If Samir Soni was Armaan ...

There are lots of Samir Soni's fans here in this forum and I assume the reason behind his popularity is JJKN.

What do you think if Samir was playing Armaan's role, would you have liked him as much ?

No never..... Basically the character Armaan Suri is very unlikable. How can you like a person who takes advantage of a pure hearted girl working so hard for his company and who also loves him (or used to)very much?

Well actually the actor Apoorva Agnihotri is really a very good looking actor and from his interviews he seems to be a very down to earth guy.

Yeah, i agree Manimau. It's not Apurva Agnihotri that I don't like (in fact, I do like him a lot), it's ARMAAN that I dislike. Which is why, again, i think that apurva should give T & D an ultimatum that they should fix his character or he'll leave. If Samir was playing the character of Armaan, then I probably wouldn't like him b/c it is the character of Armaan which is bad.

🤢Nooo.....never liked him in any of his movies either.....and regardless of who played it, Armaan would still be A.S.(S).....most of us r Purab fans here anyways not S.S......and similarly if Purab was being played by another actor, it might lose its impact too. I guess u can say it is the characteristics that Sameer seems to have given to Purab's role that make it unique.😉

Samir was given the role of arman but he refuesed to do it that time...due to some date problems.....But later he showed interest in JJKN, so I think in order to accomodate Samir as he best fit the Orignial Armando's role, they have created this twist. Cuz in original Story Armando was not evil, rather by this time he was fully in love with Betty.

So if Samir is actually playing the real Armando of original story. And yes I like him to be Armando :)

true.. it is the character of Armaan that we do not like and as has been said many times his character seems to be damaged beyond repair now.. Atleast during those pretend days I used to think may be he will start liking her while pretending, but now it is really beyond repair.. Apoorva should not have really agreed to this change..

As for SS, we like Purab becuase of how he has potrayed it. We might have still liked the Purab character if not for SS, but I think he brought that extra something to the role which is making everyone go gaga over him.. We have to give him credit for that.. You all like good people but don't fall head over heels for them all the time.. 😉😉😉

So, to answer your question, we do not like the role of A.S.S even if it had it been any other actor, even SS.

Purab's character is such a rage today because of the way Samir has played it. He has brought his own sensibilities, his own personality, his own perspective to it. The character has made such a huge impact on people that the makers have had to change the storyline and give it more airtime. Had someone else played it, maybe this character wld have disappeared after the 4 episodes it originally planned to appear in. 😳

Who knows, had Samir played Armaan, he wld have made a similar impact !!!! Maybe then T&D wld not have felt the need to introduce a character like purab and deviate from the original track. May be then, they wld have let Armaan be Armando and not become an ASS. 😉😉😉

Samir is good, no doubr.. bu tthat is not the reason I like the charecter purab. I have to give credit to samir for putting his emotions and thoughts and making it seem so realistic of him bieng the purab charecter. But I don't like the purab charecter because of him, agreed he fits direclty into the role and i can't imagine apruva in that role, but it's the charecter Il am in love with.

As for apruva, he is really good looking but the wat T& D have protrayed his charecter they messed it up big time. If I was to meet him in person, even though I would know he is just acting, I would still have this hatred burning for him. So he really needs to do something about that.

But I seriously can't imagine SS in armaan's role.. maybe because I'm so use to seeing his face protrayed in the purab charecter. But again, I myself am in love with Purab, not samir.

let me say I cannot imagine anybody else as armaan other than apoorva and similarly cannot imagine anybody else as purub other than samir .

but if samir where to play armaan as he said in one of his interviews it would be a different armaan altogether .
