I don't take my work for granted: Giaa Maanek
Petite and gorgeous Giaa Maanek, who became a household name as Gopi from her last show for Star Plus (Saath Nibhana Saathiya) and was later seen in Colors' reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, is a very hard working woman who doesn't take her job for granted.
We got in touch with this lovely lady who is currently seen as Jeannie in SAB TV's Jeannie aur Juju and asked her about her character in the show. "It's fun to play Jeannie's character. After playing the role of Gopi who was very innocent and a typical bahu, I am now playing an out and out brat."
"Till now you have seen me in different avatars like sardarni among others, but soon you will see me in a Charlie Chaplin kind of role. On the whole, I am glad that I got a chance to show off my versatility in Jeannie Aur Juju," she averred.
"Some actors take their work for granted and crib about their working hours and their work, but I have never done that till yet. I respect my work a lot as it's my bread and butter. Grass is always greener at the other side, but one should understand the importance of one's work." she observed.
There's a buzz that she might get replaced in the show but both Giaa and producer Rajiv Mehra (Eagle Films) denied the same in an interview.
