali. Then Anjali get romona at the pool - almost throws romona in the pool and harrasses her about the necklace. Romona says that the necklace is not hers it belongs to JD. Anjali says that she has to find out who JD is
