Karan Oberoi turns Producer

Confirms Karan, "I've opened a production house called Artistic Unlimited," and adds, "We have a few projects on hand and I expect them to go on air by January. It's too early to reveal any details. All I can tell you right now is that we are working on two fiction shows and two non-fiction subjects. The latter ones are related to music."

Can we expect something different from this producer? "We are definitely looking at doing something different as most producers would say. Honestly, the launch of so many new channels provides us with the flexibility to explore new avenues, Karan replies.

On the transformation from a singer-actor to now a producer, Karan says, "It's been very good. I've carefully monitored all my work and handpicked a good creative team. It has taken a good 8-9 months just to form my team. It will take a few more months before we start functioning smoothly."

And what about acting? "It will not take a backseat. However, you will not see me as an actor on such a regular basis," he reveals.
